So, I really liked Midsommar…. and yes, I’ve always found Klimt’s The Kiss to be vaguely creepy. My background game is weak, but just imagine them at the edge of, you know… a cliff…
It never fails to amaze me how wickedly charming Pelle’s subtle smile is when Dani asks him what happens at 72. He knows exactly what Dani will have to witness very soon and what it will do to her, yet he jokes about it in an almost dismissive manner while knowingly and misteriously smiling at her naive ignorance. It’s pretty dark when you consider the fact that he deliberately chose not to prepare her for this event whatsoever. This is where his “not nice” side is showing, and I love it so very much.
Also Josh and, especially, Christian standing beside Pelle while he’s making a cutthroat gesture can be considered as a little hint at what’s to come. ;)
