He just... listened. He was used to listening, helped him a lot back in Ithaca. But it was just the way Calypso managed to sooth him easily just by the tone of her voice. It was almost entrancing. She was convincing, far too convincing. How did she do that so easily? This goddess was really something else, right?

"You're... You're right, Calypso. He doesn't seem like that same man anymore. I guess it's just... I don't know how much he's truly changed. He's a good liar when he prefers to be." The reminder got a laugh out of him. "For all I know, he could just be doing this just to get out of a punishment."

"But I guess I won't find out if I'm sulking, will I?" He brought his head up slightly, bringing Calypso close as he gave her a small kiss.

“Telegonus! Hello my dear!” *She smiled and looked down at him, running a hand over his cheek and holding it before having him let go. Her sharp teeth showing as she smiled.* “You seem down my darling.. what’s wrong??”

*She tilted her head. She still wasn’t good with emotions but.. when a woman.. uhhh Hestia she remembers it being.. taught her a bit she was trying to use it to be more understanding and useful.*

“I’m fine but.. I can tell you’re upset.. so..” *She sat down on the ground and smiled.* “Tell me what’s wrong..” *She said as she pat her lap.*

"He planned... things." His hands shook slightly, just remembering those words made him angry. Telegonus wasn't one to like people, not at all. But that bastard of a man managed to find his weak spot, and then he had to find out just how awful he truly was.

"I'm pretty sure you know about my father's family. You know, like Mrs Penelope and my half brother, Telemachus." They had been nice to him, nicer than most people were. "Well, Antinous planned to murder Telemachus and... "take advantage" of Penelope."

"I just don't seem to get how someone can come back from that." He nuzzled his face a bit closer to the left of Calypso, she was calming to him.

“Telegonus! Hello my dear!” *She smiled and looked down at him, running a hand over his cheek and holding it before having him let go. Her sharp teeth showing as she smiled.* “You seem down my darling.. what’s wrong??”

*She tilted her head. She still wasn’t good with emotions but.. when a woman.. uhhh Hestia she remembers it being.. taught her a bit she was trying to use it to be more understanding and useful.*

He gave her a small kiss on the forehead before setting himself down, resting his head on her lap. She was perfect, way better than that stupid Antinous, at the very least. He sighed, his smile seeming to become just a slight bit less genuine as it started off.

"I'm fine, Caly. It's just..." he stared up at her, putting his hand on top of one of her thighs. Soft. "Turns out Antinous is actually a major piece of shit." His smile faltered. The words should have come out of his mouth easily. So why was it so hard to let out?

Telegonus.. do you not realize that that anti and your anti are the same.

If you kill him, your boyfriend won’t exist anymore.

He nearly stumbled forward at the voice of the prince, he couldn't remember the last time he'd heard him. A couple of months, perhaps? But he wasn't complaining if it meant he didn't need to fight anyone to grab a few simple jewels.

He gave him a small bow as a thank you. "Thank you, Prince." He opened the bag and grabbed a few of the sapphires. Not all, just enough for Circe not to force him to clean the pantries again. He just hoped the prince didn't recognize his voice.

Now he just had to make sure Telegonus didn't get himself killed!

*The thing was.. time travel is FUCKING WEIRD. They heard a laugh. A roaring laugh as Antinous walked with two men. A male with long red hair, a split tongue and the eyes of a snake..and one with brown hair that was fluffy like a teddy bear.*

"No really. That kid doesn't stand a damn chance against us all." *Antinous said as he walked. A goblet in his hand. The snake-like male spoke next.* "Oh no, my plan, it's fool proof. Nobody can messssss it up and caussse it falter!"

*The fluffy haired male spoke next.He was a more nervous man, his green ribbon laying on his shoulder.* "Are you CERTAIN that harming or killing him is a smart idea. Wouldn't the queen just hide more..?"

"Maybe but, she would be easier to take. To see. That tramp wouldn't last without her son and trust me. She won't fight long."

Antinous hoped that what Telegonus had said wasn't an order. And luckily, the fact that he was able to freely roam seemed to agree with him. He took a few quiet steps towards the gem filled room, he couldn't keep Circe waiting for too long. She'd forgive Telegonus, but she'd never forgive him.

He sighed, examining the room he entered before his eyes landed on a small bundle of sapphires. Bingo. All he needed to do was make sure nobody managed to see him. The only bad side is, his eyes seemed to somehow have missed the prince being in the exact same room as him.

"Alright, that's it. Those men are-" Antinous interrupted him, putting a hand on his mouth as he glared. "They're just being stupid. Nothing will come of this, Teleg. Your family's safe..." but Telegonus pulled away. He really couldn't tell if Antinous was lying. For all he knew, this was just him excusing his past behavior.

"They're threatening the assault of my father's wife, I don't know how you aren't angrier. You usually despise this sort of behavior." He pulled the older man close, hand tugging on his hood. "Now, be a good servant and stand guard while I handle this.~"

He walked a bit closer, now he was regretting not bringing his own cloak as he gripped his sword tighter. He was handling this one way or another (spoilers, he's going to fail miserably)

Telegonus felt his breath hitch as he played the words of the men again in his head, hoping he just misheard something. They were planning on harming the prince. Telemachus. That was his brother, right? And the Queen- who the fuck tries to threaten of the queen in her own Palace?

And that man... he looked far too much like Antinous for his own case. He had to look back at his friend to make sure he wasn't seeing things. "Hey, do you think we should-"

Antinous nudged his shoulder and shook his head. He didn't look very fond of what he was seeing. "Whatever they do is nothing of our business. Right now, we should focus on stealing those gems." And with that, he walked away, forcing Telegonus to follow
