you’ve been tossing and turning for the past few hours, trying your very hardest to fall asleep ever since you headed to bed after having a movie night with your roommate. you had decided to go to bed early as you have work in the morning — you glance at the clock on your nightstand that’s reading 2 am — you have work in 5 hours to be exact. you let out a heavy sigh as you stare at the ceiling. eyebrows furrowed together in frustration and your lips in a pout because why the fuck are you not able to sleep?

you groan to yourself as you roll over, pulling the duvet over your head. closing your eyes, you try again for the umpteenth time. when almost half an hour passes by, you throw the covers off your body and get out of bed while muttering a low ‘fuck this’ to yourself. you pass by your roommate’s door before wandering into the living room and further into the kitchen. you head straight for the fridge with the hopes of something in there could help you. the inside of the fridge is more disappointing than ever and so you close it again before leaning against it.

“i just wanna sleep,” you whine to yourself, still pouting.

deciding it’s no use after having rummaged through all the cabinets for anything really, you turn on your heel and head back to your room. once again passing your roommate’s door, you stop in your tracks in front of it. maybe he’s up, you think to yourself as you reach for the doorknob, turning it lightly. peeking inside his dark room, you notice him fast asleep in his bed. you frown lightly and about to leave when an idea pops into your head. without further thinking, you slip inside his room and close the door. you tiptoe over to his bed, glancing over him once again.

he looks peaceful, eyes shut and eyelashes touching the top of his cheek. the duvet is only halfway covering him, from the waist and down. his naked chest is rising and falling as he breathes deeply. a soft tingle runs through your stomach as you carefully crawl onto his bed. you lift the duvet and slip under, sliding closer to him. he stirs in his sleep, turning over onto his side. you glance up at his face, noticing his eyes slightly open. you can barely see him in the darkness, but you can feel him looking at you.

“hey,” he whispers, an arm sneaking around your waist innocently. you smile to yourself as he pulls you closer to his warm body. “can’t sleep?”

you shake your head. “not really,” you mumble, cuddling closer to him and finding comfort in his embrace.

“and what? you thought cuddling with me would help?”

you let out a giggle. “more like hoping.”

you can’t see it but jungkook is smiling softly at your words. and if he has to be completely honest, he doesn’t mind you sleeping beside him at all. in fact, he had kind of hoped it would happen at some point. it doesn’t take long for your small snores to fill the silence in his bedroom. he finds himself pulling you even closer than before, nuzzling his face in the crook of your neck. jungkook absolutely doesn’t mind.

Steve was angry. He was so angry that he was on the verge of having another asthma attack and he couldn’t afford using another one of his cigarettes two days in a row. They had denied him of joining the army again. He just wanted to serve his country and do what was right but they knew what was better for him.

He had a little extra money from a commission he did a few days ago and he decided that a film would help calm him down before going back home. He didn’t want Bucky to see him like this. It would only make him worry and they had enough of that already.

He ended up leaving the theater early, not even remembering the film he paid for only trying to keep himself from punching an asshole in the face for being disrespectful. He tried to imagine the look his ma would give him if he came back with more bruises, his cheek was still a little purple from a previous fight, and he saw Bucky sporting the same look.

When Steve met Erskine he thought, this is my chance. A small flame of hope started burning in his chest and he could breathe for something again.

The weeks after Bucky left were the hardest Steve had to ever go through. He would wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, haunted by dreams telling him of Bucky’s death. The night would be ruined after that for any sleep and the only consolation he had was a picture he had stolen from Bucky’s mom.

In the morning he would get ready and get out of the house as fast as he could, every nook and cranny reminding him of something far away and so out of his reach it tore him in half. He would go over to Bucky’s ma and help her do things she couldn’t. She was doing most of the heavy lifting if he’s honest but she was the only form of Bucky he had to cling onto.

FIRST OF ALL. CLINKY WERE S O C U T E. L

Like as you read, you can f e e l the amount of love they have for each other. The narration is mainly focused on Clint's point of view and you can see all the feels he harbors for his wolfie but bucky also gives a h e a r t w a r m I N g speech about his feelings for hawkie. I meant, I just m o v e s you.

I can't do this the feels are too much-

WOMAN I NEED MORE CLINKY FLUFF.

