two  days,  three  deaths,  no  new  leads.  this  isn’t  boding  well  for  anyone  at  windsor;  kim  especially  feels  the  guilt  creeping  up.  with  each  passing  moment,  the  killer  is  plotting  their  next  move.  she  can’t  stop  thinking  about  it,  fork  mindlessly  stabbing  at  her  salad  as  she  looks  over  her  notes  from  the  last  couple  of  days.  no  clear  leads.  the  brief  interruption  from  mickey  is  enough  to  lift  her  gaze,  eyebrow  quirking—mmm,  not  quite.   ‘  my  gut  says  randy’s  a  no-go.  he  was  almost  killed  in  the  original  murders—what  would  his  motive  be?  ’  it’s  a  rhetorical  question,  because  there  is  no  motive—not  for  randy,  anyway.  not  that  she  can  see.  besides,  she  has  another  theory.   ‘  who’s  to  say  there’s  only  one  killer?  woodsboro  had  two—it’d  be  stupid  to  have  tunnel  vision  with  this,  only  focusing  on  one  person.  so  if  randy’s  a  suspect,  who  would  his  partner  be?  ’

                 ❛      WHO  KNOWS        ––       maybe  the  trauma  of  woodsboro  finally  caught  up  with  him  .       people  have  gone  psycho  over  less  before .     ❜                  cue  the  half - hearted  shrug  which  comes  to  roll  over  robust  shoulders     ,      french  fry  plucked  up  from  plastic  tray  in  front  of  him  and  popped  in  his  mouth  .         he  should  have  known  that  she  wouldn’t  be  as  susceptible  to  subtle  suggestion  as  others  around  him.       nonetheless     ,      he  is  confident  in  his  deflection       ,       finger  yet  to  be  pointed  his  way     ;      for  now  that  is  good  enough .              ––           theory  posited  certainly  holds  weight          (     if  only  she  knew  how  close  to  the  truth  she  is !      )            /            to  shoot  it  down  outright  would  only  implicate  himself .      no     ,      for  now  the  best  course  of  action  is  to  simply  go  along  with  it .                  ❛     okay     ,     fine         ––      so  randy’s  out .      who  else  you  thinkin’ ?     ❜

since  this  is  an  issue  i  dealt  with  previously  whilst  writing  mickey     ,     i’m  just  going  to  say  in  advance  that  unless  we’ve  plotted  it  out     ,     your  muse  has  no  reason  to  suspect  mickey  of  being  guilty  of  anything .  he’s  an  extremely  convincing  actor     ;    he  is  more  than  capable  of  deceiving  others     ,    especially  with  his  charm .    please  don’t  undermine  him  by  having  your  muse  suspect  or  figure  out  his  true  nature  within  five  minutes  of  meeting  him .
