It's hard to have respect for anything two spirit, because I remember the 2010-12 Pocahontas post, that escaped the tumblr sphere and went on to revive that historical relic. It seems silly that tumblr posts popularized two spirit, which is portrayed as a sacred culture identity, but if you're been on tumblr from 2010-2014, you'll remember key posts that invented or popularized certain terms. What did you witness being invented/popularized/historically revised on tumblr? There should be universal stand-your-ground laws for female abuse victims. Once a man threatens your life and you have evidence of domestic abuse, you should be allowed to kill on sight with zero legal consequences the next time he comes to your house or place of work when you told him to stay away. Police are notoriously useless, even in first-world countries. When a man is stalking and harassing you, nobody cares until you're dead. Men who physically abuse women men are likely to eventually kill. How much more femicide are we supposed to take? Why should women just be sitting ducks waiting for their abuser to decide to kill them with no help from the police?
