heykittygirl:
the appearance of someone else seems to harden the officer’s resolve and with a disgruntled nod he makes a shooing motion for her to leave. “be sure to stay in the area, we may need a statement.” he grumbles, turning his back on them both. swallowing thickly, the blonde resists the urge to muster a sharp tongued retort and focuses instead on the confused looking sebastian. straightening her stance, heels click against the asphalt as she strides toward her friend. “honestly, it’s fine seb.” kitty nods, her face a mask of assurance. the last thing she needs is him asking too many questions. “just a guy i work with offering me a lift home; guess he’s mixed up in something bad - i don’t know.” the blonde lets out a weary sigh, appearing almost as if she’s disappointed in the behavior of her companion. “don’t suppose you’ve got another one of those ??” she nods towards his cigarette, a mischievous smile on her lips.

Sebastian didn’t buy Kitty’s story about the police, but it was clear that she didn’t want him to know that was going on, but in all honesty, he wasn’t that bothered. One of the things you learned quite quickly in Bone Hill was to mind your own business, and anything that was found out would become common knowledge soon enough.
“Sure.” he offered her the pack of cigarettes and let her take one. “I didn’t know you smoked?” he added. “So then, what’s your plan for the rest of the day? Call an Ambulance, get stuck in a fire? try and hit a hat-trick with the emergency services?” he taunted sarcastically.

sxxskias:
She walked hurriedly, quickening her pace to get them further away from the police questioning the junkie stopped outside her house. Seb moving to Bone Hill had surprised her. Her childhood crush, the older guy who she couldn’t help staring at at family events. Normally, she was turned off completely by the rich kids who hung around her parents friends. But Seb had always been a dream for her.
“I’m great,” she said, forcing a smile, her voice a little shaky. She hid it well, though. “No, it’s okay. I definitely like it,” she said, unable to hide her flirting. There was nothing about Saskia that was subtle. She had come a long way form the young girl Seb used to know her as. She was taller, her tongue sharper, legs longer.
“Just… Needed a walk. My apartment is so stuffy. Plus, you never know when it will lead to running into an incredibly handsome young man,” she teased him, knocking him with her elbow. “How are you adjusting to small town life? Are you bored out of your mind yet? I swear I’m gonna start picking fights with random people on the street just to entertain myself.”
Tumblr media
Sebastian matched the pace of the girl as they walked away from the police. The entire scene made him slightly anxious so was happy to be able to get away from it. The further away they got, the more comfortable he felt. “Glad that you’re good!” he smiled as they walked down the street together. He noticed that she was flirting slightly, but put it down to the comfortableness of a long friendship.
Looking at Saskia now, Seb would not have been able to tell it was the same girl that he had grown up with. She had changed, but in fairness, so had he. I guess everyone changed when the grew up, leaving the innocence of childhood behind for the regrets that mount up in adult life. People who say that they have no regrets in life are either a saint or lying, usually the latter; they just don’t like to admit the atrocities that they have performed because it makes it feel too real.
Sebastian was the kind of person that liked to feel everything. Pain, love, lust, heartbreak, sadness, happiness. He believed that the way to fulfilling the empty void that every possessed was to fill it with feeling, whatever that may be. Don’t try and shut things out. It was important to embrace every aspect of their feeble human existence. Maybe this was the reason he cried and sad films and films with dogs in them.
“I know what you mean about needing to get out, sitting in all day drives me mad.” He added, it was the truth. He couldn’t understand how some people could spend all day in couped up in the four walls of their homes. It didn’t make sense to him. He needed fresh air and sunlight, also, with the amount of junk food he seemed to consume, he also needed the gym.
At her next question, he thought back to his time in Bone Hill, he could not deny it was extraordinarily ordinary. Day-to-day life was monotonous. “I have to say- it’s quite nice to be bored, instead of having the pressure of attending function after function.” He nodded as he knew that Saskia would understand completely what he was on about. “Then again- sometimes I miss the drama, as long as I wasn’t involved in it, I found it pretty amusing.” The eye of his mind wondered through a sea of memories, taking him back to his time in New York.
“Do you remember that event we were both at, where that crazy blonde lady who was new money decided to act as though she had been brought up like us and decided to serve red wine- then went ballistic when someone spilled a drop on the carpet. I thought her head was going to explode.” It was nice to have someone to talk to about his life before, even though he hated the majority of it, it was the way he was brought up. Having Saskia to provide judgment-free nostalgia was one comfort that came with Bone Hill, some days he didn’t know how he would cope without it.
As they carried on walking, he turned to her and suggested that they go out for the day, get away. “Why don’t we just go for a meal or something, get some food or have a day out and get away. I’m not busy today, are you?” he questioned, he wouldn’t be offended if she were, It would be nice to spend some time with her as they hadn’t in so long. “Lunch is on me, of course.” He reassured her. He knew that she was fully capable of paying for herself, he was sure she had a sizeable trust fund just as he did, it was more courtesy.
“I don’t think we should take a town car, it might cause attention and end up in a newspaper. I haven’t appeared in a newspaper for 15 months, I looked the other day. It’s like i deserve a sobriety chip or something.” he jested. “I’ll even let you drive my Mercedes.” he added. He knew that she wouldn’t be able to resist that.

