2 Main Categories Of SEO: On-Page & Off-Page SEO
Your search engine optimization strategy can be divided into two different categories: on-page SEO and off-page SEO. Both are important to the success of an SEO campaign, but they’re on completely different sides when it comes to improving your search engine rankings. To understand the difference between the two, you have to understand, at a basic level, how search engine algorithms work. Let’s break it down.
There are two main buckets that search engines look at when evaluating your site compared to other sites on the web.
On-page SEO
Off-page SEO
Put simply, what you rank for is largely determined by on-page factors, while how high you rank in the search results is largely determined by off-page factors.
On-Page SEO
On-page SEO (also known as “on-site” SEO) is the act of optimizing different parts of your website that affect your search engine rankings. It’s stuff that you have control over and can change on your own website. Here are the biggest factors included.
Title Tags
Put your targeted keywords in the title tag of each page on your site. There are many best practices that go into writing an effective title tag.
Headings (H1)
Headings are usually the largest words on the page, and for that reason, search engines give them a little more weight than your other page copy.  It is a good idea to work your target keywords into the headings of each web page but make sure you accurately reflect your page content.
URL structure
Put keywords into your URLs if possible. However, do not go changing all of your current URLs just so they have keywords in them. You shouldn’t change old URLs unless you plan on redirecting your old ones to your new ones. Consult a professional before doing this.
Alt text for images
Any content management system should allow you to add something called “alt text” to all images on your website.  This text isn’t visible to the average visitor – alt text is in fact used by screen reader software to help blind internet users understand the content of your images. Search engines crawl images in a similar way, so inserting some relevant keywords while accurately describing the image will help search engines understand your page’s content.
Fast-loading pages, or page load speed
Google wants to help its users find what they’re looking for as quickly as possible to provide the best user experience. Therefore, optimizing your pages to load faster helps your site rank higher in the search results.
Page content
The content on your pages needs to be useful to people. If they search for something too specific to find your page, they need to be able to find what they’re looking for.  It needs to be easy to read and provide value to the end-user. Google has various ways to measure if your content is useful.
Internal Linking
Linking internally to other pages on your website is useful to visitors and it is also useful to search engines. Here’s an internal link to another blog post on our site that talks more about internal linking. Very meta.
On-page SEO ensures that your site can be read by both potential customers and search engine robots. With good on-page SEO, search engines can easily index your web pages, understand what your site is about, and easily navigate the structure and content of your website, thus ranking your site accordingly.
Off-Page SEO
Off-page SEO focuses on increasing the authority of your domain through the act of getting links from other websites.  A good analogy for how authority works is this. If you have a bathtub with rubber duckies in it (the ducks are your pages), and you start filling the tub with water (links), your duckies are all going to rise to the top.  This is how a site like Wikipedia ranks for pretty much everything under the sun.  It has so much water in its bathtub that if you throw another rubber duck in it, it’s going to float to the top without any other effort. There’s a score called “Domain Authority” that calculates how authoritative your website is compared to other sites.  You can type your domain name into here to see your score.
The biggest off-page SEO factor is the number and quality of backlinks to your website. Some examples of ways you can build links to your website are:
Creating awesome content that people want to link to because it is valuable.
Social media shares of your content that ultimately generate links.
Outreach e-mails to influencers in your industry that ultimately link to you.
Guest blogging on sites related to yours.  These guest posts will have links back to your site.
While link quantity is still important, content creators and SEO professionals are realizing that link quality is now more important than link quantity, and as such, creating shareable content is the first step to earning valuable links and improving your off-page SEO. How many links do you need for good off-page SEO? That is a tough question and it’s going to be based on the domain authority of your competitors, as you want to make sure you’re playing in the same sandbox. SEOs also used to believe that buying links was a valid way of link building; however, Google will now penalize you for buying links in an attempt to manipulate page rank. You can also be penalized for submitting your links to link directories whose sole purpose is to increase your domain authority. Again, quality wins out over quantity when it comes to link building.
On-Page vs Off-Page SEO – Which is more important?
It’s not about choosing between on-page and off-page SEO, that would be like having to choose between a foundation or a roof for your house. On-page and off-page SEO work together to improve your search engine rankings in complementary fashion; however, SEOs generally advise getting your on-page SEO ducks in a row before focusing too much on off-page SEO. Just like building a house, you want to set the foundation first before building the rest of the house.  Like a foundation, you may need to come back and do some maintenance to your on-page SEO from time to time. Balancing the two will help make your website “bilingual” so that your users can understand it as well as the search engine robots- and that’s how your rankings start to improve.

How To Know It’s A Right Time to Outsource Your Back Office Admin Support Tasks?
As the owner of a company, you probably think that outsourcing is expensive and you think it’s not very difficult to manage tasks on your own. But as your company grows, these responsibilities will also grow. They’ll become increasingly more complex and time-consuming to manage in-house.
You might be amazed to know that smaller tasks are actually the best candidates for outsourcing and the ones that can benefit the most from the services offered by back office service providers. They can reduce your costs, drive efficiencies, and provide myriad other advantages that will help you run your business in a smarter, more streamlined and effective manner.
Is it time for you to outsource your back office tasks? Here are some of the things that indicate it’s the right time.
Your company Is Growing Quickly
The life of a small firm owner is exciting. Booms in business, thanks to the rise of the contingent worker, allow you to grow your business faster than you expected. But this increase in business comes with some operational constraints. You’ll have to bring onboard more workers, pay a larger temporary workforce, and manage new risks. The bigger your business gets, the more time consuming, complex, and risky it’s going to get for you to manage your back office tasks on your own. If you’re experiencing exponential growth or see it in your near future, it’s time to outsource your backroom operations.
