hello how are you?

I tried putting in like two asks a while ago, but my internet was being funky, so I’m not sure if it got through.

i’m doing well!! i think i got those asks but i’ve been really mentally busy recently since summer ended so i haven’t gotten around to answering them. thanks for the reminder, though because i think i did genuinely Just Forget.

Since it’s just been you an me for a while, do you have anymore backstory for Skofnung?

hmmmmmm…

a lot of skofnung’s backstory is directly intertwined with icarus’ and i’d hate to retcon stuff that he has planned, but i always imagined their childhoods to be quite large and lonely.

since rory and conor were quite busy with their council stuff, i imagine that the house was occupied by the children who rather spent most of their times outdoors. and, yknow, wolves are social creatures! i think that since the dads spent so much time away and neglecting, a lot of the pack-bond went into the siblings—there’s a lot of more loyalty towards our siblings than towards our parents.

despite this - as you may have noticed - skofnung in particular seems to cling on tight to this perceived ideal of amazing parents—as opposed to icarus who’s sort of been through quite a bit more than skofnung.

even after everything icky’s told him, skofnung still wants to believe that his dads are good people, that they’ve just been in a rough spot, that maybe icarus has just got his facts wrong.

and this is not to say that plainly rory and conor are bad people! i prefer not to think in terms like “good” and “bad”. i just think that they have different priorities when it comes to family. to them, it’s more important to keep pushing and striving for more, where the kids feel that they’d much rather just have present parents.

I still want to canonize hybrid animals (like in cartoon Avatar)

there should be, at least, a cat-moose, a chinchilla-bat, and deer-moth, alongside mythical/legendary creatures.

I’d also like to summarize the plots so far:

Plot A: Bartender bartendering then estranged brother barges into bar and opens floodgates of madness, fake deaths, conspiracy and family drama.

Plot B: longtime patron and (possibly crazy) blackmail extraordinaire is given keys to Bartender’s Kingdom; plays tag. Likes to get under people’s skin? Right now is the Blazing Zephyr. May or may not fight said person.

Plot C: least crazy. Seems like an actual side plot in a show. Two people who don’t know anything, (one new to town, one dragged into the crazy/superhero hideyhole) follow around Person three (who knew, but didn’t expect) to a nice clothes shop. All have varying amounts of hybridity and trauma. Are just having a nice day on the town. —MMA

I check on Secret Swords often too. Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten it.

Eons walks over to Abandon, and scans the racks with cieyr eyes. “Hi again. Would you like, like to look around with me? While Echo is doing…whatever she’s doing?” Cieyr glances at them, with the mushrooms playing in his hair and then runs a hand over cieyrie’s secondary horns. “I, well, I quite like the idea of a cloak. But it, it never works well with, with me. What about you though? Do you—what do you like?”

Unfortunately I gotta come off anon for this, but I wanted to share the Minecraft skin Speakeasy Echo’s design is based off of! This is my standard OC I use in everything, so to hide my identity I used the altered version I made for a kind of glitch thing where she got desaturated. I did alter things from this design to how Echo is here.

In the Founder’s Guidance, the MultiCouncil HQ, there is are two large trees, the First Tree, is far larger than any other Old Growth on any other planet, and the largest thing there. It is even visible from space.

Rumors say that that’s the core of the world made known. Maybe that’s where the stories of the Tree of Life came to be.

The Second Tree, is far shorter, a sapling of the First Tree, perhaps, and tiny, compared to the First Tree, it has yet to surpass four stories.

Any one who harms or defaces the trees will face the wrath of The Founder, her Circle—the Second & the Assistant—, and the rest of the MultiCouncil.
