"If the whole world was blind, who would you impress?"

There are so many beautiful people. Beautiful people with beautiful hair, beautiful bodies, beautiful wardrobes.  But they lack substance.  A true being in which they flourish.

Many of these "beautiful people" will claim intelligence, humor, or wit.  But the truth is, and with no other way to eloquently put it - they ain't got shit.

Remove the makeup, gain 40-50lbs (in all the wrong places), and lose all of your fashion sense.  Take a step into a crowded room.  If you can mesmerize the people in it in the exact way you would have as your former self, you have my respect.  

I am not blind to society's quick judge of character.  I am not blind to, despite the old and most familiar adage "never judge a book by its character" that we will forever do exactly that.  But stop and think for a moment, "If the whole world was blind, who would you impress?"

Even as a fan of all things musical, I still more than often need several listens to a song before it becomes part of my rotation.  

This morning was the first time I heard this song. Immediately, I was drawn to the slow melodic piano introduction that to me was the perfect foreshadow into the upbeat chorus. In those cases, the excitement of what to come always provides for a great song. Not only that, her voice is enticing! And enchanting! 

I encourage a listen! It's a beautiful combination of pop & techno.  On top of that? The lyrics are what I like to refer to as multi-faceted - the interpretation is endless!
