connor’s expression doesn’t change, seeming unaffected by the topic of conversation or the questions. “it was damaged beyond repair. there was no point in fixing it, so they just decided to use a new model. they have plenty at the cyberlife facility.” it’s almost as though this is supposed to be a comforting fact. “i apologize if it was at all distressing to you. i promise that i am alright.” he does a quick scan over charlie’s body language before asking, “are you doing okay?”

brows furrow as they share that fact, head tilting to the side. that's wild, he thinks. wouldn't that be difficult to handle ?? yet again, connor was an android. he didn't feel things like people felt them ... did he ?? "uh ... why was your pre-pr ..." he trails off for a second, struggling to repeat the word back. instead he tries something else. "why did they destroy it ??"