Misaligned Technology
Sometimes this happened that technology might not be aligned with where your company. Your technology might not always scale to growth. As your needs become more complex, off-the-shelf small business accounting software and HR systems just won’t provide sufficient returns anymore. In fact, they might hinder your operations instead. If you’ve outgrown your technology, it might be time to outsource your back office tasks s instead of investing in expensive new software that you’ll have to spend additional time learning.
You’re Making Mistakes
One of the most significant benefits you get when you outsource your back office tasks is accuracy. Whether you’re making mistakes due to miscalculations, making misclassification errors while onboarding employees, making errors when it comes to legislative compliance, or making HR mistakes while managing your workforce, the consequences can be costly and more expensive.
When you outsource your tasks, you get a guarantee that if any errors it’s on the back office service provider side. Don’t worry though, because these mistakes rarely occur due to the service provider’s experience and expertise.
You’re Losing Your Focus
As we’ve mentioned above, handling back office tasks can become incredibly time consuming. While you’re trying to manage them as best you can, you’re likely neglecting your core business activities that drive growth and profits. If you’re losing focus on your core business because you’re spending the majority of your time on HR, payroll, and compliance, it’s time to outsource your backroom operations so you can get back to the work that matters.
You Want to Reduce Overhead
Just about every business in the world is trying to reduce overhead expenses in order to have the cash flow needed to invest in more important business activities and stay competitive. Outsourcing your back office work is an excellent solution. Though you will pay a fee to the back office service provider, the cost of that fee is minimal compared to the costs of hiring a payroll clerk, buying equipment and supplies, investing in software, paying fines and penalties from non-compliance, and having the necessary square footage to perform all of your back-office functions in-house.

How To Use Social Media To Boost Your Traffic?
Building social media traffic is a lot like a city planner knowing how to efficiently get traffic in and out of a city. If each roadway into a city is a different source of website visitors, your social media traffic should certainly be a pillar to your highway infrastructure.
Getting people to your website through social media engagement can be tricky, especially if you’re on a limited budget and already attempting paid advertising. While paid social can certainly help boost your website traffic, how do you get people to go to your social channels?
As we all know, social media has the ability to be a major source of the traffic to your site. The larger presence you build on social media, the more you can rely on steady social media traffic to your site.
If you’re wanting to use social media to boost your blog traffic, here are different ways to do that:
Get on Twitter. Start following my Twitter tips for beginners. And if it’s not already on your blog, add the “tweet” button to all of your blog posts. It looks like this:
Start a Facebook page for your blog. This is a great, additional subscription option for heavy Facebook users, and it can be a means of expanding your platform. I’ve met several new people who “liked” my page and weren’t previously friends with me on Facebook. Visit my Facebook page to see what one looks like.
Regularly share your content on Facebook. There are some great tools to help make this easier for you. Encourage your readers to do the same by adding a Facebook “like” or “share” button.
Ask others to promote your blog via social bookmarking sites, such as DIGG, Stumbleupon, Reddit, and others. You may occasionally do this yourself, but be careful of doing it repeatedly, as some sites penalize sites with multiple submissions from the same user.
Implement social sharing tools on your website. An excellent tool is Flare, which allows you to combine sharing options via Twitter, Facebook, email, and social bookmarking sites into one tool.
Use a social-powered commenting tool like Disqus or IntenseDebate.
Write catchy headlines that people will want to share. Most people neglect this by posting well-written articles with crappy, nondescript titles. Don’t do that.
Write compelling content. You might be thinking, “Duh,” but I mean that. It has to be really good. Like, better than your average blog.
Be Awesome
That last point is worth emphasizing again: create compelling content. If you want your blog to compete on social media sites, you need to say something worth listening to. In other words, be awesome.
This is the downside of social media. Everyone now has a voice. Which ups the ante for those wanting to communicate and be heard in this space. You either have to be really specific or really radical. Maybe both.
Personally, I like this new rule. It means that playing it safe is no longer an option. If you don’t break some rules, you can do all of the above and still fail. This means that the great writers and communicators will start rising to the top.
So what will you do? I hope you’ll break the rule. I hope you’ll be different. I hope you create something worth our attention, something epic.
Boost Your Blog Traffic Through Social Media
There used to be one way to grow your blog traffic:
Start blogging every day.
Build an audience through consistency and capturing people’s attention via email and RSS subscriptions.
Increase the “stickiness” of your posts by optimizing for search engines.
Wait.
The hardest part for me, admittedly, was #4. The hard truth is that the age of a blog determines a lot about its credibility and worth to the Internet. But that was before social media.
That was before millions of people were connecting with new people every day to exchange information — before social networks dominated online news distribution.
Now, you have an advantage…
Now, you can start a blog today, and tomorrow it could be a success. Now, you’re no longer constrained by the “older is better” rule. Now, you can utilize the social web to your advantage, by creating remarkable content and unleashing it to the masses who will share it for you.
This is, essentially, what I’ve been doing with my blog.

THINGS TO DISCUSS WITH YOUR WEB DEVELOPER BEFORE YOU START
If you’re designing a new website or online store, and you need a web developer. You might need them to develop a site from start. Or maybe you just need them to work through some tweaks, changes, issues, or extra functionality.
I’ve found that an open conversation about these items can start a project off on the right foot.
