how to create a leveling up/dream girl/rebranding plan 🤍🍸🖤

establish your aesthetic
first thing’s first, you need to know where you want to go in life and what is your “aesthetic”? do you want to be giving “classy, businesswoman”? what about “nyc socialite”? of course these are just examples, but you should know what type of girl you want to embody. remember, you don’t have to fit a narrative, but you should have a general “aesthetic” that you want to be associated with. even if it’s 50 million different aesthetics, it’s whatever makes you, you.
visualize yourself/life
get inspired by making a vision board (physical or digital) and add to your board (if digital) daily. i find that this helps you stay in alignment with where you want to be in the future. you have to stay in that frequency and remind yourself of what’s next to come… because this new life is what’s next to come.
start with habits
please refer to my “starting your leveling up journey” post, but basically— you should create 1-3 habits for each of your goals and work on them until they become second nature. then when you’re ready, start implementing more habits that are aligned with your goals.
create routines with your habits
can you incorporate some of these new habits into a morning or evening routine? we all know that routines are important— they almost become our personalities and they set the tone for the day and night, and even the next day. for me, i know i’m only inspired to exercise in the morning around 10am, so exercise is part of my morning routine.
create daily + weekly goals
let’s say part of your journey is learning a new language. a daily goal could be learning one new vocabulary word in that language. your weekly goal could be knowing the alphabet in that language. use this method for all of your goals.
don’t overwhelm yourself with goals, routines, and habits
start slow; don’t overwhelm yourself. if you want to work on one goal at a time, then work on that one goal. burnout is real and it’s very hard to get back into the swing of things afterwards. i understand most of us are impatient when we just want to be a different version of ourselves, but it’s going to take some adjusting. i suggest not working on more than 3 things at once, but if you can work on more, go ahead
be a part of a community to keep you accountable
tumblr and facebook groups in my opinion are the best ways you can connect with other women who are working on the same thing. you can inspire one another, bounce ideas off of one another, and it’s super fun. you might want to even document your journey online.
set milestones and have a reward system
let’s say you would like to lose or gain weight, no matter the number, focus on 5-10 pound increments. when each milestone is successfully completed, reward yourself with something nice. maybe it’s getting your nails done, or splurging on a product that everyone on tiktok keeps talking about. apply this to any of your goals where there are milestones to get to.
don’t waste the day
you should not have any “zero days” meaning… you should be doing at least one thing everyday to reach a goal(s) you have. it doesn’t matter if one goal was to maintain a more organized, clean environment— do your dishes, set the trash out, clean up the hair from the bathroom sink, etc.

13 essential daily habits i implement to level up and improve myself

number 1: meditation— at least 5 minutes per day
number 2: prayer— morning, afternoon, and night
number 3: going outside— inhaling stale inside air < outside air
number 4: not sitting for more than an hour at a time
number 5: being consistent on this blog (this helps with motivation and is my online journal)
number 6: being active for at least 45 minutes daily— whether it’s a strenuous workout or a hot girl walk
number 7: swapping 30 minutes of a tv show or listening to music with a podcast, self-development video, or reading a book
number 8: positive self-talk / mirror work whenever i walk past a mirror
number 9: falling asleep to affirmations from youtube
number 10: spending less time on my phone— allowing myself 1-2 hours a day on social media and the internet (i used to spend ALL day on my phone)
number 11: drinking at least 60oz of water
number 12: parenting myself (for example: if i’m getting carried away with being on my phone and i have to run errands, i make myself to get off my phone and to walk out the door)
number 13: dedicating an hour in the morning after waking up and an hour in the evening before going to bed for self-care and organization. NO PHONE, TV, FRIENDS, etc.

