Also you’re not buying the accreditation - you’re buying the professor’s time, the university’s resources, and the access to the professionally studied information that would make it easier to be recognized/licensed as a professional within your chosen field. It isn’t perfect, but generally people assume that if you have a doctorates in medicine than you must know or have practiced what you’re doing.
Why are you using chatgpt to get through college. Why are you spending so much time and money on something just to be functionally illiterate and have zero new skills at the end of it all. Literally shooting yourself in the foot. If you want to waste thirty grand you can always just buy a sportscar.

Thinking of that anime trope where a character unsheathes their Katana and cuts someone to ribbons but the effect only happens once they fully sheathe the sword back in.
Except it doesn’t, and their enemy is still fully intact so they run away. Then after a long time they finally click the sword back in place - meanwhile, far away, the enemy is in a bar and just suddenly explodes into a blood geyser.
Just the longest situationally delayed reaction.

The rise of anti-intellectualism has been crazy to witness especially bc people aren’t putting the pieces together. Like more and more I’m seeing average every day people saying things like an education and even literacy are not necessary to earn a living. Meanwhile those in power are absolutely sending their children to the best schools and ensuring that they will receive accredited degrees. The people who hold economic, legal and social power are educated; why would you want to lock yourself out of being able to participate in those spaces? If knowledge was so useless, why do those in power not want you have it while they hoard it for themselves and their children?

Gonna be embarrassingly honest here: Misread this and thought, “why do you want a horror game about Crispin Glover?”, corrected myself and thought further, “Oh a gory horror game about Grover”, only to reread it again and finally process what you really said.

i really could write an essay on how shit is that we’ve completely abandoned the monster-of-the-week episode format even when rebooting shows that relied on it to replace them with grimdark edgy plotlines where nothing feels good or accomplished at the end of the day