1. How Will We Communicate?
How will you communicate while working on the project? Slack? Phone calls? Texts? Emails? PM software? Just as importantly: How often will you communicate? Every day? Once a week? At kickoff, and then not again until QA? If you’re doing a daily check-in, will it be a two-sentence email or a 15-minute phone call? What’s the plan in case of emergencies?
You want to have a good rapport with your developer, and to accomplish that, you need an established mode of communication. Usually, a phone call is helpful to develop an initial personal connection and to make sure it’s a good personality fit.
During development, work to strike a balance between checking in too much and too little. Too much and you’re micro-managing. Too little and the developer might not stay on track. It’s best to set the expectations at the top and stick to them.
2. How Will You Manage the Project?
Where are the files and login credentials the developer will need? Where will you track tasks, milestones, and deadlines? What software will you use? Basecamp? Trello? Asana? A spreadsheet or Google Doc? Basically, define the central hub for everything related to the project.
3. Who’s Calling the Shots?
Are you the final decision maker on the project? Is there a UI/UX team involved? Is there anyone else who has input on decisions? Is there a marketing team or a manager who wants to weigh in on decisions? Is anyone else other than you going to be giving direction directly to the developer? When does the client come in, and how many decisions does the client get to make? Will the client have direct communication with the developer?
4. How Should the Developer Handle Assumptions and Small Decisions?
How much freedom does the developer have while interpreting designs? Should they build the website pixel-perfect according to the designs, or should they make small assumptions around consistency and reusability of sections? If you’ve designed a responsive site, have you designed for all breakpoints? Have you provided notes regarding animations, transitions, and hover effects? Have you designed validation states for fields? (i.e. the popups: “Password invalid.” or “Username doesn’t exist”.) If you haven’t, is the developer free to make decisions or suggestions?
5. What is the timeline?
What’s the hard deadline for the project, and what’s the soft deadline? Is there a major press hit happening that the site needs to be launched for? If the deadline is ambitious, is there a way to launch it in phases? What’s the expectation for responding to quick changes? One week turnaround? Less than an hour?
6. What’s the Structure of the Scope, Contract, and Payment Structure?
What’s the project fee? What’s the benchmark for the end of the project? What is included in the scope of the project? When does payment go out? Are you hiring the developer to do the project at an hourly or fixed rate?
Overall, setting expectations and communication are critical things here. It can feel a bit silly to discuss how you’re going to talk to each other during a project, especially if you already have a good rapport. But it’s always good to just set expectations ahead of time, so you don’t end up inside your own horror story.

CMS Development Services – Joomla & WordPress By SDF Systems
Content management system (CMS) website refers to the type of website on which the owner can add or remove data without the help of professional web designers. In this type of websites, the web developer gives access to a generic data entry mechanism which allows you to update and change your products placed on the website. All you have to do is to operate through database management forms.
SDF Systems is a specialized web development IT company in CMS website design. We also work in WordPress website design, Joomla website design as well as Magento website design. We have been operating as web developers. CMS websites reduce the time for data update and give liberty to the owner for type, quality, and quantity of data contents.
Websites developed using Joomla, WordPress and Magento help in content management on the sites. CMS designed websites is useful in the case where data needs to be updated regularly or at real-time. It lowers your cost of managing website because the developer runs a database behind web pages and gives you the data changing controls. Therefore in order to change the data you need not involve highly paid professionals. Data entry forms are easy to operate and handle.
Joomla & WordPress are content management systems designed so users with no prior programming experience can still build a website. The systems are fantastic for building blogs for everyday use but unfortunately, many users rely on commonly used templates for the design. The problem with using Joomla and WordPress without coding knowledge means your website will end up almost identical to hundreds if not thousands of other WordPress users.
Here at SDF Systems, We specialize in custom-built Joomla and WordPress templates and provide unique websites that are exclusive to you. View this article to see why we use Joomla for web design.
WordPress and Joomla development is complex. Fortunately, we have specialist CMS developers that are specifically trained to a high standard in Joomla and WordPress; able to develop plugins, designs, modules, components, and bespoke web applications. Most of our current projects are built into CMS platforms to allow full access and control for clients.
We admit that Joomla extensions and components are a complicated subject and can be frustrating when they won’t do the job you need them to. We offer a full Joomla and WordPress development service to accommodate any design or development required.
WordPress and Joomla are fantastic content management systems that enable full control of your website or blog. If you would be interested in a bespoke website built upon these famous frameworks, why not give us a call or contact us here for further information. To view some examples of our current clients that use Joomla and WordPress, please visit our web design portfolio. Here you will find a range of different sites all built into a CMS framework.
Joomla and WordPress
The web is a competitive place so a productive site that offers great usability is essential. For most site owners using a CMS, unique design and individual approach is rarely achievable because, without coding knowledge, you have to use templates. For this reason, we develop bespoke Joomla and WordPress websites from scratch. We give customers the opportunity to own an exclusive and individual website that is still built in a CMS framework, offering full site control.
Joomla Plugin Development
To add functionality to a Joomla website, the system uses plugins, modules, and extensions to make common functions such as web forms, slideshows and shopping carts much easier to implement. This is a great way of getting things done but what if you need a certain plugin feature that Joomla can’t provide? We have developed numerous websites that require advanced features. We develop Joomla plugins and components from scratch and we also build extensions to suit all Joomla versions.
Bespoke CMS Templates
We find that most problems encountered in Joomla or WordPress are down to the lack of customization available without programming knowledge. Joomla and WordPress use a programming technology called PHP, so unless you’re a competent programmer, you may struggle to develop bespoke features for these frameworks. Our web developers are PHP5 and CMS experts and can build your bespoke Joomla or WordPress websites for you.
