The people I have shipped, yeah I know I was in a horror phase for a long time and I watched trollhunters when it came out, and don't worry I won't stop shipping Maui and Moana anytime soon, I can't draw sorry.

This scene is so funny, cause there’s so much going on
“They want my dog!”
“THERE’S NO NEED TO ALART THE AUTHORITIES!!-“ *steals the phone* “everything’s under control. 😊”
Meanwhile jumba is having a whole car thrown at him in the background.
“Oh good, my dog found the chainsaw.” Said with the kinda exasperation no child should have 😭

Moana 2
I first saw the trailer for the movie sometime last year, and between then and today, I had come across a few videos that apparently gave the movie negative reviews. Wanting to avoid spoilers, I, of course, refrained from watching any of those videos. The trailer already got me interested in the movie, and I wanted to form my own opinion. So, almost seven months after its initial release, I finally got around to seeing this movie.
Seeing that Moana had a much younger sister, Simea, I could tell that the movie had to have taken place at least a few years after the first one. I assumed that Moana was a teenager for most of the first movie, so I'm guessing that during the events of this movie, she was now in her late teens or twenties.
Moana's crew members were all entertaining to watch in their own ways. I was amused at how grumpy the old farmer Kele was, even questioning why the other people were singing during the beginning. Loto was smart, but often trying to make improvements to things. Moni was quite the Maui fanboy and good at reading artwork, as if it were literature. While they didn't always get along during the journey, they did eventually learn to work together as a team.
I remembered the Kakamora were quite hostile coconut-like pirates, and it was interesting to find out that they were disconnected from their home island because of the storm god Nalo. I was pleasantly surprised that the Kakamora actually helped Moana and her crew this time, with one Kakamora even joining the crew!
From what I remember seeing in the trailer, I assumed that Matangi was going to be the main antagonist. Plus, she was working with Nalo and captured Maui. When Matangi tried to convince Moana to find another way to the island Motufetu, I was afraid that she was manipulating her. But thankfully, that wasn't really the case.
And yes, it was a treat to watch Moana and Maui interact together again. Sure, Maui was still full of himself, but he acknowledged that Moana was a positive influence on him, encouraged her to keep going when she was about to give up, and showed genuine sadness when she was knocked out. I did not expect that Moana would gain tattoos while unconscious. I wonder if all demigods in the movie magically gain tattoos.
Surprisingly, Nalo himself didn't actually show up until the mid-credits scene, where he was planning his revenge and was about to punish Matangi for helping Moana. I was surprised to see the giant crab Tamatoa again, albeit without his shiny shell.
Even though some people may not have enjoyed this movie, I found it entertaining and even heartwarming at times.
