This video has become decidedly therapeutic for me, on a daily basis. I watch it once in the morning on waking and again at bedtime, and all of my negative aspects in this horrible human world are dissipated, and I can build and maintain a sustained gentle, peaceful, and loving Gelfling mentality all day long, everyday, that makes me feel immune to the unrelenting trials of this nightmare human world I’m temporarily imprisoned in.

The dark crystal - dating Kylan head canons (part 2)

You love to sit by the campfire with Kylan and to cuddle him

When you go for a nightwalk and Kylan gets scared, you'd protect him. You'd pat his head and hug him

You'd adore his cooking skills. When you'd be sick, Kylan would cook broth for you to make you feel better

For you, Kylan looks absolutely beautiful with loose hair. Sometimes you'd just look at him and adore how handsome he is

But you also love to braid Kylans hair and make him some cute, many different hair styles

When the two of you sit outside, Kylan would start to sing and you'd close your eyes and just listen to his beautiful voice

Kylan would be inspired by you to write many new songs

Kylan loves to hug you from behind and kiss your cheek

When waking up after a sleep over, Kylan would gently cover your sensitive eyes, to protect them from the sunlight shining brightly into the room

He'd make breakfast for you

Since he's one of the few gelflings who are able to read, Kylan would teach you

The dark crystal - dating Kylan head canons (part 1)

Meeting him

When you're not a Spriton, you'd see him in Sami Thicket for the first time as you'd go there for a visit

Kylan would sit by a campfire, telling a song to the members of the village and you'd watch and listen to him from the distance.

The next day, as you see him again you'd talk to him and tell him that you really liked his singing

You'd talk to each other more and more, but at one point you'd have to leave Sami Thicket

As you're away and travel Thra, you notice that you miss him and decide to visit Sami Thicket again

Kylan would have remembered you and is happy to see you again

He would greet you with a hug, what causes your heart to jump a bit

He would have told maudra Mera about you and she invites you to stay in Sami Thicket for a while

Being in Sami Thicket, you'd spend more and more time with Kylan. You'd talk to each about yourselves, your interests, your cultures.

Kylan would cook you his broth

You'd spend more and more time together and at one point one of you asks the other for a date
