Killer Bitch Bingo - Wrapping Up

We’re scheduled to raffle off this AMAZING Gerri embroidery tomorrow, but with so few entries to the Killer Bitch Bingo collection, an extension is being considered. Remember: ANYTHING created after April 14 is eligible, so if you’ve posted or shared art or fic in that time, you can still grab a bingo card, check off any boxes, and tag your work on Twitter, Tumblr, or AO3 with “Killer Bitch Bingo”. Creators Revealed!

Jerk Matron January is officially over, and creators have been revealed! You can find the full collection, comprised of 20 fics and two fanvids, here. A full masterlist will also be shared here in the coming days.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has participated: each of the writers and artists, with a special thanks to those who stepped in as pinch-hitters, and to everyone who's enjoying these works and giving love to the creators.

The goal of this exchange was to liven up a long and dreary month and to help get us through an even longer and drearier hiatus. It's been a success on both counts. With Roman and Gerri back on our screens next month (!!!!), there's a lot to look forward to now that JMJ is over!

There's still plenty of time, though, to dig into all of the delicious works in the JMJ collection (and the many other fantastic R/G fics in the tag) to get even MORE excited for season four.

Jerk Matron January: Reveal Day (Part Three)

I need to be redeemed to the one I’ve sinned against: It’s the winter of 2019, 6 months post-Italy, and the ice between Roman and Gerri finally begins to melt just as the Covid-19 pandemic is on the horizon. Roman misses Gerri, and needs Gerri, and maybe Gerri is starting to realize just how much she misses Roman, too. When they unexpectedly end up forming their own bubble during lockdown after Logan has a health scare, will they be able to control themselves? Spoiler: Dear Reader, they are absolutely not able to control themselves. Not one little bit. (Lucky for us.)

My Angel Put The Devil In Me: Desperate for anything that might help cure the anxiety and loneliness he feels on his thirty-ninth birthday, Roman Roy accidentally creates a very complicated situation for himself.

not broken, just bent: In the dizzying, surreal twist of time between knowing something is wrong and the pain of it bursting through, he thinks that maybe she won’t notice. 

It’s a dumb fucking thought.

Sliver: When Gerri Kellman wants something, she won’t stop until she gets it. What she wants now is Roman, and she’s on a mission to figure out what works for them, both in and out of the bedroom. 

Something absolutely revolting and sweet: They hadn’t meant to have a sex room, it just sort of worked out that way.

suck the rot right out of my bloodstream: Gerri runs into Roman at a ski resort and it’s definitely, completely, totally not on purpose.

the name we’ve long held back: “Don’t hostage-shame me, Gerri,” Roman says, tilting his head. His voice cracks right down the middle. “I mean, you worked at Waystar before the walls were glassed in so you’re probably an old pro at this ‘trapped by evil men who may or may not try to fuck us’ situation, but this is my first time.”

the name we’ve long held back: “Don’t hostage-shame me, Gerri,” Roman says, tilting his head. His voice cracks right down the middle. “I mean, you worked at Waystar before the walls were glassed in so you’re probably an old pro at this ‘trapped by evil men who may or may not try to fuck us’ situation, but this is my first time.”

A helping hand: When Logan decides that Waystar should host a big charity gala one last time before the merger, he tasks Gerri with keeping Mattson in check. Well and truly out of her depth there, Gerri knows just the person to turn to for help. Unfortunately, that person is Roman Roy and they’re not exactly on speaking terms after what happened in Italy…

Baser Instincts: When Gerri had been young her father had a wolf for a daemon. The animal was larger than her until she fully grew up and even then on her hind legs the wolf was taller than Gerri by a foot. Given the type of daemon her father had he had always been wary of Gerri’s eagerness to copy her father. He would always say that an animal’s instinct had the strangest ways of controlling you. That if you were not careful the instinct of your daemons became your own. Gerri had listened and she understood.

So Scarlet it was Maroon: Roman likes to blow off steam at a particular dungeon. After the dick pic disaster, he runs into Gerri there. They can’t REALLY break their habits and they end up scening.

till the morning light: It’s 2005 and Roman returns home for Thanksgiving. He and Gerri accidentally get into the pot brownies that Kendall stashed in the kitchen and the evening takes quite an unexpected, sexy turn.

“Pardon me. Just to be absolutely clear. You came out tonight, looking like this, smelling like this, you came for dinner, with me, under the assumption that what we’re having right here,” Roman gesticulates as he rambles, “this is a date?”

sensible: “Fashion advice from Roman Roy - maybe we can do a whole goddamn Sunday panel on it.”

when I’m broken down and I can’t stand (would you be man enough to be my man): “After all the years of late nights and unsolicited ass-grabbing and missed birthdays and disappointed children and taking a magic fucking eraser to all the bloody sins of Waystar, Gerri Kellman was really about to drop dead of a heart attack all alone in her executive washroom. 

The perfect end to a perfectly fucked up day. Or life.