SDF Systems provide complete independence to its CMS website clients throughout Worldwide. Our team of highly skilled individuals is always on toes to prepare top quality CMS based websites. We not only prepare quality products, we also apprise our customers regarding its operation. We hope and assure that you will enjoy full control over your website.

Graphic Design — Different Types Of Graphic Design
What is Graphic Design?
Graphic design is the art of creating visual content to communicate messages. Applying visual hierarchy and page layout techniques, graphic designers use typography and some pictures to meet the user’s specific needs and focus on the logic of displaying elements in interactive designs to optimize the user experience.
Each type of graphic design requires a specific set of skills and design techniques. Many designers specialize in a single type; others focus on a set of related, similar types. But because the industry is quickly changing, designers must be adaptable and lifelong learners so they can change or add specializations throughout their careers.
Whether you are an aspiring designer or seeking graphic or web design services for your business, understanding the different types of graphic design will help you find the right skills for the job.
1. Visual identity graphic design
A brand is a relationship between a business and/or organization and its audience. A brand identity is how the organization communicates its personality, emotions, and experiences. Visual identity graphic design is exactly that: the visual elements of brand identity that act as the face of a brand to communicate those intangible qualities through different images, shapes, and color.
Designers that are specialized in visual identity graphic design collaborate with brand stakeholders to create assets like logos, typography, color palettesand image libraries that represent a brand’s personality. In addition to the standard business cards and corporate stationery, designers can often develop a set of visual brand guidelines that describe best practices and provide examples of visual branding applied across various media. These guidelines help to ensure brand consistency throughout future applications.
Visual identity graphic designers must have a general knowledge of all types of graphic design in order to create design elements that are suitable across all visual media. They also need excellent communication, conceptual and creative skills, and a passion for researching industries, organizations, trends, and competitors.
2. Corporate Design
When it comes to starting a business, you get to hear terms like “Differentiator,” “Brand Recognition.” But there is one term that doesn’t get much attention, and that’s “corporate design.” Every business whether it’s small, medium or large has a different story to tell. The story is about their vision, mission, strength, USP, etc.
When we talk about corporate design, it is more than traditional graphic design. It is a broad term that is used to cover two main elements: design (like the logo, colors, typography) and strategy (like branding). Let’s discuss them in detail:
Logo: A logo is a graphic mark or a symbol used to identify the company, product or brand. The importance of graphic design is demonstrated form the design of the logo. A planned logo design attracts potential clients. It is instantly recognizable and memorable.
Color: Along with the logo, a graphic designer should also take into consideration the colors to be used in designing a logo. The selected range of colors should get fit in the logo as it is used on a website, advertising, signage, packaging, etc.
Typography: A well-designed logo is a combination of business and art. With the help of typography balance between the two can be achieved easily. Fonts play a significant role in logo design. Selection of the wrong font can ruin your brand image.
Branding: Branding has become one of the biggest buzzwords of the decade. A good brand identity design differentiates your product or services from your competitors and provides customers with a strong reason to choose your product. From the logo design to various marketing collaterals, graphic designing skills are used.
3. Website Graphic Design
Your site is a digital salesperson. Good website design can help you in attracting potential customers and increase sales. A professional graphic designer helps your company to build a user-friendly and athletically pleasing website for your company. He is a visual communicator whose job is to put together all the elements such as text, images, layout, etc. and design a website that can arouse the curiosity in the customers to dive in further.
There are a lot of drag-and-drop website builders available but hiring a professional graphic designer can save a lot of time. If you are a budget-conscious and want a professional graphic design service, then you are at right place.
4. Marketing & Advertising graphic design
When most people think of graphic design, they think of designs created for marketing and advertising.
Companies depend on successful marketing efforts to tap into their target audience’s decision-making process. Great marketing engages people based on the wants, needs, awareness, and satisfaction they have about a product, service or brand. Since people will always find visual content more engaging, graphic design helps organizations promote and communicate more effectively.
Marketing designers work with company owners, directors, managers or marketing professionals to create assets for marketing strategies. They might work alone or as part of an in-house or creative team. Designers can specialize in a specific type of media (vehicle wraps or magazine ads, for example) or create a broad assortment of collateral for print, digital, and beyond. While traditionally print-centered, this role has grown to include more digital assets, especially for use in content marketing.
Examples of marketing graphic design are Postcards and flyers, Magazine and newspaper ads, posters, banners and billboards, Info graphics, Brochures (print and digital), Vehicle wraps, Signage and trade show displays, Email marketing templates, PowerPoint presentations, Menus, Social media ads, banners and graphics, Banner and retargeting ads, Images for websites and blogs.
5. User interface graphic design
A user interface (UI) is how a user interacts with a device or application. The UI design is the process of designing interfaces to make them easy to use and provide a user-friendly experience.
A UI includes all of the things a user interacts with the screen, keyboard, and mouse but in the context of graphic design, UI design focuses on the user’s visual experience and the design of on-screen graphic elements like buttons, menus, micro-interactions, and more. It’s a UI designer’s job to balance aesthetic appeal with technical functionality.
UI designers specialize in desktop apps, mobile apps, web apps, and games. They work closely with UX (user experience) designers (who determine how the app works) and UI developers (who write code to make it work).
Examples of user interface graphic design are Web page design, Theme design, Game interfaces, App design, etc.
6. Publication graphic design
Publications are long-form pieces that communicate with an audience through public distributions. They have traditionally been a print medium. Think books, newspapers, magazines, and catalogs. However, there’s recently been a significant rise in digital publishing.