Buy yourself some cute loungewear, so you feel pretty even when at home. <3
Have a light, signature scent that you can wear all the time!
Make a playlist of songs that make you feel confident, and play it in the background when doing things at home.
Genuine kindness and good thoughts will shine through your face, giving you a loving and welcoming aura.
Having fancy tea parties and overdressing with your friends for fun.
Try exercises that help improve your posture! Especially if you sit for many hours a day, try some yoga or pilates.
Have weekly self-care days, do extended skincare, face mask, take a long bubble bath, and do your hair.
Trim your hair regularly so it stays soft and silky. <3
Buy a big, fluffy scarf to keep you warm in winter!
Write letters to your friends and decorate them with hearts and doodles.
Dress to impress... Yourself!!
Buy clothes that make you feel pretty even if you're just going for a walk, to the grocery store or to sleep. You deserve to feel beautiful.
Make sure to eat balanced meals, so you glow from the inside. :)
Find a make-up routine that works for you and makes you feel beautiful. I'm really liking the heavy blush!!
Surround yourself with pretty things. Buy yourself some flowers, look for adorable decor, print out pictures you like and make your space comfy.
Find a proper morning/night routine that works for you! Little self-care rituals to make you feel better <3
Going for long dreamy walks to clear your head and reconnect with nature.
Look for pretty jewellery when going on trips or vacations, keep them as a reminder of your time there and collect truly meaningful pieces. <3
Find things you love doing in your free time instead of mindlessly scrolling online. Something engaging but also relaxing!
Cuddling up in a big fuzzy blanket, reading a book and listening to soft piano music.
Complement people if you notice something about them that you like, it might make their day!
Keep your lips and hands moisturized.
Don't speak badly of yourself.
Bake cute cookies and decorate them as a surprise for your friends and loved ones.
Say 'I love you' to the moon and stars before going to sleep. <3

Doll Diaries: 10 Ways to Begin Living the Doll Life.
To introduce my brand and my mission, I have created the first guide on how to Live the Doll Life.
This is the first of many posts to build around what a Doll means.
This is a compilation of all of my advice from past posts, my values and things I recommend aspiring to. It's an initiation of some sorts, and will be a sneak peek to what my website and Patreon will entail. This covers who you want to be (your ideal self), who you are right now (your current self), your measure of confidence and value (your worth), and your reality of who you are (your traits and individuality).

A huge part of what made me choose "Doll" as a brand is the movie, Life Size (2000).
In Life Size, Eve stood up for what was right, was ambitious, and learned how to honor her feelings as a real person. I highly recommend giving it a watch (I haven't seen the second movie, only referencing the first) to really get a feel of the energy I want to cultivate and embody. Now, let's get into it!
1. Embrace everything you already are.

Just because you are in a pursuit of becoming someone new does not mean you have to discard the things that make you who you are. Embracing who you already are and who you were is key to building self confidence. Who you are now is worthy of love and gratitude.
Ask yourself:
What can I forgive myself for?
What are my current strengths and weaknesses?
How can I show myself gratitude today?
2. Love people and speak life into them.

A true Doll does not engage in taking other women down. The biggest issue in today's world is that negativity has become a hot commodity. It is so insidious once it gets started, and it has been normalized to tear other people down in shady, subtle comments. These things bear no fruit. Understand now that talking badly about people and hating them only increases their sun.
What makes the difference between a Doll and another person is that everything she says has a purpose. Before speaking ask yourself:
Is this necessary? Is this true?
What do I gain from saying this?
Would I want to hear this?
These questions will make you distinguish between feelings and facts. You may not even know why you don't like someone at first, but asking yourself critical questions will teach you to see things from a different perspective. Most of the time, this has taught me to keep certain things to myself! If you don't know what you feel yet, the best thing to do is be quiet. It really is true that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. ***There are obviously exceptions to the rule, such as emotional abuse, bullying, etc. Defend yourself. Just don't be the one to be a catalyst to someone's downfall.
3. Be a student of life.

In this Dollhouse, we are eager to learn!!! If you want to lead others, you have to be willing to admit that you can be wrong. Even though Dolls are well adored and well educated, we aren't always right. Well, a lot of the time I am, but that's not the point!
Ask yourself:
What is this trying to teach me? What can I take away from this?
When was the last time I opened my mind to something new?
What could I have done differently? If I am resistant to feedback or change in this present moment, why?
4. Take pride in your appearance.

