⌛️Brushstrokes of Fate ⏳️

The soft scent of ink and fresh paper filled the small art studio as Mizu dipped her brush into the deep red paint. Beside her, Michiru giggled, dabbing her brush into black paint and twirling it playfully between her fingers. They sat hunched over the canvas, their strokes precise yet alive with emotion, as Gaara’s piercing gaze slowly emerged from the painting.

“You really captured his expression, Mizu,” Michiru murmured, eyes flickering between the canvas and the red-haired man standing near the window.

Gaara had been observing them for some time, watching in quiet fascination as the girls worked in tandem, painting his likeness with a care he wasn’t accustomed to. His world had long been one of sand, solitude, and silence. Yet here, in this small studio, surrounded by the swirls of color and soft laughter, something felt different.

“Do you think he likes it?” Mizu asked softly, lifting her brush from the canvas.

Michiru, always the daring one, turned toward Gaara with a cheeky smile. “Well, Lord Kazekage? Is it up to your standards?”

Gaara stepped forward, his sharp eyes scanning the unfinished painting. His fingers twitched slightly at his side, as if hesitating, before finally reaching out.

Instead of words, he responded with action. He reached for Mizus brush and dipped it into the paint, tracing a silent, careful stroke over both girls cheeks. A single movement—just enough to blend red into the cream-like hues of the girls skin tones. The japanese Kanji for "Love" now painted on each girls face just like the one that was nestled on his own skin.

Mizu and Michiru exchanged wide-eyed glances before bursting into laughter.

“You should paint with us more often,” Michiru grinned.

Gaara looked at the brush in his hand, now stained with color, and then back at the two girls.

Maybe, he thought, just maybe, art was another way to create bonds—not through words, but through shared brushstrokes of fate.

I don't have a defined style, I like to use the style of the artists I like, in this case Hikanon's style is one of my favourites and I wanted to emulate her SoD by redrawing an old LeeGaa fan art from my gallery.

When my father passed away, Hikanon's LeeGaa drawings helped me to get out of my depression a little bit, so I am particularly fan of her style.

Well what should I say? Gaara is King of consent 😚💕

Gaara always makes sure whatever he is doing, even if its just a hug or kiss, Michiru is okay with. He's just the sweetest boyfriend.

But it's also because he has no experience with love and doesn't want to hurt his loved one.

This scene takes place on a morning before Gaara leaves for work both lovers share a sweet, passionate kiss. Michiru woke up early to prepare a meal for Gaara as he tends to neglects them. And as she isn't a morning bird, she's going back to sleep just right after Gaara leaved 🤣💕

Some small Gaara x Michiru Headcanons

Gaara isn’t one who’s much into PDA. He wouldn’t want to draw attention to his relationship with Michiru often, but every now and then he might hold her hand during a walk when the two of them are alone.

It took a while until Gaara could open up enough to her in their relationship until he could allow himself to the simpliest things such as holding hands. Love is still new to him but as Michiru is patient and understanding she don’t mind giving her precious person time. Especially after she went through the abuse of the fiance she had.  PDA even did make him uncomfortable in the beginning but Michiru is the type who  goes slow and give him his needed space and time.

Michiru is quite social and chatty and through that could get Gaara out of his shell as she don’t mind to start a majority of their conversations. She is gentle and kind, always making sure he won’t skip his meals as he is very busy as Kazekage, she makes sure he still has time for himself just relaxing for not getting stressed or giving him a good time in his free time.
