"No, I made a promise to put it down for the night and I should abide by that," Dion affirmed. He had spent last week manically trying to finish his work early so he could have this small reprieve, so taking any more work home just felt like it was defeating the point of having done that at all.
"Hah, well, technically you do have to submit grade verification to keep your internship. At any point I can ask to see your grades and if they do not meet the standards of the internship then we can drop you," Dion mused however he shook his head, "I'm not that controlling. I promise. I ask out of concern for your health, not because I'm looking to do a GPA check."
However, the prospect of their being a reward amused Dion ever so slightly.
"I could make one, but only if you get straight A's." He shot back, a soft chuckle falling out of him, "Actually, I'd be happy to make dinner. It's been a while since I've gotten a chance to cook. Let me at least do that."
It'd been a while since he'd had a home cooked meal. It felt rarer and rarer these days.
Joshua followed up with a compliment and Dion felt his a twinge in his chest. Joshua was too good to really be hanging around with the likes of him. This was a convenient arrangement, but Joshua wasn't nearly slimy enough to really enjoy this kind of manipulative arrangement.
"Do you really think that or are you just flattering me?" Dion hummed, trying to squash the disgusting feelings wriggling in his chest.
He had never considered Joshua a burden or an obstacle. If Joshua had voiced such thoughts Dion would have fervently denied them. If anything, he found the redhead's presence refreshing. There were so many people who sought to use him for money and were two-faced about it. Joshua had always been upfront with what he needed. It was refreshing to deal with that level of honesty. It was also refreshing to have someone close by who did not have the same amount of money he did. It helped keep his perspectives grounded.
Dion at least wanted to keep up a good front for Joshua. Joshua didn't need to know all the ugly details of Dion's life because all that ever did for him was ruin it.
The parking garage where Dion was parked wasn't far, but the walk still felt too long because of the bitter cold. Snow would begin to pile up soon and driving in it would be a pain. Although, he should count himself luckier than the companion who walked beside him. Joshua probably had to walk to work and classes. Dion found himself unexpectedly worrying about how Joshua would do in the cold. His health was rather weak all things considered. Should he even be out in the cold at all?
"It's no trouble, and no. I'm afraid if I stop by the office to grab some work, I will be dragged into some unimportant thing that can wait until tomorrow and then I won't be able to go home until midnight. After a certain point it's just better to know my limit even if there is stuff at the office I would like to pick up." Dion explained as he unlocked the door to his car.
He sat in his car for a moment, allowing the engine to warm. Dion didn't realize how chilled he was until the heater began to warm the air in the car. His earlier worries come flooding back to him. Would Joshua truly be all right?
"Is there anything you want to grab before we head back to my place? Food? Drinks? Do you need to grab anything from the office?" Dion asked in quick succession. He had always assumed that all Joshua did was basic filing, but Joshua was an intern for Lesage Pharmaceuticals. Perhaps his college or advisor required some level of reflection from him?
In that moment he realized how little he knew about Joshua other than the fact that he was doing Onlyfans for money. It was another thought that squirmed around in his psyche and made him feel… uncomfortable.
"I realize how often I seemingly yank you around with little regard to what you were doing," Dion mused as he pulled his car out of the garage, "My apologies. Did you need to be home tonight? Is your schoolwork okay to leave for the time being?"

g.erudo oc boy sketch under the cut. his hair progressively got more disheveled and i do not regret that
i was musing on lore and i like both takes that if ganon can't die then there can't be another but also i just like the idea of "one male born every 100 years" being an exageration on the hylians part
when in truth they're probably just rarer i.e. the best example is male calico's or female orange cats. something something about gerudo genes having some sex-linked recessive traits or something.
anyway i haven't named him idk if i'll use him but i thought maybe it'd be neat if he was a scholar and interested in researching gerudo history. idk maybe true toi my headcanon he'll frequently engage in orange cat behavior BAHA
kept the round ears cause i hated that changed in botw.