We aren't perfect...but we might as well be the closest thing to it. Make the decision now that you want to look your best every day. This doesn't mean wearing a full face of makeup 24/7, but this does mean being put together. A Doll should never leave the house without looking presentable, and if this is difficult, it's time for a change! Remember in The Princess Diaries when Mia got a makeover to become a princess? She looked like a completely different person and all it took was a new routine in beauty maintenance.
Obviously, you don't have to go to the extremes like she did. There's nothing wrong with glasses, thick curly hair, or thick eyebrows. It's all about making those things cohesive, which is the point of the makeover. I suggest you go on Pinterest or other platforms to find inspiration for what you want to look like. Create a routine around looking your best for YOU...only you know what flatters you the most.
Ask yourself:
What do I feel when I look in the mirror?
What influences me? What does a Doll look like to me?
What would a physical change do for me right now? And why am I doing it?
5. Have people in your life that align with you.

Friends can inspire us, or derail us. It is extremely hard as you get older to sustain friendships because once you leave grade school, there aren't any commonalities keeping you around people you know. Sometimes, we hang onto people longer than we need to.
A verse from the Bible that I often keep in mind regarding friends is Proverbs 12:26:
The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Ask yourself:
Would I take advice from this person? Why or why not?
What are the pros and cons of having this person around? How do I feel after hanging out with them?
What do they do for me? Is this reciprocal or transactional?
Is this person bringing me closer to or further away from my dreams, goals, and aspirations? Do they value what I value?
During conflict, how has this friend treated me? Do I trust them? Can I go to them when I need them?
As far as relationships, that is different for everyone but the questions are relatively the same. Some people stop their entire journey towards becoming the woman of their dreams because of love. Guard your heart!!!
Ask yourself:
Does this person align with my beliefs and values? Have I vetted them to see what type of person they are?
How does this person take care of themselves spiritually, mentally, and physically?
What is their story? Is this person aware of that story (whether it's with family, exes, friends, etc.)?
What can they offer me that I cannot give to myself?
Why do I want to be with this person?
6. Truly begin to believe you ARE 1 of 1.

Everyone is different, especially you. Your energy is highly sought after, all you have to do is acknowledge that. In order to live this lifestyle, you gotta appreciate differences in people around you so you can avoid guilting yourself into assimilation/conformity.
Individuality is everything... don't trade that for the approval of others. Social media has revealed how much originality women lack... so be a breath of fresh air. Think of this as Miley Stewart becoming her alter ego, Hannah Montana. The best way to see the new you is a alter ego. Celebrities have used alter egos to embody a side of them that is full of tenacity and candor...basically what they wish they could be. Real life examples are: Sasha Fierce (Beyoncé), Roman (Nicki Minaj).
The arc of an alter ego comes full circle. At some point in the Hannah Montana franchise, Miley came to terms that she lacked nothing in being who she really was because the star power was already in her. Therefore, she let her go and embodied those qualities in herself as "Miley". After hard work it will be the same for you, and you will appreciate who you are even more and not have to separate the two.
Ask yourself:
Who am I? What makes me special?
What do I love most about myself?
What is my signature and aesthetic?
What are the qualities of my alter ego/archetype?
7. Be a woman of substance.

It's useless to work towards being an it girl if you have nothing to talk about. So many women have star quality on the outside, but they are surface level and it prevents them from being seen positively and it takes away their chance of being an it girl.
Learn about current events. Learn about past events. Learn about events that are yet to come, and form an opinion.
You have Google at your disposal, so there's really no excuse to be lazy. Find your passion...most people are empty because they don't do anything they love. Be well versed in multiple topics. I know we say beauty and brains, but it really is hard to come by these days. Most people do not read anymore, nor do they take the time out to learn things themselves.
When it comes to school, that counts as substance as well if you're actually taking classes you're getting something out of (which is a whole other post). I would be remiss if I did not mention that education isn't for everyone. But for those of you that are going to college or are in college like me, this is one of the most important stages of your life. You're on the cusp of greatness. Life happens, but no matter what, we gotta get that degree no matter how long it takes.
Ask yourself:
What's going on in the world right now?
When is the last time I read a book or did something educational?
What are my hobbies? What are my habits? How do these things speak to my intelligence and who I am?
What are the things I want out of my education and what are my goals for this upcoming semester?
8. Dedicate time to your healing.

