it's been so cold that i went and bought a bulky fake leather jacket because my old one's busted and i cannot cope with the nerve pain from the cold. felt like putting on my bulky winter coat today but it might be a tad too much
i'm starting to suspect that we won't get summer at all this year. it's just cold and raining the whole time, like when i visited the uk in the autumn a decade ago
it's just aah. not normal?
#why do i live up north where u cant be warm a single day in the year#with nerve pain that's triggered by cold lmao. bad choices!!#tbd

saw this dream where i went into the kitchen and my cat was impatiently waiting for me, hungry. and i went, oh, that's right, i haven't been feeding you!
he was pushing into my legs, and then i fed him.
and then i woke up, and i haven't fed him for 5 years, but some part of me still thinks i've just simply forgotten about it

alright though, i'm going to say that it did give me pause on how people watch movies.
like these two men watched this movie, thought it was good, but the point they came away with it was that Ennis was a dead beat loser who couldn't stick to his choices and should've gone after what he wanted, so it's all his fault why his life is what it is in the end
which is a mind-blowing conclusion to come to from watching a movie that absolutely drips out homophobia and how a homophobic society affects every single character around Jack and Ennis negatively. i haven't watched the movie in a decade, but i'm pretty sure Ennis is a traumatized gay man who can't be out because it would literally kill him. the tragedy of the story isn't made by him: it's made by the society around him. and how he survives being a gay man in society is the tragedy of it all in its abject grief and loneliness. and it makes me weep
so yeah. wow. we really do come from different places
randomly clicked on two straight guys watch brokeback mountain and ok it is pretty hilarious
"i can't see anything! turn up the lights, i wanna see! what's happening? is he plowing him?"
like alright, that scene is pretty dark tbh

My mum captured this and she told me it was even prettier in real.