He was always told that-- that he could not possibly understand the horrors of Duscur because he wasn't there and that's why he had to be sympathetic to Dimitri and his pain.
It made Felix's blood boil with rage. Duscur had been a traddyy-- the loss of the king and queen and all those innocent lives had been a tragedy, but to act like the pain of Duscur was limited to just the people there was absolutely foolish. Dimitri was niot the only one who lost people at Duscur. What about Ingrid? Hell, what about Dedue. Dedue had lost everything and Dimitri had the audacity that his desire for revenge mattered more than the pain of the people urging him to live.
After a moment of letting the blade sink into his flesh, finally Dimitri repels him, and there was enough force for it to cause Felix to stumble back.
A bloodied hand reach out to grab him by the throat, yanking him forward. Felix reached to grip at the others wrist.
"The dead don't give a single goddamn fuck if they're heard or not. Do you think that they're the only one's who suffered because of Duscur?!" Felix barked out. Memories he'd tried to suppress were coming back. He remembered Ingrid shutting herself in her room for days-- sobbing because of Glenn's death. She still could not speak of him without her face being twinged with sadness. He thought of his father comforting his mother as she wailed for the loss of her eldest son-- and he remembered his father's stoic face delivering the news of the kings death that night-- battered, beaten...haunted.
And he remembered his own pain. He remembered standing before Glenn's grave in private-- cursing, swearing, wailing that he had the audacity to die and leave being the king's night to him? He had always been a better knight than soft and shy Felix.
"Do you think my father doesn't deserve to be heard? Or Ingrid? Or Dedue?! Do you think the pain and loss stops at just the dead? The dead are dead, boar! It's the living who have to go on even when it's hell. And you'tr chasing ghosts when the living NEED you." Felix choked out, mustering to swing his wait and deliver a hard kick to Dimitri's abdomen. Pain spidered up his ankle as he kicked a man who was almost pure hardened muscle.
"You have no idea about what happened at Duscar."
There wasn't much that could really push Dimitri now, not unless he was on the battlefield. He was a monster. An animal. A boar. Something mindless and meant to be aimed at what needed to be killed, but nothing more. Outside of battle, he kept himself shutdown; the less he could feel and respond to, the less chance there would be for any sort of accident.
But hearing Felix talk about what happened at Duscar as if he knew, as if he had been there.
The blade was cutting deep into Dimitri's hand. It would scar, and the wound would likely never never fully heal; it would cause him discomfort every time he tried to grip the hilt of a blade or the grip of a lance, and it would ache when it rained or was cold. He deserved that. And he didn't care, either. He simply squeezed it tighter, allowing it to slice through flesh as Felix pushed it down deeper, the blade grinding to a halt against his metal breastplate.
And with it still in his grip he stood.
Felix was a strong fighter, but Dimitri had half a foot of height on him, and likely thirty or more pounds of sheer muscle. The blade was finally pushed back before he wrenched it to the side, tearing it from Felix's hands to toss the bloodied blade down to the ground.
"You weren't there, Felix. You didn't have to watch your family as they were tortured and killed in front of you." And a step. "You didn't have to watch them beg for help as they were being torn apart." And another. "You didn't have to hear then wailing and sobbing as they were burned alive-"
His bloodied hand reached out grab at the clasp across Felix's neck, yanking him forward.
"The only people who deserve to be heard about that night are the ones who were there. They're the ones I listen to, Felix. Not you."

Alright. It is time.
Like this for a starter— please specify a muse or you will get the wheel. If you are a multi and want a starter for a specific muse please let me know or I will choose muses I’m most familiar with.
I have a buttload of drafts sitting in a pile I will be working on and throwing in the q. I truly do apologize for the delay.

I think I’m gonna make a pretty Gerudo boy purely for the vibes zzzzz ok good night
Botw + AoC bring up a fascinating question in terms of Gerudo stuff honestly. I know the answer will always be Nintendo never cared enough to think about the answer but AoC takes place in past!bots which is 100 years roughly.
Given the stated Gerudo lore of one male being born every century both these era’s should have a male Gerudo but they don’t. Benji brought up a fascinating idea that only one Gerudo male can live at a time so because Ganondorf cannot die no more males are born.
Obviously I find gerudo lore to be like a hot mess in general but the idea stuck with me because maybe it’s time I try my hand at one gerudo male that’s not ganondorf oc vibe.

#fandom: l.egend of z.elda#always the meta answer regarding Zelda lore anymore is no thought is given to it#and aonuma and miyamoto are just rolling d0’s to see what sticks#and logically the one male every 100 years thing is really stupid in general cause well#it implies gerudo genes know when a male exists and when they don’t so it’s like…#uhhhh…… what are they#those types of lizards where males went extinct so every so often females just become males to breed#I swear to god that’s a real life thing that happens I have the vaguest of. argue memories of some nat geo guy explaining this to me#anyway.#I should make more silly oc’s

Hi does this blog rp with naruto muses?
I'll rp with most characters from most fandoms, so yes. In theory, I will rp with naruto muses. Whether or not I'm actually familiar with the content is another story.
#out of droplets;;#i have vague remeberances of naruto in that i watched the first series#and fell off of shipuuden with my only interest in seeing if naruhina became canon#so most of my knowledge is dated#the only characters i refuse to rp with explicitely are characters from hazbin hotel.#mainly just cause i have problems with the fandom and also beef with several people who ran off to that fandom#but also i thin the hh designs are too busy and ugly#some of the songs are pretty good tho
