hi hello /) i share your delulu! my hetalia universe has nations in very public positions in society, though it varies when and where on Earth ofc. Most of my modern European nations, for example, wouldn't be independent of the government, but rather included in the whole apparatus, most of them with their own office and own (representative, diplomatic, administrative, philantropist, whatever they're good at) tasks. Which doesn't mean it was always so and I obsess over making up headcanons for my nation lore intertwining with actual history >w< And I'm just as fascinated in nations interacting with humans and humanity, with full acknowledgement they're different! Writing books, answering interviews, disappointing historians, being studied by scientists, getting tagged on twitter and all the historical versions of these actions! And honestly I'd die for a political fiction book about/from the POV someone from a nation's PR team. Honestly woooowwwwieeeeee.

It is 2025 and I still delulu about the world of Hetalia where there are people who study politics-related majors, with the dream of one day becoming part of their personification's assistant team - an administrative branch that works somewhat independently of the government and would be under that personification's authority