Tiny thing about the narration that I personally adored: noticeably, it's in 3rd person, but the main focus is Clint and his thoughts. It's like you're in his mind and are reading a description of his thoughts and everything. I like this technique, because it gives the narration character and let's say 'flavor'. And since it's Clint, it also (must) has a very humorous add to it. So, congrats to the author for portraying Clint's character very much on point.

And if you don't write more of this, I swear I'll come down there to the sauna of an island u live in and glue you on a chair and keep you away from your dog until you write sth.

PS: STEVEN IS STOOPID AND HE SHOULD GET HIS ASS OUTTA THERE but also we kinda greateful because who knew how long it would've taken these to say the L word.

And when Nat is in a bad mood he always knows to let her paint his nails. He’s reasonable.

Summary: You grew up in the Hunter’s Guild, understanding that it is your sacred duty as a hunter to protect humanity from the vampires that lurk in the dark, draining the life from anyone unlucky enough to be caught. While making the rounds one night, you encounter Taehyung, a fabled born vampire - not that you know that when he tries to entice you into a dark alley. The van is full to say the least.

Perhaps it’s your fault for not thinking through putting seven people in one vehicle, but the boys make it work. You, Jungkook, and Taehyung take the front (they’d rushed outside to call shotgun) while Seokjin, Yoongi, and Hoseok take the back, and Namjoon lays as comfortably as he can in the trunk.

Your concern for his condition remains the same, especially when you feel his forehead: it’s hot, burning. He definitely has a fever and needs medical attention as soon as possible. You try to make him as comfortable as you can, putting a blanket down as padding with another one for him to use as a pillow, before cocooning him in with a final blanket.

“Don’t worry, Y/N. I’m going to be fine,” He insists between heaving coughs.

“Namjoon…” You start, but then bite your lip. He’s no fool, he must know his condition is serious, so why worry him more? “Of course you will be. You’re going to get better,” You smile at him sweetly, which he returns as best he can, before you shut the trunk gently. You quickly slide in the driver’s seat and strum your fingers on the steering wheel.

I , my self, can't comprehend what this did to me.

I'm going to be thinking about t h I s for th next few days like;

For starters let me state that it s o f u c k I N g a m a z I N g .

I gotta admit that the idea of the whole concept being a birthday gift for Y/N is pretty brilliant (honestly, these two couldn't have given her a better birthday present).

Personally, I don't come across many Poly! Jikook fics ( and those that I have...they haven't really blown my mind. But this one sure became the exception of my fall in this hole. I mean, I'm gonna be thinking about it for days, and that s a y s something.

Just the writing being so detailed and smooth, and the words used to describe the erotic scenes were not bold so as to scream in the mind of the person reading it and blow the whole mood away. Instead it was subtle descriptions that built up the tension. T h a t , is what I call good smut writing. Showing and not telling, allowing the person reading to experience the feelings through the character without distracting them with 'awkward' words.

Jimin's and Jungkook's characters were s o well written amd they behaved in such ways that had me thinking 'yeah, she better do what they say if she wants the fun' yet at the same time I was very satisfied when she didn't obey.

And this proves that no matter what a situation if the author delivers it in a metaphorically good way (like this Author did w me because, I say again, I'm not a fan of submissive Y/N's yet I hadn't even reallzed untill I'd read through all the 11K of it while having a l o t of fun) it can be enjoyed by any sorts of reader.

This kind of thing, by my opinion, is hard to be achieved so congratulations to the Author!

Anotha thing I'd like to comment.om regarding the smut; I LOVE HOW IT WASN'T RUSHED. Every movement and scene took it's time to be described. It was detailed and slow. Kind of torturing, especially with Jungkook being a Dom who denies orgasms (not sure how my ego is taking that now, but honestly who gives a fuck about ego after this masterpiece?)

Each scene and moment took it's paragraph and had it's impact on very good timing.

before I share my thoughts I must confess that this is the first time I read a zombie au. I was generally not interested in the genre but thought to give it a shot through this fic, by this amazing author.

Also, this review contains SPOILERS so- mind yourself. Read at your own risk.

Now.

Let me scream before I get into the serious stuff.

JUNGKOOK HAS LONG-FORKING-HAIR.

