The female’s eyes widened hardly a fraction, noticing that the male had seemed surprised by her presence. It wasn’t as though she had tried to sneak up on him, though she supposed it wasn’t surprising for her to go unnoticed. She also supposed that was how it should have been anyway, whether she wanted to at the time, or not.

Perhaps because of her naivety, Kimiko’s face looked curious and perhaps even a little confused as she looked at the very slightly taller brunette male. She wasn’t entirely sure of his answer, and she found herself searching his face for answers.

“There’s something on your mind” She replied bluntly, without even missing a beat. 

Honestly, the girl was worried about Heisuke, though she wasn’t entirely sure of how to show it. She knew she was nothing like Chizuru who had the ability to make everyone feel better as soon as she walked into a room with a bright smile on her lips. She knew that was because of her position, but that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt if she thought too much about it.
