this australian guy wrote about the columbia protests when he was a student here. he hid his substack and deleted his social media apps before he went on a trip back to the US to visit friends. he was detained, interrogated extensively about palestine by two border patrol agents, then deported back to australia.

Silence equals complicity. If you didn’t vote for Harris and a Democratic Congress you share the blame for everything that is happening. Every knew from 2016 onwards that Trump was firing up his supporters to do all the horrible things that are happening all around us. You may be indirectly responsible but you still are complicit. Everyone knew this would continue and get worse. This MAGA behavior wasn’t a secret and it wasn’t isolated incidents, it was widespread and getting worse by the day. It was in the news 24/7/365.

You can still redeem yourself by voting in a Democratic Congress to mitigate the damage in the 2026 midterm elections and removing Trump and his remaining henchmen in 2028. You must go out and register to vote and then vote for every single Democrat on the ballot from local to state to Federal.
