Hello everybody with summer fast approaching here is your regular reminder that:

Everyone needs to wear sunscreen

SPF 50 is pretty much the best protection you can get, an SPF higher than that will have the same effect

Melanin does not protect you from skin cancer

Tanning is caused by exposure to ultraviolet radiation

Spending the majority of your life receiving regular large doses of UV radiation without any skin protection is a good way to get skin cancer

Don't use tanning beds, and don't go sun tanning

Wear your fucking sunscreen

kids these days are spending too much time modifying their reproductive organs into intriguing shapes and giving them bright colors and other pollinator-attracting qualities. back in my day we simply put many spores into a wind or water current and were happy if they made it a quarter mile..... didnt bother with any of that stuff. i remember when we would all take root in a wet patch and throw our spores around, but have you been to a wet patch recently? its disgusting, is what it is

Rules:

You will be lost in either location for 24 hours, and constantly searching for the exit, with only short breaks permitted

You will not be able to find the exit until 24 hours have passed, and cannot use any emergency exits or windows to escape

There are no other people in either location, but amenities are still present (bathrooms, restaurants/kitchens/stores, etc)

Both the Ikea and airport are roughly the same size and represent the typical large city-based Ikea or airport

You cannot die or sleep for more than an hour at a time, and you can only sleep for a total of 6 hours in either location