Just because everything looks perfect, doesn’t mean it will always be that way. This journey towards being that girl will not get rid of your need to heal.
Healing is a rugged path that one must travel their entire life...your journey in becoming the person of your dreams never ends. Give yourself grace on things that you didn't know before.
As always, I recommend journaling to understand your thought process. Sometimes, I look back at my entries in my diary and realize that things weren't as bad as they seemed. Sometimes, though, they were...and for my healing process it became crucial to (when I have the capacity) revisit the moments that shaped my perspective.
I know everyone says this, but there no shame in getting help. No amount of Doll Diaries I give you or confidence lessons/advice from others will matter if you are ignoring what fills your heart with dread at night. Like Megan thee Stallion says, bad b*tches have bad days too.
I am in therapy and I take medications for my mental illnesses, and that made all the difference. Tips are in my mental health tag.
I recommend a spiritual routine that works for you. This may include meditating, praying, going to church, taking quiet time...it's all up to you, but it gives me purpose and structure when feeling existential.
Dedicate life to something bigger than yourself. Remain on the path by upkeeping discipline. Outside influences can lead you astray, but you are the difference between stumbling and getting up, and stumbling and remaining flat on your face. This will involve giving up certain things, such as music or shows or even people that push you further away from what you believe in.
Lastly, have a list of coping mechanisms that you review in crisis. Often, things get overwhelming and we won’t get the chance to sit down and journal or go read something. With that, it’s helpful to make a list of things that you know will help you cope and survive no matter what (while acknowledging the absence of these means you’re getting bad again.)
Here is a very small portion of my list:
cleaning my space
spending time with my dog
playing video games
writing, drawing, music
Ask yourself:
When's the last time I had a break without feeling guilty or lazy?
What positive practices do I have in place to keep me stable? What negative practices do I have in place that prevent me from being stable?
How am I currently working towards improving my mental state? What do I know about myself mentally and spiritually, and how can I use that to transcend?
9. Learn the art of detachment.

People talk about being unbothered, but I don't think everyone truly understands what that means. In this Dollhouse, unbothered does not mean being nonchalant and void of all emotions. Feelings are natural, and I am not sure where someone mixed that up. What creates "unbothered" energy and "detachment" is by realizing you cannot control everything and that majority of the time, it isn't personal. This is one of the hardest lessons out there.
Ask yourself:
Is this really in my control?
How can I focus on the present moment?
And ultimately, remember you cannot fix or please anyone. Keep your composure even in the face of negativity. Your reactions and perceptions to everything you deal with is the most important thing, and will be the common denominator when it comes down to your experiences. Two books I read that changed my perspective and helped me maintain this lifestyle on this was The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and Think Like a Monk by Jay Shetty.
10. Above all, live in YOUR world!!!
Make your world exclusive. Keep certain things for yourself so it retains sacredness. Be your own best friend before anyone else. Learn to embrace your own company. Don't always be accessible. Cultivate richness in your life...be willing to take risks and have a variety of experiences.
The main and most important question to ask yourself is: What does my dream world look like?
This is where the Doll Life comes into play. Barbie was marketed as being an all around sweetheart and "girl boss" with the dream life. Bratz were marketed as having individuality and a dream world experience driven by passion.
Both have core values in making sure young girls dreamed big and remained authentic. Honorable mention: Disney, as they did a great job at emphasizing dreams can come true with Disney princesses.
What I want my version of a Doll Life to be marketed as is a world where we indulge in endless possibilities and be multiple versions of ourselves at once. Where we feel like something wonderful could happen, even in the midst of trials.
We can be gentle, yet demanding. We can be feminine with masculine energy, and vice versa. We don't have to choose between one aesthetic or the other. We don't have to conform to the world, because we are in it and not of it. Dolls are seen as "perfect", and that's just the thing, I don't want my brand to be a cookie cutter definition! That's why I say I am the Doll that no one can play with. To be a Doll means to be uniquely you and standing out amongst the rest. It's a mindset, it's a lifestyle.
Don't box yourself in... remember growing up the dream life of Bratz and Barbie refused to box themselves in and remained true to themselves. Live without limits!!! Dreams really can come true. And this Dollhouse is a safe space to DREAM!!!

