minseo was born in shanghai in 2002. she often visited her family in korea where she gained an interest in the idol industry. while still in school she decided to start going to various dance and vocal classes. while on a visit to her korean family, she decided to audition for a few companies. she got called back to 3, but ended up choosing orca and alter debuting in prism.

born in osaka, chiaki attended an all girls school where she sung in the choir. her parents saw her talent and decided to put her in vocal lessons. originally she wanted to be an actress but after discovering girl's generation around 2010 her dream quickly changed to being an idol. she flew to korea on vacation with her family where she decided to audition for orca in-person. thanks to her vocal abilities, she was accepted and made her debut in 2018.

eunji was born in london where she lived her whole childhood. She started writing songs, dancing and singing as a kid and was introduced to kpop by one of her older cousins. She auditioned for orca's first audition (mostly not as a serious thing) and was accepted. her parents contacted minseo's parents and eunji flew to korea where she lived with minseo's family up until her debut with prism in 2018.

born in incheon, sooyoung started ballet lessons at 7 years old but switched to general dance lessons pretty early on. she started dancing at various dance studios and was scouted by an orca agent around 2016. she then joins orca where she starts her vocal lessons while still attending school and regular dance classes. in 2018 she made her debut as a prism member.

kim naeun was born on january 7th, 1999 in seoul to two young parents. from a young age she enjoyed dancing and was enrolled into ballet classes. in 2014 she auditioned at jyp entertainment, where she trained for 2 years. in 2016 the company decided to send her to produce 101. despite being relatively popular she ended up placing 13th in the finale. after the show aired, it was leaked that jype rigged naeun out of the final lineup, in order to promote their upcoming girl group. shortly after the scandal, naeun left the company and was scouted by orca's ceo. she joined orca in early 2017, becoming a member of orcaz and later prism.
