GOT7 as sexual partners analysis

I was asked on curiouscat what I’d think of GOT7 as sexual partners and the analysis became so long that I have to post it here again fdnsdmdmsn

I would think Jaebum very vanilla, someone who doesn't really care to experiment and is kind of opposed at first if their bed partner wants to try even just a bit something new, but I'd think he'd try his hardest to be a considerate lover and that the other person gets their pleasure too, although I could also see him as someone who would not realize if the other person doesn't… And then feel bad about it. I think his sex-having ego would be rather fragile, so teaching about pleasure would have to be very gentle and patient :')

Mark… I'd think Mark would be someone who wouldn't make a big deal about sex? Like I'd deem him someone who might fall into a friends-with-benefits situation even if he had feelings, because I'd think he could view sex and love as separate (hello this is why I have several fics like this lol)… I think Mark a man of action rather than words, and I'd think he'd be a genuinely considerate lover, and ready for experiments although I wouldn't think him to have many kinks… Probably having sex in various places, playing with getting caught.

Jackson I'd put as someone who tries their HARDEST to please the other person by going above and way beyond in a way that makes it all /too/ much. I'd peg him as someone who has a really hard time talking about sex and express his own wishes, expecting the other to do as much guessing as he does, and this would lead to misunderstandings. I would also think him to be everything but vanilla, and I'd guess him as someone who tends to be a bit submissive, sorry all those who only see him as a top haha but that's not my view. I mean he can top and probably will want to switch things around here and there, but sometimes he'd want to just be tossed around, tied up and edged and told he's a good boy.

Jinyoungie. I'd think he would be someone who is experienced and just a really good lover, knowing exactly what he's doing? I don't expect him to be completely vanilla, but I wouldn't think him to have any very specific kinks. idk just a master of pleasure who is good at reading the other person, good at communicating with like,,, WORDS,,, and good at making the other person feel good. He could easily adjust to wishes and go along with kinks and everything.

Youngjae my little freak. He's a pervert istg but probably embarrassed about it and not that vocal about it at first, but he is and eventually it'd come up because I think he would get super bored with vanilla sex very quickly, although he'd try to stick with that in the beginning to not scare the other person off.

I see Bambam as someone very sensual and a person who really likes to please the other person during sex, and spends a lot of time worrying about it, but I think he'll also be smart enough to ask about if something is working or not or if his partner wants something else. I’d think him to be very flexible regarding sex and unafraid to try new things. I also don’t think he’d be embarrassed about sex or talking about it, only careful when he’s afraid he’s hurt someone or their feelings or afraid of not doing well.

Yugyeom is another cute little vanilla bean who gets embarrassed talking about sex. I think he’s eager to please, but talking about sex is hard, and he’s kind of stiff trying things that are new to him, although within his typical sphere he might be adventurous in at least the location of sex and so forth. A very enthusiastic lover, but doesn’t know what he’s doing, /but/ he’s enthusiastic and eager to please and learns quickly.

if you had to put other groups in the position of got7, like how you’ve got BTS and Taehyung in almost the same thing as Jackson, who would you have as the master and the rest of the servants??

For BTS in my original design in which I didn’t know them that much I put Namjoon, Taehyung and Yoongi as Masters. With my current knowledge, if I had to choose one Master and the rest being servants for a similar setting as Playhouse, hmm. Kind of depends if I’d go with my original vision of Playhouse which totally didn’t work out or not, tbh, because for my original vision I should have chosen Jaebum as the Master :D

For a Jaebum-like Master experience I would choose maybe Seokjin… Or Yoongi.

For a Jackson-like Master experience I would more likely choose Jimin or Jungkook as the Master.

idk if I know other groups well enough to do a similar analysis. From EXO if I split them into EXO-M and EXO-K houses just to have it make some sense.

For the Jaebum-like Master of EXO-K I’d choose perhaps Jongin, or Kyungsoo, or even Sehun.

