So, I’ve been wondering- well- it’s a few questions actually- hope you don’t mind- but: 1: How did you come up with the idea? Like, did you just wake up one day and go, “heh, Leo but he was raised by Draxum,” or did you see an episode and wondered, “oh, what if…”. 2: How long had you been drawing the turtles? Because holy truffle Mac’n’cheese the art style is just BEAUTIFUL- and the little animations/gifs you make- CHEFS KISS 10 FOLD! 3: And finally, who is your favorite turtle?

it was one of those cases where you turn into Thanos going "fine I'll do it myself" because I was reading a few separated au fanfics and there was a specific one where I really felt like they were not using "Leo raised by Draxum" at it's full potential to the point it became very frustrating to me, I also had that introduction scene stuck in my head with One dropping down in front of the other turtles that I had to draw it because I didn't see anyone else doing it like that

not that long really, all the hype around the movie is what got me to watch the series and it wasn't until I got really obssesed with Future-Leo-time-travels-to-the-past AUs and separated AUs that I started drawing the turtles. also thank you!!

from an outsider's perspective aka before I watched the series and knew anything tmnt related stuff, Mikey always seemed the most fun. Watching rise it it turned out that I love all of them, it really depends from episode to episode I guess, but Donnie stood out the most to me. But since starting the sep Leo au... Leo, is Leo, most specifically One, I love my boy

We usually see the besties interact in the 2AL world - but we also see Sprout go to Oneion's timeline so presumably it's not that they _have_ to meet in 2AL.

What do Sprout and Poptart know about One's timeline? Have they been? Does One tell them anything about what he's been up to, any recreational criminal activity or...?

Poptart has only rarely been to Ones timeline, he goes over more frequently when One starts to live with his brothers, but I think the 2AL place is just more of a favored place to chill!

One meanwhile rarely, if ever, tells them what he is up too

Everything Poptart knows about One and his timeline, he found out about either by himself, asking questions, or accidentally (the vine situation for example, Poptart learned through an accident)

Everything Sprout knows meanwhile, was told to him through Oneion, who is way more open about everything. Sprout then would often have to keep what he knows from Poptart until Poptart finds out for himself through One... somehow....

I have noticed that Leo has very idealized Draxum for being his creator, how he clings to the prophecy and how He gets upset when people question him, I was wondering what the biggest possibility is for Leo to "redeem" himself for his brothers? Because of Splinter? Or because Draxum made a mistake in the end? If you can't answer this question, just tell me if If you consider Leo as evil or as just someone who follows orders and that's it.

Oh yes! One certainly has Draxum up in a pedestal, and is gonna be very hard for him to take down that from there.

For him, Draxum cannot be wrong, One's whole existence is attached to Draxum and his cause, so he can't be wrong about it. In a way One's mentality with Draxum is still like a little kid whose whole world is their parents and will take everything they say as the truth, no questions asked. Draxum is always right. Draxum cannot be wrong.

now this is spoilers so I'll be vague about it

so the time will come when Draxum gives One a mission that doesn't feel right to him, that is plain up wrong. but it can't be wrong because Draxum has never been wrong about anything, has he?

it'll lead to One having to take a decision for his own instead of just following orders <- seeing this is what makes his brother fully see that there's good in One, is not just wishful thinking on their part and hoping he's not plain evil

as for if he's just following orders or if he's evil? I think a bit of both. this is not black and white. One has done and will continue to do awful things, sure, he does them cause it comes with following orders, but he truly enjoys it and will sometimes find the way to be cruel even when it wasn’t needed

some of that will change, some of it will not

Is Sprout stronger than Oneion because every time they are like tackling Sprout always wins like is he physically stronger?

wait that sounded kinda mean, sorry Sprout 😔

I mean, Sprout is still very strong and can pick up and drag Oneion around as much as his knee let's him, but Oneion is stronger, he just never gives it his all

Most of the time they are just messing around and Oneion's strategy has turned into "go limp and let him deal with it" cause he (and me) thinks is funny

but he's just holding back

Has One ever been intimated by any one other than Draxum? Like Replica or Oneion?

I'm putting these two together cause LMAO NO One does not get intimidated easly, actually, I wouldn't say he's intimidated by Draxum either 🤔

He respects Draxum, he knows he's better than him and would win a fight in a heartbeat, but he does not get intimidated or afraid of him, he's afraid of failing and what would happen if he does, sure. but on a daily basis he's not walking eggshells around Draxum, he will sass and joke around him, ofc he knows when Draxum is on a bad mood and he will hold back his tongue sometimes

One's not afraid of Draxum hurting him either, their one on one (jaja get it) training sessions do get pretty intense, but One knows Draxum would never cause irreparable damage to him, why would he? One is being trained for war, if he gets severely hurt, he wouldn't be able to fight anymore, what would the point be?

Draxum pushes One to his limit on their training sessions but he wouldn't push him past that, and One is very much aware of this

One is also not intimidated by any of the future Leos, not even his future self, if anything, after the fight he respects them (honestly more Replica than his own future self lmao), but that's not gonna make him hold back his tongue

also if there's someone he ends up lowkey afraid of is Sprout for... reasons

Who is your favorite/the easiest turtle to draw?

It used to be Donnie, and I still love him and is so fun to draw him, but I've drawn One so much that drawing Leo is just way more natural and quick to draw by now, he's also incredibly fun to pose and play around with his "little shit up to no good" expressions

(future One is also very fun and entertaining to draw, I love him so much)

You might’ve already been asked but what type of clothes does one like to relax in ? As well as what he likes to do for fun or to relax as well. I tried to find it in your blog but I couldn’t see it 🥲

I do have a few designs that I posted some time ago, but he doesn't really have those clothes anymore since, y'know... his house blew up

I made this for fun more than anything, but most of them are more what Draxum got for him than things he chose himself, still, it is what he's used to wearing and what he kinda likes to use

for post-redemption stuff, after he moved in with the Hamatos, he just took whatever was available for him and was never picky or demanding on anything, mostly he ends up just wearing lose t-shirts and tank tops with shorts or sweatpants, honeslty anything sporty he's good with

Mikey and the others start custom making some shirts for him with funny things on them (I have a collection lmao) because they know One will not care and still use them

as for things he likes to do for fun uhhh... he's definition of "fun" mostly consists on: crossing the maze of death, practicing new knfe tricks, doing parkour (running from the police), and petty thief <3

the more "normal" things is that he sometimes plays basketball on his own or does skateboard, very weirdly but sometimes he likes to practice "human" magic, specially slight of hand stuff <- all of these are kept from Draxum since he doesn't aprove

The creator of this villain Leo is @dianagj-art , The truth is that when I heard this cover I couldn't help but think of him, hahaha, this is one of the versions of Leo the villain that I like the most, because it's not that he's pure evil, I mean he was raised with that mentality and Yeah, I like how he gets angry with his brothers for having such a ridiculous way of thinking for him xd.

Did One have any designs before the current one?

yes and not really?

yes because there's a short time when his design was simpler but I was still experimenting with what I wanted so it never made it out of a few sketches before I came up with the current design

this is what the other design looked like tho, is just the same but no spikes, no hood and no gold
