the reason i only rarely could watch live on thursdays is because the bar does $10 martini happy hour but also the thursday bartender (rico) will always comp at least one round and sometimes two of our table’s. but rico only works thursdays. so on-season it’s either svu or free four-olive dirty martinis.

listen. i like clothes, i like fashion. every so often i will go to saks and browse so i can have a good idea of quality material and construction to compare to when i thrift. i stand in line to see the costume institute's exhibit at the met every summer even. i love people watching in ritz areas to see how those with disposable income put together outfits. but honestly. outside of haute couture, or conceptual pieces, i will never understand the appeal of a luxury handbag. and i'm someone who has accts on the real real, depop, and poshmark that i both buy and sell on, so i get resale value. still one of the stupidest things i feel you could spend your money on.
