Charges Dropped Against Man Claiming Officers Planted Drugs On Him
internet advertising
  Tom Jones WSB-TV March 8, 2013
A man who claims a police officer planted drugs on him will have the charges dismissed one day before his case was set to go to trial.
But the DeKalb County Solicitor General’s Office said the dismissal has nothing to do with a surveillance video Alphonzo Eleby said proves the officer set him up.
Eleby said his nightmare began in July 2012 at the Chevron gas station on North Hairston Road.
He said he stopped to speak to someone who was sitting in a black SUV when an officer said he smelled marijuana and arrested the driver on charges of marijuana possession with intent to distribute.

Phoenicians discovered America 2000 years before Columbus?
From: Phenomenica
Columbus, credited with the discovery of Americas, may not have been the first to set foot on the continent, says a British explorer, claiming that Phoenicians actually beat him by 2,000 years.
Christopher Columbus, the poster boy Renaissance explorer found fame and fortune by sailing from the Old World to the New, crossing the great unknown waters between Spain and the Caribbean in 1492.
In an ambitious voyage that could challenge maritime history, former Royal Navy officer Philip Beale hopes to sail a replica Phoenician boat 10,000 kilometres across the Atlantic.
Beale aims to demonstrate that the Phoenicians a Semitic civilisation that prospered between 1500BC and 300BC on the Mediterranean coast sailed to the Americas first, CNN reported.
It is one of the greatest voyages of mankind and if anyone could have done it [before Columbus], it was the Phoenicians, said Beale.
Of all the ancient civilisations they were the greatest seafarers Lebanon had cedar trees perfect for building strong boats, they were the first to use iron nails, and they had knowledge of astrology and currents, he said.
The prospect of sailing a 50-ton wooden vessel identical to those built 2,600 years ago across the Atlantic might appear foolhardy.
However, Beale has already sailed the replica boat named The Phoenician around Africa in 2010, in a bid to demonstrate the ancient civilisation had the capability to circumnavigate the continent 2,000 years before the first recorded European, Bartolomeu Dias, in 1488.
The replica boat is seen here arriving in Cape Town, South Africa. The crew battled everything from six-meter waves to pirates during the incredible journey. Source: CNN The Phoenician boat covered 32,000 kilometres over two years, setting sail from Syria in 2008, battling everything from six-meter waves off the Cape of Good Hope to Somali pirates. It wasnt the first time Beale recreated history. In 2003 he sailed a replica 8th century Indonesian vessel, known as a Barobudur ship, 19,000 kilometers from Jakarta to Ghana. Source: CNN [...]

