thinking about your ingvarrian swear posts and having the thought of hugo developing a crush and when they fight he throws in some sweet pet names too bc he's so frustrated at himself for liking this guy and letting it out during their verbal matches is the only way he can get any kind of release

which eventually results in them having a fight with varian starting it off by calling him something like My Darling or Sweet or Cute and throws hugo off the entire day

guys guys lemme ramble a bit here ok-

so the past few days I've been thinking nonstop about Hugo's metal arm guards around his forearms and how I think he'd use them defensively in close range fights. They're honestly probably my favorite part of his design I love them so much I can definitely imagine a scenario where the gang gets caught in a scuffle with large thugs and he uses the arm guards to block attacks from their swords/daggers etc...

Him using them to deflect the blow and throw off the attackers aim before whipping around and hitting them back just seems so cool to me hdjfskdfs

i've been thinking about how crazy reading about rapunzel's reign in coronan history books would be. *especially* if uknighted dream was canon

this princess, who was kidnapped as a baby and held captive until being brought home by a wanted criminal on her 18th birthday. this criminal was later dubbed king eugene after the two got married, but he also happened to be the long lost prince of the dark kingdom which was abandoned when he was a baby. he later helps his father, king edmund, restore his kingdom and as he was the only heir, he ended up being the king of both kingdoms. his first act as king of the dark kingdom was to legally change his name from horace to eugene.

the princess herself was... rather odd. she insisted on being barefoot no matter the circumstances, had a pet reptile (sources conflict whether it was a frog or a chameleon), and her weapon of choice was a frying pan. she was known for her overwhelming generosity and a hands-on approach to her rule. there are rumours that for a time she had over 70 feet of golden hair.

as queen, she was the first to pass a law allowing same-sex and polygamous marriage.

right. that brings us to the other ruler during this time, queen cassandra. she was originally princess' rapunzel's lady-in-waiting, before later nearly felling the kingdom with the help of an individual called zhan tiri. not much is known about these events, and if it wasn't for the evidence of corona repairing many of their buildings during this time period, it'd likely be dismissed as complete legend. either way, queen rapunzel and king eugene later insisted to marry cassandra as well, which led to a major restructuring of corona's political system.

they were well loved by their people, even despite their unconventional reign.

and it's said they lived happily ever after.

Varigo Headcanon!

One of the original posts about Hugo said that his glasses had runes that could let him see enchanted objects. I thought I'd take this, but instead of his glasses, it was his goggles, which gave him an excuse to wear them more often.

How is this Varigo? Well, what if when Varian and Hugo are working together on something, Hugo sees a little glow of blue around Varian, mainly his hair and eyes. He asks about it and Varian explains his slight connection to the moonstone (another thing I headcanon). Much later, after Hugo starts coming to terms with his feelings for Varian, he starts to call him "Moonlight" as a nickname

I don't know how to explain things but like we all need wholesome Varigo in our lives I think
