Assembly of Macchi MC.200 "Saetta" fighters at the Italian Breda plant. The photo shows the assembly of early modifications of the MC.200 with a fully enclosed cockpit. June 1940

Subsequent modifications of this fighter were produced with an open cockpit, taking into account the requests of Italian pilots.