For a Jackson-like Master of EXO-K IIIII don’t know if there would be anything similar? So I say none of them? Or if I must, Chanyeol?

For a Jaebum-like Master of EXO-M, Kris or Minseok.

For a Jackson-like Master of EXO-M, Luhan I guess? I don’t know.

In this essay I will, a.k.a. GOT7 personalities as viewed by me

I was asked on curiouscat how I see GOT7’s personalities, but the character limit did not allow me to say what I wanted, so I made this. Hope it’s some interest to you? Don’t read anything into how lengthy each description is, I was distracted while doing this by a lot of things. Also don’t read anything into not mentioning some trait for all the members, I just tried to pick out things that stand out to me for each, and the lack of a mention of something does not mean the lack of it in general.

Mark is someone who thinks very carefully about their image and what they say, and who acts carefully and in a very considerate way in social situations. When he's comfortable, he's playful. I see him as someone who is level-headed and patient, someone who can appreciate silence, someone who thinks before they act. He's "quiet" because he observes a lot, and he doesn't like saying things that are worthwhile, and he doesn’t find himself as good with words as e.g. Jinyoung. The way Mark observes people makes it that he also notices things very well, and understands people very well. Mark doesn’t need nor does he particularly want attention on himself. He will always put others first. Mark works diligently, always seeking to improve himself, but he doesn’t ask or need credit for his own achievements, not needing or demanding anything for himself specifically, fine with fading into the background. However, he doesn’t discredit his own hard work or downplay it, he just never emphasizes it, naturally humble. This makes it that although he seeks to improve himself, he doesn’t look badly on how good he is right now, as a contrast to Jackson.

Mark has confidence, but not in overabundance. Because of the confidence, Mark doesn't feel the need to act cool or like anything that he isn't – he's cute and he embraces it, unlike Bambam who often wants to prove something. Mark doesn't make hasty decisions… usually, but he’s kind of impulsive at the same time, which is an interesting combination?? He’s a little adrenaline junkie, not afraid of putting himself in new or weird situations. He can get annoyed/angry very quickly, and he is not above sulking, although he doesn’t do it as obviously as e.g. Jackson. He gets hurt quietly, and bears it without making a fuss about himself. Mark is also loyal to a fault, but not naive. He’s unafraid to show affection and unafraid to cry when he gets emotional, and he gets emotional about the things he cares about.

Jaebum to me is a bit of a paradox, because on one hand he's mature and can act very level-headed when needed, but he's also very easy to get excited/playful or embarrassed, the latter of which he likes to play off as a temper, although he isn't actually angry. However, he is very competitive, and dislikes losing. He's a dork, really, embarrassing himself easily. A whole goof, going along with the others goofing around (really, Jinyoung is the only sane one). He also loves affection, but acts like he doesn’t like it, want it or need it. Jaebum just tries to play cool and mysterious and whatever, because that’s the type of person he wants to be. He is naturally manly but he also emphasizes it. Jaebum values comfort, wants to be comfortable, loves food and sleep, doesn't give too many fucks about what people think about him, since he has confidence in himself either way. He’s a person who is headstrong in what he wants, although he will take care not to hurt others with it. Similar to Mark, Jaebum does not feel the need to emphasize his skills, as similar to Jinyoung, he has confidence in what and who he is, and confidently pursues that, although he isn’t perhaps as ambitious as some of the others. Which is interesting, combined with how competitive he is.

A lot of how we see Jaebum is because of his role as the leader and the hyung, but in a different age-dynamic I think he is more of a cute dork than the responsible hyung he tries so hard to be. He feels the responsibility very acutely, and takes his role seriously. Interestingly enough, Jaebum is jealous of things in the way that makes him keep some things private simply because he wants to keep them for himself. He is very passionate about things.

