Also the jet lag is gonna be crazy since I am from Washington but I’m in Florida rn for vacation which is a three hour difference and I’m only home for two days and then flying out to Houston. I’m so cooked but I love robotics so screw my sleep schedule!

Okay so basically the wrong staring point for our auto was selected so the arm that brought our robots total height to eight feet (it was our 2022-2023 robot Polarity for charged up) SWUNG OUT OF THE FEILD and hit the ref and knocked over their stand and broke their tablet. We probably coulda stopped it sooner but we didn’t wanna waste the whole match and we had no idea it’d end that horribly. I was robot cart tech for that match sooooo I saw the whole thing. Lol great first comp story of mine

We’ve got hella summer camp action and some FLL and FTC teams at the several middle schools in our area and also our high school is the second biggest in the state, around 3,500 student attend here so yeah. Also unless you’re shit at what you do (or are problematic/creepy), you usually won’t not make the team after training.

Unless the someone higher up doesn’t like you. Not gonna name names but they don’t like me either. Still made the team tho cuz I was too good for him to not let me onto the team again

Yeah Bear Metal is such a massive team so most people who fill out the forms get a local comp role and we have whole ass training sessions for scouting and we’ve got shifters so scouting is kind of a huge deal (we made a whole custom scouting app for this years game) our problem is that we have too many people. I think we’ve got like ninety people this year
