some new and improved photos of the bone mage xisuma cosplay!
now with a fresh coat of paint, a pauldron, AND the bone mage battleaxe :D
#hi prev!!! :D#pretty much all of this was made with a mix of eva foam + eva foam clay + craft foam sheets which then got painted!#the helmet visor is purple tinted plastic i bought off amazon + the cape is some cheap black fabric that i cut up a bit so it looked worn#the axe has a wooden dowel running through it and the handle is wrapped in some leather that i cut up and glued on!#the horns on the skull on the helmet are tinfoil that i shaped and then covered in eva foam clay (turns out you need armatures in foam clay#or it takes literally forever to dry headinhands)#the helmet is based on a pattern made by heros workshop but the skull over it i patterned myself#the chestplate is based off a pattern by mellomindCosplay on etsy though i modified it to fit myself and the character a bit better#the skull on the axe i freehanded with craft foam and foam clay based off a 3d model of a bobcat skull and the skull on my shoulder#is just completely freehanded bc i was tired LMAO so that ones not a specific animal just what i thought a skull should look like#im glad u like the cosplay! getting super excited notes about cosplay is one of my fav things just because of how much time goes into#making this stuff sbjdfhbs#srb

just noticed today FalseSymmetry seems to have had a lot of skins removed from her NameMC page, including all of her MCC skins :( the way namemc works, the skins are still be on the site, just no longer accessible from the account. @setacin has found a few, but there’s still a lot no longer attached to that account - if anyone else has links or knows a way to search MCC pls post what you have or reach out!
for any archivists/data hoarders - this is maybe a sign to start collecting links for skins you don’t want to disappear. grian’s namemc was also near entirely wiped, and that was completely salvaged through the work of fans, but for mcyts with smaller fandoms, there may not be anyone doing this :( i just hope it doesn’t become more of a trend, because namemc backlogs are so useful for artists and archivists
