Expanding on 14: If you're first in lane on an intersection and the light turns green, WAIT and LOOK AROUND FIRST before driving forward.

I've had a couple near misses where I went a little forward and narrowly stopped before a car sped through the red light because they chose not to slow down at the yellow. Another foot forward and I would've been T-boned.

So keep in mind that people will speed at a yellow to beat the red, and if they can't miss the red than they'll continue anyways in the brief time the other cars aren't moving. Stay safe.

the thing that bothers me with 7 deadly sin based characters is when they cant decide if they embody the sin by suffering from it or by drawing it out of others. ie. if your gluttony demon is a guy who loves eating then your lust demon should be a gooner sex pest. and if your lust demon is a seductive girlboss then your gluttony demon should be a 5 star chef. does this make sense.

I know that the shading, movement, sword unsheathing and the vapor effect from the blade are impressive - but I'm utterly mesmerized by the centipede moving in the background. It's subtle and isn't the focus of the drawing, but that small detail with how it's been executed is beautiful to me.

I don’t think they care so much about research, rather it’s about getting it done fast. Really that’s all what the usage of AI is these days: doing it fast. Not to say that that alone makes it bad, but some things should be done fast while others need proper time and attention. Plus people mistake fast for efficient, which is about the same logic as baking a cake for 2 minutes at over 900 degrees Fahrenheit.

I have no idea how people even do any kind of research with AI, because it seems to find only the most surface-level information you can research yourself in the same amount of time.

Like, just to be funny, I asked Gemini how many times Takehito Koyasu has played a vampire or a vampire-like character, because he seems to always pop up as one in one media or another. After doing """deep research""" for a few minutes it gave me a list of, like, six characters and I could immediately name two more just off the top of my head.

I fail to find a scenario where that shit would actually be useful, this is just sloppy.

I’d certainly believe that the restaurant change (not the logo) may have been done to make it easier to move locations due to real estate. It’s the same reason why a lot of current day fast-food restaurants like McDonald’s have far less kid-centered decorations and no playgrounds - because having that makes it harder (and more expensive) to sell off the property.

Sadly Cracker Barrel cant do that as easily. Nobody goes to McDonald’s for the ambiance, but Cracker Barrel’s was practically integral. Aside from some good country breakfast it’ll always be a restaurant defined by having an old country aesthetic and gift shop. Plus all the harmonicas we all got as children only to lose in under a month.