Even if you don't believe it now, day by day, if you start dedicating yourself to this and remain congruent with your philosophy, you will be more than you could ever imagine. It took so much time for me to do this, but my life is forever changed. So indulge in your wishes, and create your own "life of luxury" or "dream world". Simply live by YOUR rules, and use mine as a outline to get started. I can't wait to see what all of you come up with. My morning routine
NOTE: This is my morning routine and what works with my lifestyle. I know everyone has different responsibilities but I still encourage you to prioritize yourself and put yourself on a healthy schedule. How you start your day really sets the tone for everything you do.
Your routines should be focused on your personal self care above everything else. Once you got “you” ready then you can take on the day same with when you’re going to end the night.
My morning routines include:
Wake up between 4:30-5:00
Make bed
Glass of water
ACV shot
Work out
Shower
Meditate
Skin care
Breakfast
Supplements
I don’t check my phone until above is done then:
10k steps - sometimes I do fasted cardio in the morning, others Ill mix in cardio with 10k steps. Ideally I like to do my steps after I work out, but that really depends on the day.
During my 10k steps I start answering work emails and following up on stores, market etc.
When I come back that I’m showered and settled in ready to work I always dress up (even if I’m working from home)
Depending on the workload, I’ll squeeze in personal stuff, or not. I write my to do lists the night before to plan my day. I’m a stickler about schedules and to do lists.
The rest of my day is very dependent on my work schedule for that day, but I also incorporate cooking. I like to focus more on work in the mid afternoons because of all the time differences and will try to cook before, that way I have no distractions.
Evening routine is back to focusing on myself. Bath, skincare, journal, practicing a hobby or learning something new; and figuring out my schedule for the next day. I listen to audiobooks more than I read and I’ll have them on whilst working, but If there’s a book I’m physically reading, I’ll do this at night. (I started incorporating creative fun hobbies when I embarked on my femininity journey and really push for this daily- can tell the difference w my personality)
Periodically when i’m super busy I get very little sleep but habitually I get about 8 hours.

✨My Glow Up tips part 1✨
Drink a lot of water it benefits your body in every way bonus points if you add lemon. If you crave soda Olipop is a good alternative.
Eat little meals made with whole foods throughout the day it really does make a difference.
Go on hot girl walks get fresh air and sunshine every day.
Drink green juices and smoothies it’s the easiest way to get in all your fruits and veggies plus you can add supplements.
Skincare is self care it’s literally the canvas for your makeup so invest in your products. Keep it simple and be consistent with your routine.
Learn to read food labels ideally you want to know how to pronounce every ingredient.
Drink less alcohol bloating and hangovers aren’t hot.
Educate yourself on vitamins and supplements to target what you want to improve. For immune system you want vitamin c and zinc and for beauty you want a collagen supplement.
Lip filler research your provider make sure you vibe with them and feel comfortable. Start slow and gradually build to your desired shape and size.
Contacts over glasses is my personal preference.
Choose a signature scent for every season.
Keratin hair treatments they make styling so easy and your hair looks shiny and perfect for weeks.
Natural nail colors are the most flattering. OPI and Essie make the best nudes.
Invest in classic basics for your closet black and white t-shirts denim and shoes. Think about cost per wear quality vs quantity ect. Zara is my favorite store for inexpensive trendy pieces.
Wear signature jewelry mine are gold hoops diamond studs and dainty necklaces. Mejuri is my favorite jeweler.
Cleaning and organizing your home is therapy. Light a Fall candle and deep clean your space once a week and you will feel refreshed.
Exfoliate your face and body a few times a week
Ice roll and gua sha your face it instantly de puffs and lifts.
Plant medicine personally I love cannabis and it’s been a positive life changing medicine for me.
Therapy I believe everyone can benefit from it.
Never stop learning read often about whatever topics you’re interested in.
For improved hair skin and nails put collagen powder in your coffee or smoothies every day.
Put fresh eucalyptus and lavender in your shower or a few drops of essential oils for the best most relaxing bath.
Brush and floss often and occasionally use Crest white strips for whitening your teeth.
Journaling is so important on paper or even in your notes app on your phone.
Learn manifesting techniques your mindset is everything.
Get a professional bra fitting and match your lingerie it will make you feel confident and hot.