Graphic designers that specialize in publications work with editors and publishers to create layouts with carefully selected typography and accompanying the artwork, which includes photography, graphics, and illustrations. Publication designers may work as freelancers, as creative agency members or in-house as part of a publishing company.
Examples of publication graphic design, Books, Newspapers, Newsletters, Directories, Annual reports, Magazines, Catalogs.
7. Packaging graphic design
Most products require some form of packaging to protect and prepare them for storage, distribution, and sales. But packaging design can also communicate directly to consumers, which makes it an extremely valuable marketing tool. Every box, bottle, and bag, every can, container, or canister is a chance to tell the story of a brand.
Packaging designers create concepts, develop mockups and create the print-ready files for a product. This requires expert knowledge of print processes and a keen understanding of industrial design and manufacturing. Because packaging design touches so many disciplines, it’s not uncommon for designers to find themselves creating other assets for a product such as photography, illustrations, and visual identity.
8. Motion graphic design
Simply put, motion graphics are graphics that are in motion. This can include animation, audio, typography, imagery, video and other effects that are used in online media, television, and film. The medium’s popularity has skyrocketed in recent years as technology improved and video content became king.
“Motion graphics designer” is a somewhat new specialty for designers. Formally reserved for TV and film, technological advances have reduced production time and costs, making the art form more accessible and affordable. Now, motion graphics can be found across all digital platforms, which has created all sorts of new areas and opportunities.
Examples of motion graphic design, Title sequences and end credits, Advertisements, Animated logos, Trailers, Presentations, Promotional videos, Tutorial videos, Websites, Apps, Video games, Banners, GIFs.
9. Environmental Web
Environmental graphic design visually connects people to places to improve their overall experience by making spaces more memorable, interesting, informative or easier to navigate.
Examples of environmental graphic design, Signage, Wall murals, Museum exhibitions, Office branding, Public transportation navigation, Retail store interiors, Stadium branding, Event and conference spaces.
10. Art and illustration for graphic design
Graphic art and illustration are often seen as being the same as graphic design, however, they’re each very different. Designers create compositions to communicate and solve problems, graphic artists and illustrators create original artwork. Their art takes a number of forms, from fine art to decoration to storytelling illustrations.
Even though graphic art and illustration are not technically types of graphic design, so much is created for commercial use within the context of graphic design that you can’t talk about one without the others.
Examples of art and illustration for graphic design, T-shirt design, Graphic patterns for textiles, Motion graphics, Stock Images, Graphic novels, Video games, Websites, Comic books, Album art, Book covers, Picture books, Infographics, Technical illustration, Concept art.

How Virtual Assistant (VA) Can Double Your Productivity?
Productivity is very important in our personal as well as professional lives. As a business owner of a small or either large firm, it’s very important that you stay productive for your business to grow and succeed. There may be days in a year when you feel busy and there is so much to do, yet you have so little time. You might need a helping hand so you can accomplish more and more. Thus, it’s the best option for you to work with a virtual assistant (VA).
According to data gathered by some Business Trends, small business owners agree that delegation is the best step that improves productivity. You can assign work to a VA so you can focus on tasks that directly impact your business’ growth and success. Take a closer look at some of the ways you can achieve and double your productivity through hiring a virtual assistant:
Visualize your main Business Goals
Goal setting and visualization are key factors to increased productivity of your business. If you have a clear vision of your priorities and what you want to achieve, then it will be easier for you to work effectively and efficiently and produce more quality output. You can easily increase the power of visualization by creating and using a vision board.
Once you’ve listed all your goals and main tasks, you can ask your virtual assistant (VA) to help you create a digital vision board. While VA searches for elements that you want to include in your vision board, you can attend to other important tasks and your productivity will increase.
Schedule your High and Low Priority Tasks
Some people are less productive because they don’t prioritize their tasks but it helps if you make a daily, weekly, or monthly to-do lists and schedule your tasks in advance. This way, you’ll know what is important for you and needs to be done immediately and what you can put on hold for later.
To double your productivity, you and your VA can use an online calendar and some scheduling tools. After this, you can work on the high-priority tasks and let your VA handle the less crucial ones, such as data entry, data mining, research or email management. In this way, you’ll be able to accomplish more by doing less.
Stop Doing Multitasking
Multitasking is now considered an important skill. However, some market research has shown that it can hinder productivity. Therefore, it’s best if you block distractions and focus on a single task first. Once you’re done with that single task you can now move on to another task or project. In case if there are multiple tasks that need your attention at the same time, you can clear your vision and assign some of the tasks to your personal virtual assistant. With VA help, you can easily quit multitasking and become more productive.
Take Some Breaks
Taking a break may seem counterintuitive, but it actually helps to boost productivity. As much as you want to complete everything in your to-do-list right away, you are not invincible. You need to take regular breaks to improve your concentration and maintain a high level of performance. So while you go out for a break, your virtual assistant can continue working on your tasks. Regular breaks definitely help improve your mental health and increase productivity.
Work Offline
The internet is now an important part of our lives. You need to stay online to communicate regularly with your staff, connect with customers, and run your business. But you sometimes you may need to offline too. If you work with a virtual assistant, your operations will still run regularly and smoothly even if you work offline. VA can manage all your main tasks like managing social media, write an article for your blog, and much more. Your personal VA got your back.
Productivity is key to your business growth and success. Follow the tips SDF Systems, mentioned staying productive. Embrace the benefits of hiring virtual assistants from SDF Systems. With our VA help, you can boost your productivity and achieve your business goals in less time.