Listen, I stopped breathing when I read that sentence. I literally paused and Thought 'oh. Oh I'm screwed.'

Mood be like:

In other words long haired Jeon is my weakness and it has a g r e a t affect on me.

Let's get this serious bread now.

I've to say, this is v e r y good.

It proves realistic to what would happen if there were a zombie apocalypse.

I think the vendor is a very good Representative for the Society and how in dark times, such as ones represented here, people tend to get selfish, racist and do anything to achieve the personal welfare.

He's not going to sit and consider anyone else's feelings or how to have good manners if his stomach has been begging him for a week.

It's a good example of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs first needing to cover the physiological needs (water, food, warmth, rest) and then moving on to psychological needs and self-fulfillment.

Anywho, I don't think there's a need to rant on this. I'm just trying to say it makes sense for people to act like that.

Which means the author has thought on a lot on this and has made the characters be realistic to their surroundings and not the opposite.

Now, let's move on to Jungkook, who seems to be the center of this chapter, later on followed by Y/N.

His Character is very, very, interesting. He appears to have a brave soul and very good intentions, he's not one to give up and he appears to have a bit of an ego. But he's not much of a thinker, is he? To me it seems that he's pretty impulsive and doesn't think much before he acts or speaks to get himself out of situations that can be handled with a bit of diplomacy, much unlike Y/N.

Y/N, so far, appears to be a very intelligent lady who can adapt easily and manipulate all sorts of situations to her benefit. Like, getting Jungkook to lead her to the boy's cabin- although truth be told Jeon's a bit naive mind helped her out a lot- and getting him out of the tough situation with the vendor.

I'm v e r y intrigued. Her character is very mysterious and secretive and that cliffhanger at the end really blew my mind. LIKE WHAT THE FREAKING HELL?¿ SHE JUST TOOK YOONGI OUT LIKE *POOF*

Okay, okay, I'll chill

Oh, speaking of Yoongi. In contrast to Jungkook he's very much alert. He has probably Thought out how get himself out of situations that haven't even happened. He's a capable character, whom without the muscular help, but with his mind got the boys out of bad situations (with the empty gun for example).

I really want to see his character development and how he reacts to other events.

There's a lot of character personality diversity here and I really love it. Everyone reacts to situations differently and the author is showing just that.

Other than that, her narration and writing style is very clean and well portrayed. Not confusing and overloaded with information that could be unnecessary. All is just enough.

Very good job, I shall go read more and then await for the next chapter xD

Mari, take care of yourself and don't feel pressured to update. I imagine zombie aus have their own level of difficulty and they are pretty demanding so take your time with it.

S O before i get into the review of this i must admit that right now i’m at my workplace- although my shift hasn’t begun. I just came to burrow their wifi. Now basically that means that I’ll be reading smut (With Sub! Virgin! Jungkook)  in public. In front of my coworkers. Yes, apparenlty i love challening my self and putting me in uncomfortable situations.

Anywho, let’s dive into this. The beginning is strong and attention catching. A demon being bored? That ought to be interesting.

I love that the author uses the term ‘meal’ for the victim. LIke damn right he’s a mean (if he’s who it’s been led to think he is)

So, i find it interesting how Y/N doesn’t take time to observe and learn her her victims, she just dives in at random and lets luck guide her through the night. A bold demon indeed and very straight to the point. A very intriguing character i might say. I’d love to discover more about her.

Anywho, Kook, the oblivious dude. He’s- other than the fact that he’s a damn good sub- didn’t even resist once to this stranger sitting atop of of him. But i suppose, he can’t be blamed for the way he reacted. Y/N does appear to be one hell of a manipulatot ( she’s a demon, what do i expect really?) I r e a l l y loved the way she handled the virgin, basically owned him for good.

Now…a part which I seriously loved and it had me smirking in public (i got weird stares by my coworkers indeed, feel free to laugh at me) it’s the moment she realized he was a virgin.

Like- the way it was written, presented, and the mood that was beeing set- it felt as if the author was hitting a continuous Perfect Streak on my Satisfaction Bar.

Of course, i can’t not mention the fluff- where there’s kook there’s got to be fluff so plus point for messing with my heartstrings there, Ari.

okay but seriously, but having kook stare at you with those pleading eyes begging for more. It’s i r r e s i s t a b l e and i’ll probably never get enough out of imagining it.

