Uhm. Their name is Moctezuma, shortened to "Tezuma" 99.9% of the time! Wanted to stick with the whole 'names from history' thing I noticed in the show and wanted to tie back to my roots somehow :>

Fun fact I learned when looking up "Tezuma" to see if there were any meanings bc I am a name nerd:

Tezuma translates, from what I understand, into "sleight of hand", and is a magic conducted in Japanese style, where components of traditional dance and other classic arts are preserved in the performance.

This is fantastic bc A) racoon pffft and B) I was already thinking of lil Tezzie here being a (semi-reformed) thief and street magician with delicate, clever hands that Gohin puts to work after picking her up off the streets via teaching her how to suture, apply first aid, etc. so they can tend to all the patients too small for Gohin himself to feel comfortable handling ♡!!

Also they're Hella autistic as the memey title mentions lol and use sign language or a pencil pad 90% of the time to communicate, only ever really talking if it's life or death or they have no other ways of communicating, or they feel emotionally safe talking to the person. Since she's a racc, she's an omnivore but prefers fruit/veg/eggs and fish/seafood overall due to their coastal upbringing over red meat. Also sarcasm? Tezuma doesn't know her. Please don't use it with them they'll take you seriously pfft

They grew up on the coast and thus speak Oceanic, which is super convenient for Legoshi when his sea lion neighbor isn't available to help him. While working his delivery job he just swings by Gohin's to have Tezuma help him learn and translate for him!

Personality wise, theyre very polite and kind, earnest, gullable with friends and wary around strangers, street and book smart, punctual, and helpful! They can be a bit judgemental, mischievous, and reckless. Rarely angry and low-key terrifying when actually angry-- is more in touch with her base animal instincts side than the typical person due to living in isolation in the wilderness for a majority of their childhood.

This little guy fights btw. They fight dirty tho and will go straight for the eyes or ankle in a fight. Good with a knife, and is great at catching Intel.

Regarding the herbivore vs carnivore societal debate they are more on the side of thinking that coexisting peacefully is achievable and support Legoshi (that big wolf is their unofficial son).

With Gohin, I see Moctezuma already living with him long before Legoshi shows up at his door; he earned her trust and coaxed her to stay, let them prove themself useful by learning the medical ropes. Since day one he's impressed with their moxie, kindness, and quick responses, and is first drawn to them via their hands. Absolutely enamoured with her hands actually, it's his favourite thing about her. Spends several minutes a day sneaking glances to watch them do things with their hands ♡

Please imagine your Platonic f/o's caller I.D. showing up on your phone. You pick it up, confused about the random call but happy to hear from them nonetheless but before you can say anything they speak first.

Ok I’ve seen a lot of romantic-based sick f/o imagines, but consider:

Calling your platonic f/o to let them know you can’t make it to hang out, and them insisting on coming over- even if you tell them not to so they don’t catch it.

Maybe they’ve come over to take care of you, or maybe they’re just a clingy friend who wants to see you so bad they don’t care about getting sick.

Will they keep a safe distance? Pull out a ruler and measure two meters away? Or sit really close next to you on the couch and rest their chin on your shoulder like nothing’s wrong, even if you try to push them back for their own safety (silly)

Whatever form it takes, they’ll keep you company and make sure you’re fed/ had enough to drink (even if this is in the form of using your card to buy takeout)

Howdy, uhhhh selfship community? I know this doesn't apply to the vast majority of you, I know, trust me, but I just gotta say it:

Do not send hateful, nasty, judgemental, gross, racist, etc. comments to folks' ask boxes! There is NEVER a good reason to do that!

If you ain't got nothing nice to say, and wanna say some nasty stuff to someone, here's a hot simple 3 step tip:

1. don't say anything at all. Stay out of their ask box.

2. Move on with your life. Put down your phone, step away from the computer.

3. Get some therapy. Seriously. You already did the first step of not saying anything and moving on. Huge steps! Genuinely proud of you for not following through! Now get therapy because you were so close to hurting someone else! Why? Why were you?

You never know what people are going through. You never know the emotional/physical/mental/life struggles they're enduring. You never know the true damage you can deal to someone's mental health. You aren't owed that knowledge- nobody owes you that knowledge.

Be kind to each other or for goodness' sake, if you can't, then just leave each other alone.
