One time I brought one of my rocks with me on a plane to touch to calm me down during the flight, but it fell out of my pocket on my way back to the bathroom and then as soon as i realized this they actually announced “did anyone lose…… . A rock” over the loudspeaker system.

When I went up to claim it the plane man, clearly unable to throw off the shackles of his training in the procedure of asking for people’s full names and birthdates when they come to claim wallets, said “wait no, first tell me what color it is so I know it’s really yours”

He seemed to realize this was stupid directly after saying it and kind of smiled like to make it a joke but the joke was on him bc I Described the fucking rock to him for like 30 solid seconds

At a certain level of gender fucking most transphobic attempts to harass me just became funny/mildly irritating like getting ads in the mail.

Like my girlfriend calls me dad. I've told the dog I'm sisters with that I'd love to be boys with it. I love this one guy in a way that's both the faggot I was and the woman I became. I let the femmes close to me call me loverboy. I get gender euphoria from dykes calling me handsome. Half the time I find masc titles more comfortable than fem ones. And the whole time I never doubt that the people with whom I share my life see me as a woman.

And if we've learned one thing it's that transphobes possess an almost stunning lack of creativity in their bullshit

Sorry I was dreaming of a world where trannies don't have to be inspired creatives or kinky sex bombs or skilled programmers or funny shit posters or successful women in STEM or perfectly passing or (often unwilling) voices for their whole community or perfect saints to get some God damn love and respect from people who aren't also trannies.

As a wheelchair user I'm trying to reframe my language for "being in the way."

"I'm in the way," "I can't fit," and "I can't go there," is becoming "there's not enough space," "the walkway is too narrow," and "that place isn't accessible."

It's a small change, but to me it feels as if I'm redirecting blame from myself to the people that made these places inaccessible in the first place. I don't want people to just think that they're helping me, I want them to think that they're making up for someone else's wrongdoing. I want them to remember every time I've needed help as something someone else caused.