heykittygirl:
this is so not her day. folding her arms across her chest, she fixes the officer questioning her with an incredulous look. “is all of this really necessary ??” kitty throws an irritated glance at the horde of police cars surrounding her and creating a scene. they’re not actually here for her; they’re interested in the guy currently with his face pushed into the hood, wrists cuffed behind his back. a dealer. she already knew that. drugs play no part in kit’s life; she’s clean and never intends to be anything else. but dealers have money. so they make better customers. “come on, you can see i’ve got nothing on me. you can’t arrest me for knowing the guy.” the blonde murmurs to the cop, her tone pleading. he’s a regular at the club and neither of them want their history spreading to his colleagues; so she’s hoping he’ll let her off quickly.
he almost looks as though he’s about to relent when she hears a familiar voice interrupting them. turning on her heels, azure eyes fix upon the approaching figure. “sebastian ??” cheeks color scarlet, nervous forced smile rising on her lips. “everything’s fine. just a little misunderstanding.”
Tumblr media
Sebastian was confused when he saw Kitty, why would she be mixed up in anything like this with the police. He walked over to her, being a good friend to support her. “Hey, Kit, what’s going on? It doesn’t look fine!” his face contorted trying to understand what was actually happening in front of him.
Sebastian pulled out a cigarette and light it up, purely to do something with his hands and make him look a little less awkward around the surrounding police. He didn’t know how to act. “Are you being detained?” He questioned.

trumanwtf:
Truman was out walking Reggie, his brown pug, when he heard the sirens. Being the nosy person he was, he wandered over, wanting to see what was happening. From what he could gather - it was just a small and local drug bust, but he was sure it was going to end up in the local paper.
The professor heard footsteps behind him, but made no move to greet whomever it was, still attempting to focus in on what was being said between the officers and the arrested. It was only when he heard a voice that he turned to face it.
“I think it’s a drug bust..” Truman answered, shrugging his shoulders. “I haven’t been able to catch much, just snippets of the conversation here an there.”
Tumblr media
Sebastian nodded as the passerby spoke. “Yeah- knowing this town it was going to have something to do with drugs. Didn’t think the police would care this much though.” He replied. Sebastian stood next to the man, not looking like a singular in the eyes of the police- he would look less guilty if he was stood there with someone else.
“Cute dog.” he remarked on the brown pug, he squatted down to the dogs level and started fussing him. He did the thing that everyone who ever loved dogs does, he started making strange noises and pulling random faces in hope for some sort of reaction from the dog.

sxxskias:
Saskia had been feeling itchy, unsettled ever since returning to Bonehill from her travels abroad. Her new profession, something she had picked up why away, was doing a good job of providing her the thrill she needed. Although it didn’t come without a bit of danger. One of those dangers was the customers, people who knocked on her door at all hours of the night, unsavory characters. Today was no different, as Saskia had exited her apartment to find a burnt out drug addict she knew well being questioned by some cops, his suspicious behavior tipping them off.
Doing her best to avoid both the police and her customer as she exited the building, she bumped into Sebastian, not being able to stop the fluttery feeling in her stomach as she noticed her childhood crush. She not only noticed him, but noticed a way to escape the police without them noticing her. She smiled at Seb, a bright, casual smile.
“Hey, Seb! Oh, that guy? No fuckin’ clue,” she lied, shrugging her shoulders and steering them away form the cops, the boy serving as her cover. “You look good all sweaty. Very primal, and shit,” she joked at him, eyes looking him over.
Tumblr media
Seb was perplexed by the scene in front of him, he hadn’t seen this many police in the same place for a long time, he didn’t want to get mixed up in anything- he was happy with how quiet his life had been since moving to this small town. It was the reason he chose to attempt to build a life here, but he knew that he could never quite escape the reality of where he came from.
One thing that reminded him of this on a regular basis was Saskia, a friend he had through families his parents were close with from when he was younger. It was a surprise to him when he had seen her in Bone Hill the first time, he couldn’t believe it. He was paranoid at first, thinking it was some sort of ploy by his parents to get to him, but after lengthy conversations, he had realised that this was not the case, her being here was a decision of her own fruition, not that of their families Shakespearean-like planning.
He hadn’t notice her walking towards him, due to his fixation on the police scene enthralled in front of him. “Hey, Sask. you good?” he greeted her with a smile. She’d always been pleasant to him, although her family were part of the same elite that he came from and had grown to dislike in a way, but then again, you can’t choose your parents; and you most definitely can’t judge someone based on their heritage, imagine if people had done that to him.
He noted her comment about his sweat. “Uh- yeah- sorry about that. I kinda stink.” He had always felt comfortable around the girl. It was just her nature. “What’re you doing out and about then? Got anything planned for the day?” Sebastian hated the ideology behind small talk, but he always seemed to succumb to it, just due to its usefulness in everyday life.

Sebastian woke up to the repetitive sound of his alarm clock, resisting the temptation to throw the bastard thing at the wall he clambered out of his bed and made his way into the kitchen where his coffee machine had already poured a satisfying black liquid. He poured the liquid into his favourite mug and added cream and sugar. He needed to fuel this addiction before he could carry on with his day.
He donned his gym gear next. Putting his earphones in and click play on his favourite workout playlist, he made his way out of his apartment and started jogging in the direction of the gym.
He was in the zone, running to the beat of music that pounded in his ears. Further down the road he saw a collection of police cars accompanied by a   cacophony of sirens. They’d pulled over and seemed to be questioning an individual. Sebastian approached, not being able to look away..
“Oh? what’s going on then?” Sebastian questioned- the person he saw looked oddly familiar.
