Gameboy Advanced game coded in C. Similar to the ski game, Georgia Tech mascot Buzz must maneuver his way through the field to avoid the Georgia Bulldogs and collect three touchdowns before gameplay ends.

Design includes: sprites, tiled backgrounds, layered backgrounds, states, paused timeout, sounds, looping sounds.

Georgia Mission of Mercy Video

A glimpse at what it takes to turn an empty trade center into a 2-day free dental clinic in Norcross, GA. Over 1500 volunteers treated ~2000 patients. 

The goals of the Georgia Mission of Mercy project are:

PROVIDE free access to dental care for 2,000 low- and no-income adults while placing a high priority on patients suffering from dental infections or pain.

EDUCATE patients and family members in attendance about the importance of obtaining and maintaining optimal oral health.

RAISE AWARENESS of the increasing difficulty low-income Georgia adults face in accessing critical dental care.

CHALLENGE patients, policymakers, and dental professionals to work together to improve the oral health of those who have been promised care by the state.

As an intro video to the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society Closing Session, a spoof of a James Bond sequence was played prior to the presenter stepping on stage.

Web Aesthetic Re-Design Proposal

The Institute for Electronics and Nanotechnology came to my senior design team with the task of proposing a new web aesthetic. The IEN Cleanroom online system (https://cleanroom.ien.gatech.edu/) has great room for improvement. As it is now, the website does not do a good job advertising its services and branding of the Institute. We are given the task of suggesting a new user interface and conducting an HCI evaluation for the entirety of the website.

The new website will aim to answer the following questions:

1. Who is IEN and what do they do?

2. What facilities do they have?

3. What equipment and capabilities does IEN have and how are they organized?

4. How can one begin using IEN’s systems?

5. How can we better existing users’ experience?

A Building Construction Senior Design team asked me to help them prototype a website for their hypothetical construction firm. The site gave their team an advantageous edge and impressed the judges, securing them first place amongst other finalists.

The installation piece includes a physical puppet-like elephant interface that visitors interact with and a corresponding octopus visualization that is projected on an adjacent wall. The design of the piece explores mappings between the physical and the digital world. Rather than map human movements directly to the digital world, the user is one step removed, transforming human actions to the animal world not once, but twice.
