oh this is a tough one to answer, actually. when we look at 2.2, we learn that robin has always upheld this belief that everyone should be allowed to be free to fly, even if they crash and burn, much like the charmony bird that she and sunday found as children. even she herself feels caged as the star of penacony, always singing and dancing for the people but never herself.

as time goes on? she still upholds that belief that people deserve to be free, but the "freedom" her brother is trying to implement with the dreamscape, the never-ending dream, it in itself a cage made to protect from all suffering.

in short? her beliefs haven't really changed, but it's how she implements these beliefs that has changed over time.

to robin, the most good and righteous thing another person can embody is not only a free spirit, but a sense of empathy as well. you can have a free spirit that no one can tame all you want, but without empathy for others, you become egotistical and only care about how you're doing in the world. to her, you have to have both to be good and righteous.