Jackson. Oh, dear Jackson. He is someone who is half bravado – he tries to act like people expect him to, he tries to make every situation fun because it's what is expected of him, and he is very self-conscious and self-critical. He is very social and extroverted and doesn't get easily embarrassed. He hides his self-conscious self under that bravado, but under all that he is someone who feels responsibility very acutely, who always strives to be better although he is already so, so good, more than enough. He is naive in a way that has gotten him hurt. He gets hurt very easily, as he is very susceptible to critic and nasty words, although he has learned to take critic well as a means to improve (fencing on a national level). Jackson is not one to get easily angry, but he will get upset and he will remain petty forever if allowed to do so, and he will lash out when he gets upset by saying things he doesn’t probably mean, not realizing how much he hurts others.

Jackson’s lack of confidence makes him yearn for praise, and he gets pouty/sulky/annoyed very easily when he doesn’t get the praise or attention that he wants, and resigns himself that he or what he wanted wasn’t important anyway. This makes it that he easily gets talked over, because he will give the room for others, since he is very considerate and polite towards other people. Jackson doesn’t want to take too much space, he just wants to make others comfortable by making the fool out of himself, so others don’t have to. He isn’t very competitive for himself, but he is very protective of those he perceives as his own (e.g. when GOT7 competes against others). This is a curious mix because he wants to be always better, and he is very ambitious, but he doesn’t actually care if he loses in a game or something. He just isn’t satisfied with how good he is, ever.

Jackson is someone who needs his own space, someone who needs quiet to think, and he gets too easily stuck in negative thoughts. He doesn’t really need or want to be alone for long times. In social situations he acts often before he thinks, an opposite to Mark. He's charming and really really cute, and now that he has matured a little more, he doesn’t put up that super manly act that much anymore, which is lovely, because he should embrace his natural cuteness. He gets a little bashful, especially when praised or something that he’s happy about happens. However, Jackson is not shy at all. He’s naturally loud, but there’s a lot more beyond just his funny and extroverted personality.

Jinyoung a.k.a. The only sane one of the bunch-- no but more seriously, Jinyoung has been very mature from a very early age. Similar to Mark, he is level-headed, patient and very thoughtful, always conscious of his image. He is very focused on improving himself in every aspect, and although he is self-critical, he isn’t as extreme as Jackson is, and Jinyoung has a very steady confidence in himself. He appreciates silence, like Mark does, but fills it much more easily, as he is excellent at finding something good and intellectual to say in any situation. He’s the most well-spoken of the bunch. He just doesn’t feel the need to fill every silence like Jackson does. He has found who he is and who he wants to be, and he confidently does what he wants to do, following his own principles and not selling them for anything. However, he remains very humble in a way that he is not arrogant and wanting to be polite, but he doesn’t do it to downplay his achievements like Jackson does.

I really appreciate Jinyoung’s type of snarky dry humour. He likes to play up getting sulky about something that someone else said just to make a point, it’s his way of acting cute and getting his way. He gives off the image that he doesn’t actually believe what he’s saying when he acts sulky, he’s just playing with everyone’s hearts because he’s a sneaky bastard and when he puts it that way, everyone else just has to feel bad or come off as an asshole :D However, he is petty in a way that he won’t let things slide and that he will keep bringing up old feuds, although the latter is maybe mostly something he learned from Jackson. On the other hand, Jinyoung can get embarrassed quite easily, but he can endure it much better than the others, going along with e.g. the stuff that Jackson pulls although he’s embarrassed.

Youngjae is a perverted little ray of sunshine. He’s a goof like Jaebum, but he doesn’t even try to act like anything else. He’s similar to Jackson in the way that he’s loud but self-conscious of himself, although, as I’ve repeated many times already, not as extreme as Jackson, because no one is quite as extreme as Jackson. He’ll constantly worry about and work on his singing, wanting to be better in that more than anything else, because he just LOVES singing so much he couldn’t have been anything else than a singer. Youngjae is also a little naive, and gets easily hurt by critic and nasty words. He’s the kind to hide his pain and suffer alone, because he doesn’t find it easy to talk about those things. He’s rather independent and used to taking care of things by himself, not getting overwhelmed even in unfamiliar situations. He is, in fact, very difficult to get embarrassed or overwhelmed, as he takes things in a stride. He’s also very good at keeping things to himself (we don’t count singing the chorus of Fly too early because this boy can’t help but sing 24/7).