Lead Generation — Generating Business Leads
What Is a Lead?
Lead generation is the process of attracting and converting strangers and prospects into someone who has indicated interest in your company’s product or service. Some examples of lead generators are job applications, blog posts, coupons, live events, and online content.
As a lead, you’d hear from a business or organization with which you’ve already opened communication, instead of getting a random cold call from someone who purchased your contact info.
It’s a way of warming up potential customers to your business and getting them on the path to eventually buying.
Why Do You Need Lead Generation?
When a stranger initiates a relationship with you by showing an organic interest in your business, the transition from stranger to a customer is much more natural.
Lead generation falls within the second stage of the inbound marketing methodology. It occurs after you’ve attracted an audience and are ready to convert those visitors into leads for your sales team (namely sales-qualified leads). As you can see in the diagram below, generating leads is a fundamental point in an individual’s journey to becoming a delighted customer.
How to Generate Leads
Now that we understand how lead generation fits into the whole inbound marketing methodology, let’s walk through the steps of the lead generation process.
First, a visitor discovers your business through one of your marketing channels, such as your website, blog, or social media page.
That visitor then clicks on your call-to-action (CTA) — an image, button, or message that encourages website visitors to take some sort of action.
The CTA takes your visitor to a landing page, which is a web page that is designed to capture lead information in exchange for an offer.
An offer is content or something of value that’s being “offered” on the landing page, like an ebook, a course, or a template. The offer must have enough perceived value to a visitor to merit providing their personal information in exchange for access to it.
The form on your landing page consists of a series of fields (like in our example above) that collect information in exchange for the offer. Forms are typically hosted on landing pages, although they can technically be embedded anywhere on your site. Once a visitor fills this out — voila! — you have a new lead! (That is, as long as you’re following lead-capture form best practices.)
See how everything fits together?
To sum it up: Visitor clicks a CTA that takes them to a landing page where they fill out a form to get an offer, at which point they become a lead.
By the way, you should check out our free lead generation tool. It helps you create lead capture forms directly on your website. Plus, it’s really easy to set up.
Lead Generation Marketing
Once you put all of these elements together, you can use your various promotional channels to drive traffic to your landing page to start generating leads.
But what channels should you use to promote your landing page? Let’s talk about the front-end of lead generation — lead gen marketing.
Content
Content is a great way to guide users to a landing page. Typically, you create content to provide visitors with useful, free information. You can include CTAs anywhere in your content — inline, bottom-of-post, in the hero, or even on the side panel. The more delighted a visitor is with your content, the more likely they are to click your call-to-action and move onto your landing page.
Email
Email is a great place to reach the people who already know your brand and product or service. It’s much easier to ask them to take action since they’ve previously subscribed to your list. Emails tend to be a bit cluttered, so use CTAs that have a compelling copy and an eye-catching design to grab your subscriber’s attention.
Ads and Retargeting
The sole purpose of an ad is to get people to take action. Otherwise, why spend the money? If you want people to convert, be sure that your landing page and offer match exactly what is promised in the ad, and that the action you want users to take is crystal clear.
Blog
The great thing about using your blog posts to promote an offer is that you can tailor the entire piece to the end goal. So, if your offer is an instructional video on setting up Google Search Console, then you can write a blog post about how to select your marketing metrics … which would make your CTA highly relevant and easy to click.
Social Media
Social media platforms make it easy to guide your followers to take action, from the swipe up option on Instagram stories to Facebook bio links to bitly URLs on Twitter. You can also promote your offerings on your social posts and include a call-to-action in your caption. Learn more about social media campaigns in this post.
Product Trials
You can break down a lot of barriers to a sale by offering trials of your product or service. Once a prospect is using your product, you can entice them with additional offers or resources to encourage them to buy. Another good practice is to include your branding in your free versions so you can capture other potential customers, too.
Referral Marketing
Referral, or word-of-mouth, marketing is useful for lead generation in a different way. That is, it gets your brand in front of more people, which, in turn, increases your chances of generating more leads.
Whatever channel you use to generate leads, you’ll want to guide users to your landing page. As long as you’ve built a landing page that converts, the rest will handle itself.
Why Not Just Buy Leads?
Marketers and salespeople alike want to fill their sales funnel — and they want to fill it quickly. Enter: The temptation to buy leads.
Buying leads, as opposed to organically generating them, is much easier and takes far less time and effort, despite being more expensive. But, you might be paying for advertising anyway … so, why not just buy leads?
First and foremost, any leads you’ve purchased don’t actually know you. Typically, they’ve “opted in” at some other site when signing up for something, and didn’t actually opt-in to receiving anything from your company.
The messages you send them are therefore unwanted messages, and sending unwanted messages is intrusive. (Remember that disruptive call I got when I was trying to eat my spaghetti? That’s how people feel when they receive emails and other messages from people they didn’t ask to hear from.)
If the prospect has never been to your website and indicated an interest in your products or services, then you’re interrupting them … plain and simple.
If they never opted in to receive messages specifically from you, then there’s a high chance they could flag your messages as spam, which is quite dangerous for you. Not only does this train to filter out emails from you, but it also indicates to their email provider which emails to filter out.
Once enough people flag your messages as spam, you go on a “blacklist,” which is then shared with other email providers. Once you get on the blacklist, it’s really, really hard to get back off of it. In addition, your email deliverability and IP reputation will likely be harmed.
It’s always, always, always better to generate leads organically rather than buy them. Read this blog post to learn how to grow an opt-in email list instead of buying one.

