What she means: The ending of HIMYM doesn’t make sense when discussing main plot line at all. First of all, Robin was never meant to be Ted’s wife, as if she was, the creators didn’t lead up to that ending very well, yet they claimed it was the ending they were planning all along, which clearly doesn’t make sense, because they decided to play into Barney and Robin’s relationship rather than Ted and Robin’s. If they had been planning a Ted and Robin endgame from the start, wouldn’t they have avoided the Barney/Robin dynamic all together and just focused on building a stronger relationship between the former? In addition, season 9, the final season, was set over the weekend of Barney and Robin’s wedding, invalidating the evidence that a Ted/Robin ending was the foundation of the series. Therefore, the series finale of How I Met Your Mother is entirely inaccurate of the characters and overall storyline.
understanding that I’m in the army is key right now, someone who knows that I’m pushing them away is just temporary, don’t leave. I’m here always. funny as hell, knows about sports or is willing to learn. someone who doesn’t mind me coming over at 1am because I can’t sleep so you can’t sleep either. someone I can wake up next to and kiss them all over. someone whose hand is willing to hold minethrough the WHOLE car ride(unless I’m changing the song) someone who loves the part I hate about myself and helps me learn to love it. I look for someone who giggles as we kiss, who even giggles as we have sex. I want someone who I fuck and make love too. I want someone who lets me give them the world.