US-British Al Qaeda Airlift: 3,000 Tons of Weapons Fuel Syria's Destruction
It turns out, however, according the London Telegraph, that the US and Britain have already been arming terrorists operating in Syria for some time, including a massive airlift of 3,000 tons of weapons, sent across Syria’s borders with Jordan and NATO-member Turkey. In the Telegraph’s article titled, “US and Europe in ‘major airlift of arms to Syrian rebels through Zagreb’,” it is reported:
With so much admitted involvement in the violence aimed at overthrowing Syria’s government by the West, it is inconceivable that Al Qaeda could be “overrunning moderate forces” in Syria, unless of course, no such moderate forces exist, and the West had planned from the beginning to use Al Qaeda as a mercenary force. And indeed, that is precisely what is happening. It has been established with documented evidence since at least 2007, and reaffirmed with this latest report.
Pulitizer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh, in his 2007 New Yorker report titled, “The Redirection: Is the Administration’s new policy benefiting our enemies in the war on terrorism?“stated explicitly that:
“To undermine Iran, which is predominantly Shiite, the Bush Administration has decided, in effect, to reconfigure its priorities in the Middle East. In Lebanon, the Administration has coöperated with Saudi Arabia’s government, which is Sunni, in clandestine operations that are intended to weaken Hezbollah, the Shiite organization that is backed by Iran. The U.S. has also taken part in clandestine operations aimed at Iran and its ally Syria. A by-product of these activities has been the bolstering of Sunni extremist groups that espouse a militant vision of Islam and are hostile to America and sympathetic to Al Qaeda.”
Is there any doubt that the US has executed this plot in earnest, arming and funding sectarian extremists “sympathetic to Al Qaeda” on both Syria’s northern and southern border? Where else, if not from the West and its regional allies, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, could extremists be getting their weapons, cash, and logistical support from?
And of course, Syria’s borders with Jordan and Turkey have been long-ago identified by the US Army’s own West Point Combating Terrorism Center (CTC) as hotbeds of sectarian extremist/Al Qaeda activity – hotbeds that the West is purposefully funneling thousands of tons of weaponry through, while disingenuously claiming it is attempting to prevent such weapons from falling into the hands of extremists.
The CTC’s 2007 report, “Al-Qa’ida’s Foreign Fighters in Iraq,” identified Syria’s southeastern region near Dayr Al-Zawr on the Iraqi-Syrian border, the northwestern region of Idlib near the Turkish-Syrian border, and Dar’a in the south near the Jordanian-Syrian border, as having produced the majority of fighters found crossing over into Iraq throughout the duration of the Iraq War.
Image: (Left) West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center’s 2007 report, “Al-Qa’ida’s Foreign Fighters in Iraq” indicated which areas in Syria Al Qaeda fighters filtering into Iraq came from during the US invasion/occupation. The overwhelming majority of them came from Dayr Al-Zawr in Syria’s southeast, Idlib in the north near the Turkish-Syrian border, and Dar’a in the south near the Jordanian-Syrian border. (Right) A map indicating the epicenters of violence in Syria indicate that the exact same hotbeds for Al Qaeda in 2007, now serve as the epicenters of so-called “pro-democracy fighters.” These areas are now admittedly the epicenters of fighting, and more importantly, despite being historical hotbeds of Al Qaeda activity, precisely where the West is flooding with cash, weapons, and military “advisers.” Just like in Libya where the West literally handed an entire nation to sectarian extremists, we are watching a verbatim repeat in Syria – where we are told Al Qaeda terrorists are “pro-democracy” “freedom fighters” that deserve US cash, weapons, and support, when it couldn’t be any clearer they aren’t.
Not only has the US and UK lied to the world about their policy toward Syria and their current level of support for increasingly overt terrorists committing an array of atrocities – their latest act including the taking of over 20 UN peacekeepers hostage in the Golan Heights – but have revealed once again the manufactured facade that is the “War on Terror.”

A meteor streaked across the sky and exploded over Russias Ural Mountains with the power of an atomic bomb Friday, its sonic blasts shattering countless windows and injuring nearly 1,000 people. The spectacle deeply frightened many Russians, with some elderly women declaring that the world was coming to an end. The meteor estimated to be about 10 tons entered the Earths atmosphere at a hypersonic speed of at least 54,000 kph and shattered into pieces about 30-50 kilometres above the ground, the Russian Academy of Sciences said in a statement. Amateur video broadcast on Russian television showed an object speeding across the sky about 9:20 a.m. local time, just after sunrise, leaving a thick white contrail and an intense flash. A Russian health official says nearly 1,000 people have sought help for injuries.

No one has the right to tell you, you can’t publish a book because you might libel somebody. Nobody tells you, you can’t own an automobile because there might be an accident. And nobody should tell you, you can’t own a gun because it might be misused.
If somebody is libel, they have recourse in the courts. If somebody causes an accident with an automobile, this can be dealt with in the courts. The same way with a gun. If a gun is misused, it should be dealt with in the courts.
Unfortunately, government doesn’t enforce the law against those individuals who commit violent crimes. 70 percent of the crimes in this country are committed by individuals who have prior criminal records.
This gun sure looks deadly, but it’s not the least bit deadly unless I point it at someone and pull the trigger.
In the words of Thomas Jefferson, he said that we were “endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights,” and among those rights is our right to defend ourselves, defend our family, and to defend our property.
Unfortunately, in every society, there are those individuals who will resort to force to get what they want. It’s impossible to have a policeman on every corner to protect us, so; therefore, it is very important that we maintain the right to defend ourselves.
I think it’s important that we look at the Second Amendment in the context of the entire Bill of Rights. Our freedoms are based on a philosophy called the Libertarian philosophy. That means we have a right to own anything we want, including guns, as long as we harm no other person.
The Constitution gives us that right. The best way to protect that right is to exercise it. If we sacrifice our liberty in the pursuit of safety, we’ll lose our safety and our liberty.
