Jay Walker Headcanon:

Due to his electrical powers that operate as an internal battery, constantly supplying him with energy, he often doesn’t recognise when he’s physically tired and needs to sleep. This lead him to become an insomniac the longer he had his powers. Whenever he feels exhausted he tries to recharge himself by draining the electric from different appliances. Zane in particular dislikes this habit and constantly emphasises that as a human Jay needs adequate sleep and can’t just recharge himself like a nindroid.

Did some rudimentary calculations; assuming Zane was the ice emperor for around 60 years and the ninja took about two weeks to leave for the Never-Realm, the time conversion is roughly as follows:

1 minute Ninjago time = 1 day Never-Realm time

This falls apart slightly when you realize Wu and P.I.X.A.L.’s homeland debacle took, at most, 15 minutes in its entirety. Whether this is an issue with my estimations, an issue with the show’s timeline continuity, or if P.I.X.A.L. is just really good at speed-running monster battles is anyone’s guess.

i hc that richie lives with paul, but their house is too far from hatchetfield high, so paul needs to drive richie at school every morning. but paul starts his work earlier, so richie spends an extra hour there doing nothing before his first period

when max joined the group, he offered richie to drive him at school instead of paul because they live close. sometimes while paul is about to leave home max arrives and just hang outs with richie before school. or sometimes he sleeps

everyone: why is Zane acting so robotic this season?

zane in dr s1: [loses a look-alike contest to a bunch of people who are acting more robotic than he usually does, which clearly triggers his latent identity problems, then later ends up in a place where he's being treated as a literal object/tool by everyone around him, plus has a known history of repressing his emotions when going through grief or stress]