Youngjae’s type of humour is very crude, similar to Bambam and Yugyeom. He’ll play cute to avoid getting punished. He has more respect to the hyung-dongsaeng distinction than Yugyeom and Bambam, and he wants to act a good hyung for the two members that are younger than him. He, similar to Jaebum, prefers comfort over style, but Youngjae doesn’t feel the need to put up an act, he’s just. Self-conscious that who and what he is isn’t enough.

Bambam is similar to Jackson in the sense that he also has bravado to have him act the way others expect him to, although, once again, not as extreme as Jackson. Previously this made Bambam act cutesy, but now that he wants to be respected more as an adult, he tries to act more manly and mature, although he’s still not quite that mature and he just is naturally very cute and should embrace that confidently like Mark does. Bambam is silly and dorky very naturally, but beneath that, he is someone who is very sensitive and considerate of others, he just sometimes takes his jokes too far because he’s still not quite that mature. He just tries really hard to fit in and to be cool, but he’s sensitive towards critic and does understand when he oversteps and is corrected. Much unlike Mark, he needs acceptance and praise from others to be brave and take steps out of his comfort zone, not knowing he’s good in his own right unless he hears it from others, although Bambam will believe the words of praise, unlike Jackson.

Bambam is more aware of others than perhaps many think, and he’s a natural at understanding other people, their tastes and their feelings. He finds it easy to be friends with anyone, and gets along with people well. Like Jackson, Bambam wants to please others, and he gets very bashful in situations, similar to Yugyeom, although Bambam covers it better, or at least tries to. Bambam has a lot of respect for others. Both Bambam and Yugyeom are very much learning from their hyungs how to act, and thus a lot of their traits can be seen in them. Bambam is similar to Jaebum (and previously Jackson) in trying to emphasize his manliness which, uh. Is in vain, because he’s a cutie pie.

Yugyeom is a bashful big baby. He used to be very self-conscious because his tall giant giraffe figure didn’t fit a cute maknae image (pffft), but he seems mostly over that now. He’s just someone who is naturally bashful and playful and just such a cute little thing although he is a giant. Yugyeom is a little competitive, a little naive, someone who believes things too easily. He likes to antagonize his hyungs for attention, and because he will get away with it because he’s cute. Being a brat is the way he found for himself to act the role of a maknae without filling the traditional cutesy maknae image (lies). I don’t even know what he likes more, being put in his place or getting away with it, probably both.

Yugyeom has a lot of pride in his skills, very similar to Mark in the sense that although he seeks to constantly improve himself, he doesn’t look down on his current skills. However, Yugyeom will get embarrassed when he is recognized for his skills, or given spotlight, or a lot of attention. In fact, he will get embarrassed about anything very easily. Yugyeom violently cares about his GOT7 family to be happy and together, and he is very proud of them, although he will either downplay it or just get embarrassed. He cares a lot about other people’s happiness, although he isn’t quite as observant as some of the others, in fact, he will easily miss cues, ending up clueless or the last to know quite easily. He is very friendly and polite, and although he kind of wants attention and recognition, he won’t go around demanding it (except by being a brat to hyungs he is comfortable with).

So I'm aware this is bordering on slightly inappropriate but I was wondering if when you write the smut scenes for playhouse- specifically the blowjobs- if this was based on any prior experience or not- feel free to not answer this if it makes you uncomfortable btw I low key was having a discussion with a freind who reads playhouse as well and so know I have a point to prove of sorts but it's ok if you'd rather not answer- we love playhouse by the way ❤ thank you for your time and your writing.

Playhouse [Markson, M] 45/?
