It isn't difficult to become engrossed in your own thoughts when aboard the Ptolemaios. It should go without saying, when you're confined to the halls of a ship—there isn't much more to do aside from thinking.

And Feldt does just that, think, think and think. Sometimes, she thinks that she thinks too much, not even realizing that she overthinks matters as inconsequential as how much she thinks.

She isn't like everyone else aboard, there's those who boarded the Ptolemy willingly, and then there's herself: who was born in this ship.

Maybe that's why she thinks this much when she's left to her own devices, the entire ship is something akin to her safe space, as selfish as that sounds. To Feldt, aimlessly wandering around the halls of the Ptolemaios is no different from someone relaxing in their living room.

And yet—the expression on her face is one of worry—because, of course, when you're aboard a spaceship like the Ptolemaios, when you're part of an organization like Celestial Being, when your home's purpose is greater than life itself... it can be conflicting.

Anyone would think that a realization like this would—should—be enough to send anyone on the sure path to an existential crisis, and yet... Feldt finds it in herself to smile all the same, with a melancholy as palpable as their resolution to see things through, come what may.

"I'm not alone," the words are barely audible, they're meant for her and her alone. At least until she has the courage to convey them properly to those she loves. When the time is right. When the situation calls for it. "We're all together in this. And if it's us—I'm sure we can overcome anything."

Kasarelia, it can mean both hello and goodbye.

Shakti doesn't dwell too much on it, because, if the does - homesickness follows right on tow. It's hard not to think about it whenever she's with Üso, because he feels like the essence of Kasarelia itself. A warm hello when they cross paths, and a bittersweet goodbye when he inevitably sorties again.

(It's more common lately, but Shakti pretends not to notice. If she does, she can't help but speak up, and it's sad if the little time they in which they can spend together is sullied by arguments.)

"It feels like it's been forever," their responsibilities have changed, them being unable to meet as much as they did before is to be expected, but the change is too sudden. To spend every day of most of your life with someone, only to have that stripped away from you so quickly makes it hard to adjust. Maybe that's why she seeks him, and that's why he seeks her in return. Even unconsciously.

"That may be the case, then, I'll get a bigger bottle and have more formula ready." It almost feels like she's doing it on purpose - and she may be, focusing on Karl rather than whatever this situation (a nightmare) they're living through is. Yet, Üso's concern gets to her all the same. "Mm," Shakti shakes her head. It feels unfair to complain, to even feel dissatisfied, when he's out there risking his life fight after fight. "This is the least I could do... I mean, Miss Marbet and the Shrike Team are amazing, you too, Üso, you're always keeping us safe, so... if there's something that I can do to help, I want to do it."

After all this time, her words still felt like home, as his lips formed a smile effortlessly. Even in what would be a short-lived conversation between them, her presence kept him grounded.. Although he hadn't lost sight of what he was fighting for, this conflict had been nothing short of cruel; taking a toll on Üso day by day. He survived another fight, but at what cost? If he kept losing loved ones, he was experiencing defeat in another harsh side of war.

"It feels like it's been a while, hasn't it?" Part of him wanted to say, Who knows? We might get time to ourselves one day. However, he felt like he didn't want to get both of their hopes up, not when the end was still nowhere in sight. Alas, the effect of war made him question his own decisions, so much so that he couldn't act upon his simplest whims anymore.

He chuckled. "Maybe since he's growing up so fast, he might be hungrier than usual." Then, a pause. "Every one of us can hardly get a break these days, too. So, well... I hope you haven't been wearing yourself out that much, Shakti." It was a step in the right direction, but it wasn't the exact question he wanted to ask her.

"Garrod..." It's been a week since the Vulture's surprise attack. Even with decent foresight, Newtypes aren't omnipotent. Tiffa had been, back then, away from the Freeden, leaving them unprepared for what came next.

The Double X had been, against all odds, taken. Tiffa had only found out about this (and Garrod's impromptu departure to retrieve it) after her return.

No one knew, until it was too late. And they had been forced to go from left to right, unable to search for him nor the missing Gundam.

(No one seemed to worry as much as her, but maybe it was because they knew that he wouldn't leave his beloved Tiffa all by herself. Much less now.)

"There's way more Gundams than the ones made by League Militaire," truth be told, Shakti had never paid too much attention to things like this. Back in Kasarelia, it was only Üso and her, she was used to his contraptions and the simulator, but, up until they had crossed paths with Marbet, she hadn't actually seen mobile suits this close.

"Zanscare and the Earth Federation has a lot of suits, but... almost no Gundams are seen nowadays. They're completely different from the Victory, too..."

That's a problem, isn't it? To think that even she has begun to notice them...