You’re done watching other peoples lives, because your life is about to become a highlight reel. YOU are the main character. YOU are living the life of your absolute dreams. When you look in the mirror you feel like an absolute GODDESS, BEAUTIFUL, RADIANT. You wake up and feel so ENERGISED. You’ve created a life that excites you, that motivates you, that fulfils you. Five Tips for a winning week....
1 ) Write those fucking goals. Take out a piece of paper or the notes in your phone and write your top 3 dreams. Then break down 3 daily actions for each goal that you can start working on every day. Feel like too much work? This will go to show how dedicated you are to changing your life and moving out of this stagnant cabbage state you’ve been stuck in. Laser focus on the daily goals and taking actions on these, this is how you move forward. It’s all in your daily actions. 
2 ) Take action even if the voice in your head says no, says tomorrow. Make sure you do it anyway. This is your fucking life, make the effort for yourself. Push through that voice, and notice how fucking good it feels to move forward and take action. 
3 ) Start thinking like the woman of your dreams. Move like the woman of your dreams, speak like her. Have this in the back of your mind throughout the day, drop your shoulders and push your chest forward, think of the posture of the woman you desire, the way she talks to herself when she looks in the mirror, how she communicates with the world. Hold the vision of becoming ‘HER’ so high in your mind, you naturally embody who you desire to be moment by moment. 
4 ) Move your body. Find some music and move them hips, the energy needs to flow through your body, you need that movement to feel alive. Dance like no one is watching - do this as often as you can. 
5 ) Focus on you. Every time you get distracted by some guy not messaging you back, upsetting you, bitching about what your friend said or didn’t say, beefing with your family. Allow. Allow. Allow. Focus on you, see the focus on other people as a sign to turn your focus inwards. This takes time, but eventually you’ll connect the dots and see every time a guy is ignoring you, it’s a sign that you’ve been ignoring yourself and putting too much energy on him. And not enough energy on you. Remember the external is a mirror of your internal world. R-connect with your heart with journaling, meditation, therapy, creativity, spending time in nature. It sounds so basic, but the closer you are to your heart, and loving yourself the less time and energy you'll have for focusing on judging others actions.

Where to start
When shopping for athletic wear, stick to black bottoms and light pink tops; having a concept when shopping really helps to only buy things you really want and makes combining your pieces easier!
Go on daily walks, and listen to your favourite music or podcast to clear your mind. Try aiming for 10k steps daily!!
Follow a Balanced diet, I'm a big fan of the 80/20 rule! :)
You can find reasonably priced workout sets and equipment (yoga mats, weights etc.) on Amazon!
Don't be afraid to embrace femininity! <3
If you wear makeup, try keeping it light. Do your brows, a little concealer, set with powder, blush and bronzer, glossy lips and your preferred lash routine. <3
Look up yoga and pilates workouts on youtube. Focus on low-impact strengthening and improving your flexibility <3
Keep your room clean and organized. Clean out your closet regularly, and make sure your sheets are always nice and fresh.
Invest in some cute accessories to upgrade your outfits! Legwarmers, cute hair clips and bows and dainty jewellery.
Regularly clean your make-up brushes once a week!! Number 1 rule to clear skin.
Try Gua sha! I've been doing gua sha for a while now and absolutely love it <3
Try some new smoothie recipes!! Start adding veggies, or look up some green smoothie recipes to boost your metabolism.
Create a cosy and calm atmosphere by using fairy lights and candles. My favourite candle scent is Vanilla!
Start journaling. You can write about your day, goals, or anything that has been bothering you. I will upload a post about my favourite journaling prompts soon! :)

Have a proper morning/night routine
Morning routine:
Start your day with light stretching to wake up your body, a large glass of water and some positive affirmations to set the tone.
Plan your morning, so you have time for your skincare routine; use a body spray to add a light scent. My favourite is the vanilla one from Victoria's secret. <3
Make yourself a nice cup of coffee, and add vanilla syrup and cinnamon to make it special.
Eat breakfast; my go-to is oatmeal. You can really get creative with it by adding some nuts, berries, yoghurt or chocolate! <3
Journal a bit, write down your goals, and some manifestations.

Night routine:
Remove your make-up and do your skincare; if you have more time, you can do a facemask or take a relaxing bath. <3
I love going on evening walks; the fresh evening air really calms me. Make sure to be safe when going out tho! <3

Do some yoga before going to bed, relax your body and calm down.
Plan your next day to reduce stress.