Also, let me comment on how fucking amazing the teasing was. Personally, that’s one of my favorite things- and it makes it better knowing that it’s jeon being teased till he can’t handle it. ( i feel like i’m avenging my self smh, ignore me)

Overall, the writing is light and smooth, no unnecessary discriptions. The author gives you what you came for basically. If you are interested in finding out what Jungkook’s bedroom’s color is then…maybe go another fic. This isn’t in the interest of Innocene Is Always Sweeter (and honestly it doesn’t need to be).

I didn’t notice too many adverbs being used ( but then again i was distracted by more exciting things than adverbs, so don’t take my word for solid) which contributes to the story being shown rather than told.

Bottomline, if any reader is looking for a dom!Reader smut fic but with nothing too extreme- then this is the fic for you.

Um. okay. WOW. I- i’d use a bunch of memes to express how great this is, but no meme in my meme file would ever be enough to fully express how great this is.

Let me beging with what I loved in it. The details. Each interaction was so detailed, everything played in my head like a movie directed from the greatest director of all times. I personally love details. I believe details (in actions, expressions, feelings, rooms, etc.) help and make it easier for the reader to enter and feel a part of the story. It makes it more real. And that’s what i genuinely enjoyed about this. When you read it, it feels real. It feels like you experience what Jungkook is experiencing in it. There’s a bit of confusion, mystery. Some questions get answered but each time that happens another three get born. It’s like when Hercules faught Hydra; He choped a head off more would be born. Thing that is great (well, not for Hercules, but you get what i mean). It kept me interested.

Better yet, it got me hooked. I’m so curious about why everyone is there, the history of the Clinic called Omelas ( I see what you did there, author *eyebrow wiggle*), what everyone’s story is.

It’s very interesting and also v e r y well written. The difference of the characters in aspects of personality is very thick and I’ll love to see how they interact with each other. There’s Y/N with her what-I-percieve-as laid back attitude and a little bit nosy and unintelionally-mean. Then Joon who appears very collected and serious, then Jungkook who struggles with social situations. Yoongi seems very mysterious, and i’d love to see more about him. I- okay this is getting carried away. Bottomline; I wanna read more of this and find out more information about everyone. Now...since this fanfiction deals with mental issues and the author stated that they did a lot of re-search before starting this. I’d like to say, thank you for taking so much time out of your life to prepare well for this and do it right and not being ignorant. Meaning that you want to be careful with that you present to your readers and educate them well about such topics that exist (and are expressed in different ways for everyone) in life and should not be ignored.   So, I can imagine that sometimes it can be very hard to sit down and continue it, which is why you should take your time in writing it and not pressure yourself  in order to have the best outcome. Write it in your own terms, not everyone else’s. Once again, thank you for starting this story and i hope you enjoy writing it as much as your readers enjoy reading it. take careeee

He lifts his head at the sound of his name, a crisp voice calling it out through the stiff silence of the whiteness around him. The door he has been dreading since he set foot in here now lies open, a young woman—you, L/N Y/N, he would later find out—in the frame, wearing clothes he would not have expected a nurse to wear. Also behind the door, however, is a man who seems quite a bit older than you, and he bears the pale blue scrubs Jungkook was expecting to see. The man sends Jungkook’s heart through his stomach, but the cold stare of the you imbues a strange sense of dread. He stands up, trying to ignore how his legs quiver as he does, and wipes his palms against the fabric of his grey drawstring sweatpants. I love every single word of this and I'm not exaggerating.

The writing is very smooth and very poetic, the author succeeds in changing through scenes and fast-forewarding v e r y smoothly ( personal opinion; I r e a l l y like that smooth transition)

Other than that, the writing- of this specific author- has grown a lot. Like, there's a sense of maturity in the way Ari used her words to describe and narrate Everything. More importantly, on the sexual scenes. It wasn't just "written porn", it was something more than that. It was more sweet and emotional, not just raw description of sexual pleasure. It's something that I can't eXAcTly pin to describe what makes it diferent than other things I've read, but in the end all I can say is that; It's beautiful.

She successfully portrayed a very beautiful connection between yeri and the reader.
