Glenn Beck's Common Sense: The Case Against an Out-of-Control Government, Inspired by Thomas Paine. Found in Deseret Industries in Salt Lake City.
"No"
The feminine handwriting particularly fascinates me, as does this news article that was being used as a bookmark.

Hello, Happy! An Activity Book for Young People Who Sometimes Feel Sad or Angry by Dr. Sharie Coombs. Found in Deseret Industries in Salt Lake City.
"I Feel Small and Sad"
Best find of the day. I adore that this child drew over the hair on the illustrations so that they looked more like her. I'm also glad she got Meriam back from Toa's room, though I wish she hadn't had to turn his room upside down to find her.
I find the confused labelling of the faces in the second image to be particularly endearing. The one she eventually decided was "tired" is especially interesting, because that's extremely similar to the expression on the "tired" emoji, but not what I think the illustrator was going for originally.

How to Find Your Soulmate Without Losing Your Soul: 21 Secrets for Women by Crystalina and Jason Evert. Found in Deseret Industries in Salt Lake City.
"Be Picky!"
Signed by Jason Evert himself? I don't think this reader connected with the overtly-Christian messaging in this book, and the more I studied her notes, the more it seemed like she was underlining the things she didn't like. I also find her confusion regarding the footnotes so incredibly endearing.

The Wedding Book by Mindy Weiss, found in Deseret Industries in Salt Lake City. "The Perfectionist." Interestingly, it doesn't seem this bride finished the book, based on bookmarks (receipt from a tree farm, possibly dated 2012), creases, and a sudden drop-off in engagement with the material. I hope she went through with it, but the quiz answers aren't heartening.
