Tanya's spell on Saya

So I was rewatching Arthdal Chronicles for the third time and I came to this particular scene.

And thinking about it, her curse actually worked. By making Saya fall in love with her, Tanya pretty much owns him. You can see how vulnerable he is around her.

And he has already become very protective of her. For example, in ep.15 Saya was injured/sick, and still fought for her, and then again in episode 16, how quickly he "shields" Tanya when Tagon, his father who Saya is visibly terrified of, could be a threat to her.

Tanya became Saya's master not by power and fear, but by conquering his heart. Honestly, I think that is beautiful.