Tips For Creative Sourcing Channels And Recruitment Tools
Due to a shortage of talent and tight labor market do your recruiters have the tools and resources in place to fill your hiring needs in a timely manner? Are your recruiters leveraging multiple sourcing channels to identify, attract and engage both active and especially passive candidates?
If you’re having difficulties with sourcing and hiring the right talent, check out our list of the sourcing channels and recruitment resources that you should consider adding to help drive better results.
Expand Channels For Unique And Advanced Level Candidate Sourcing
It’s important to remember that a successful recruiting program not only relies on an applicant tracking system (ATS) that primarily serves as a tool for processing inbound job applicants generated from different job advertisements.
It’s important to focus your efforts on developing or improving your ability to direct source talent from your competitors and other companies that employ the type of talent that fits your unique company mold. These sourcing channels can and should include:
Develop an employee referral program
Create partnerships with institutes/universities
Mine your internal resume database
Post jobs on specialized, niche job boards using strong job descriptions that attract top talent
Engage with a recruiting firm before making your decision
Upgrade Or Implement an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
An ATS can help employers automate many of their recruiting and hiring processes, which leads to increased productivity, stronger employer branding, and better candidate experience. If you’re using an older, legacy system that leads to work harder not smarter user experience, such as having to click through too many screens or forcing candidates to fill out too many data fields, then it’s time to upgrade to a more advanced system.
There are dozens of applicant tracking systems to choose from these days, some great and some that really shouldn’t be in business, so take plenty of time to thoroughly evaluate your options to ensure you select the best package for your particular needs. In addition, we strongly encourage you to thoroughly check customer references once you narrow your ATS choices down to a few finalists, as many software providers are very good at putting on a strong demo but often times fail to address limitations or issues with their software.
What does a Strong ATS look like?
Excellent communication and sourcing capabilities to identify and engage candidates quickly with as little effort as possible e.g. SMS texting and drip email campaigns
Fewer clicks and data entry requirements
Social media sharing & website integration for job postings
Strong reporting capabilities to track and measure recruiter productivity and KPIs
Omni-platform system: accessible via mobile phone, tablet, and computer
EEOC & OFCCP compliant (critical if you are a government contractor)
Robust online training & excellent customer support
Integration / syncing with your email service provider and calendar
Automates routine steps in the process (candidate scheduling & communications)
Integration with free and paid job boards to reduce administrative burdens associated with manual job postings
Integration with your ERP or HRIS system is a plus to improve data reporting while mitigating duplicate data entry tasks
Implement Additional Candidate Sourcing & Recruiting Tools
There are dozens of tools beyond an ATS system that can simplify your ability to identify top talent and streamline your recruiting process. These tools range from add-ons for your ATS and CRM system to browser extensions that can aid with finding email addresses, to email add-ons that allow you to gain deeper insights into candidates and more.
We’ve included some highly reputable resources below that cover the top tools, systems and sourcing methodologies that your organization can explore for improving your ability to source and recruit supply chain talent.

How Do You Select An Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) Service Provider?
Once your company has decided whether or not RPO is the best solution for your RPO needs, you will need to evaluate your options regarding RPO service providers. Here are a few important things to consider when choosing an RPO provider:
RPO Firm Size:
Depending on your specific needs and requirements, you can choose between a small, medium and/or large RPO service providers. Small service RPO providers are regionally based and may recruit nationally, but tend to be focused on a few specialties. Mid-sized providers are regionally or nationally based, recruit globally, and cover a broader spectrum of industries. Large providers are similar to mid-sized firms, except they are often owned by a professional employer organization and can provide other additional HR outsourcing services beyond RPO.
Service Structure:
The recruiting industry is advancing at a rapid pace, and RPO service providers differ greatly in terms of technologies, processes, and staff they have. Some RPO firms will refine your current processes and work with your existing infrastructure and staff, whereas others prefer to implement a more complete end-to-end solution to meet your requirements. Ask clear questions, explain your desired outcomes and evaluate service agreements with them closely to determine which service provider will best meet your specific needs.
Company Background:
You should make sure that any RPO firm you’re considering is established and has a track record of quality customer service. It is wise to ask for some references
Cultural Fit:
It is important to choose an RPO service provider whose staff is professional and they work well. The RPO will serve as an extension of your HR team, so trust and likability are key factors to a successful long-term relationship with them.
Cost:
Depending on your recruiting needs, the initial cost of partnering with an RPO firm may be more costly than doing the hiring yourself. However, the long-term benefits that come with strategic recruitment processes — including improved quality of candidates, increased retention, and consistency in employment branding and hiring practices — can equate to significant savings in the long run. In addition, your company will be spared the high overhead costs of implementing new methodologies or technologies in-house and will further benefit from the scalability an RPO can provide. Both you and your staff will be free to focus on other core business tasks while your recruiting needs are handled by a dedicated team of professionals of an outsourcing firm.
Commitment:
RPO is not a set-it-and-forget-it solution. Your relationship with the RPO service provider you select will require an investment of time, especially in the early days. You should also be prepared to give your RPO six months to a year to achieve good results.

Outsource Research & Analysis Services: What Are Some Main Factors To Consider?
Business research is done to gather some important facts to decide if a product or service will satisfy the requirements of the customers. By doing effective market research, a company can gather some highly valuable information about its competitors, the economic changes, demographic shift, prevailing market trend as well the spending quality of the consumers.
Expansion of business would eventually require to get more and more information about your competitors and whether a business should do research in-house or outsource the service provider is a very important decision. Even if a business decides to outsource tasks is an equally challenging question of how much money spending is worth should it try to get from the outsourced firm?