~how to be confident pt. 2~
hey loves! ik that so many people struggle with confidence- so now i’ll share MORE tips on how i went from being super insecure to loving myself. this advice is more mental- like changing your mindset and changing your lifestyle.
stop self depricating humor- trust me this WILL change your life. stop bringing yourself down just for unfunny jokes (pls this sense of humor gets super annoying really quickly so just stop and start loving yourself <3)
stop pointing out your insecurities- a lot of times people won’t even notice them if you don’t point them out. 
fake it til you make it- stop acting insecure, if you act like you have ur shit together, you’ll start to feel like you really have it together.
take care of your health- build healthy habits that help your physical and mental health thrive. have good hygeine, eat clean, stay hydrated and stay active.
remember, YOU are the only one who can make yourself confident- no one can change the way you see yourself. YOU have to change your mindset, YOU have to change your thoughts. 
confident body language- speak clearly, don’t let other people walk all over you. . have good posture and walk like you own the room
ignore negativity- no matter how gorgeous, talented and wonderful you are- some ppl won’t like you. people WILL talk shit about you behind your back, people WILL try to bring you down. you have no control over that, but you do control how you react.
practice positivity- stop judging other people. shut down those negative thoughts, life other people up. create a flow of positive energy.

On Becoming Well Read
Why is it important to be well read or well informed?
We tend to gravitate towards people who we find interesting. A fear that most of us have is that we’re not interesting enough.
“What if I don’t make any friends because they think I’m boring?”
“What if I don’t know what to say at that date and he ghosts me?”
“I have no idea what this person is talking about, but I’ll pretend like I do.”
“God, I wish I had done some more research before coming here. I feel so dumb.”
In order to combat such feelings, we need to actually address them and work on them.
It’s not that you’re boring or plain. It’s just that you may not have expanded your horizon enough.
Here are some things that I do:
1. Read 3 academic articles a month (this month I’m reading on parenting, globalisation and urban riots). Annual review is a great resource. The articles I’m reading aren’t more than 30 pages long.
2. Read the news every single day. I have 13 different news apps that I use. You don’t need to use so many (I just like being informed in what’s happening in my country, the world, and certain specific nations). Start by reading just the headlines everyday.
3. My brain likes reading about fashion, lifestyle, exotic travel as well. I refer to CNA Luxury’s website for that.
4. If you don’t like reading, watch videos instead. YouTube is a vast resource. Look for TED videos, Cold fusion, Slidebean, Circle of Life, History Matters, Ted Ed, Absolute History.
Here are some topics I think are interesting / you can research on:
* your country’s history
* Basic international history and some of the most notable/ infamous events
* Classic literature
* Architecture basics
* Interior aesthetics
* Famous people and families in your country
* Prominent CEOs, politicians and personalities
* Start ups and industries that are becoming popular
* Small talk
* Jewellery - stones, metal types, settings
* Massages - best pressure points
* Real estate - structure deals, buying and selling homes
* Economics - rates and what they mean
* Philosophy basics and notable figures
* Alcohol basics - how is French wine different from Italian, why is champagne called champagne, what is the most popular drink in every country?
* Lesser known communities and tribes

disconnect : Starting by turning off your notifications, this is YOUR time you need to focus on you and only you. You could also delete social media at least for the day, works even better. Don’t answer any message unless it is something urgent, people need to respect your time.
Set the mood : Get comfortable and set a calm and relaxing mood by lighting some candles, putting on a comfortable outfit which makes you feel pretty, turning on some music, anything that puts you in the right mood for taking care of yourself.
Self care: Now you can start taking care of yourself. Start the longest skin care ever (don’t forget the neck), hydrate your whole body (damage from winter cold is no joke), take vitamins, put on a hair mask, paint your nails, massage your face while the mask is on, don’t forget to drink a lot of water.
Clean your space : While your masks and creams are on, you can start tidying up your place. Your mind is clearer when your working space is clean. Don’t forget to spray some perfume in your room for the final touch.
Prepare things for tomorrow : if you have work or classes tomorrow you can pick out your clothes the night before and organize your bag, that way you won’t be in a rush when you’re leaving the next day.
Relax : Now that everything is settled it is time to relax. Go watch Netflix under a warm blanket while drinking hot chocolate, listen to a podcast while doing yoga, go for a walk… Find something that makes you feel calm and relaxed and enjoy that moment !