By outsourcing research and many other tasks, an organization can not only save time but even get some extra valuable information that it might have overlooked.
Factors to consider while deciding on an outsourcing research and analysis service providing firm:
The way in which the outsourcing research firm works with their clients.
Do the outsourcing research and analysis firm give updates on a daily and/or weekly basis?
The working style of the outsourced firm. Does it match with the organization’s style of working?
Whether the requirements of the firm are properly understood by the outsourced firm.
Methods adopted by the outsourcing firm in its research i.e techniques and strategies that the outsourcing research firm is likely to use in collecting information will decide how effective and reliable it is for the company outsourcing its business.
Having a clear understanding of the price by directly raising the question would be better.
Before deciding on an outsourcing research firm, an organization first needs to have a clear idea about its own goals, aims, requirements, and needs as the type of research conducted depend on the information needed by the firm.

Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) Support Service
Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) is on the rise now a days. The recent downturn in the industry led many companies to scale back their workforce, but as things turn around now they are looking to hire new staff.
The current industry scenario demands new talent acquisition model that is more scalable, flexible and cost-effective than the internal recruiting department. RPO is a convincing takeoff from traditional methods, making it a logical choice for growth-oriented businesses large and small.
What Is RPO?
RPO services are different from those offered by staffing companies. The Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) is a form of business process outsourcing where an employer transfers all or part of its recruitment processes to an external or 3rd party service provider.
RPO firms act as an extension of a company’s HR department and can manage all or specific parts of the recruiting process. Their solutions are customizable depending on need and available resources, and they typically offer services ranging from job profiling to the on-boarding of new hires.
Is RPO Outsourcing Right For You?
In the hands of a skilled and experienced service provider, RPO can offer a lot of benefits to your firm, including improved hiring time, increased quality of candidates and add values. In today’s marketplace, these factors can give your business a large significant competitive edge.
Whether you need a little help with finding new candidates or hiring staff or would prefer to outsource the entire process, there are a few things you should consider when evaluating an RPO solution for your company:
Why Your Company Needs Help With Recruiting?
It is very important to understand why your company needs for hiring assistance before seeking outside service provider help for RPO. Doing so will set the stage for the selection and management of a suitable RPO, as well as expectations for your internal human resource, management, and executive teams. Begin by exploring specific reasons and rank them in order of priority, top to bottom.
Examples include:
Internal resources are expensive and over-taxed.
You foresee an increase in hiring activity.
Your management team wants a more accountable and/or consistent option than traditional internal recruiters, contract recruiters and agencies.
Metrics related to recruiting quality, speed and costs are unknown.
The Type Of Assistance You Require:
RPO Outsourcing Firm typically provide three levels of service:
Project outsourcing
If you need help hiring a few or small group of people, that is project outsourcing.
Program outsourcing
If you need 300 or more people immediately, that’s program outsourcing.
Total outsourcing
If your entire HR department needs support, that’s total outsourcing.
Identifying the type of required assistance will help you to determine if RPO is right for you, and will go a long way in helping you select a service provider who can fulfill your specific needs.
The specific problems an RPO can and cannot solve.
Although cost savings is an important advantage of outsourcing your recruiting function, it should not be your primary reason for considering this type of arrangement. RPO is a highly consultative function with vast differences in structure, focus, technology, and cost.
Where RPO firms shine is in their ability to improve candidate quality, increase recruitment responsiveness and implement a best-in-class recruitment process to carry your company forward. They cannot, however, be expected to solve your existing problems with fewer resources than you are currently allocating. If your company has inefficient processes and infrastructure in place, focus on the end results you desire, rather than your immediate need to cut costs. In the end, hiring employees who perform at a high level and retaining them will dramatically improve your company’s bottom line.

Benefits Of Using Back Office Support Outsourcing Services
When noticing whether to outsource some main and important tasks of your business back office, there are some points that you have to keep in mind. Back office tasks are a significant part of any business and you want to make sure that all tasks are handled properly by someone. There are many benefits to back office support outsourcing once it’s done properly. Here are some points to keep in mind.
Concentrating on the Core Components of Your Business
One of the key advantages of back office support outsourcing is that by moving repetitive and time-consuming tasks to outsource firms, you’ll be able to concentrate on the core functions of your business. Rather than spending many hours on developing, presenting reports and crunching numbers, your employees will focus on core areas of business and take action on the finished products done by the professional staff of the outsourcing firm you hire.
Prompt Access to Services and Technology
Another main benefit of back office support outsourcing service is that you have instant access to different services and the latest technology in the field. Instead of spending a large amount of money in purchasing new software and hardware, you can outsource the main or some of the tasks that would need hardware and software to an overseas outsourcing firm.
Reduced Costs and Flexible Resource Management
One of the main benefits of back office support outsourcing is that you will spend less money on in-house tasks. Because an offshore outsourcing firm has trained their staff to handle specific tasks, so you can focus on some main tasks that your staff has been trained to perform and avoid hiring new employees or outsourcing domestically with higher costs. This will also give you greater flexibility in resource management, letting you make faster and better decisions about how to allocate labor and marketing budgets.
Potential for New Opportunities
Offshore outsourcing allows you to gain new opportunities in a variety of tasks and fields. Because by using this service your costs are lower, you can try to reduce your prices and deliver finished tasks faster, opening up new opportunities for you in markets around the globe. You can also develop innovative ideas for your business because you will have much more time to focus on growing your business and developing new products and services that fit the needs of your target market.
There are many benefits of using back office support services, from reduced costs to ensuring the work completed by those you outsource to do a good job.
