The best feeling in the world is when you listen or watch some piece of media that is regarded as one of the best in it's genre and you come into it expecting it to be overrated and it's as good as they say it is. You get what i'm saying don't you?

This was me with "in the aeroplane over the sea" by neutral milk hotel. It's always somewhere in every music nerds greatest albums list so i expected it to be some pretentious /mu/core or fantanocore indie rock and i was genuinely shocked when it's as good as they built it up as.

Gojo satoru is probably one of my favourite OP characters of all time just because he is so fun to watch. We are introduced to him as this absolute combat monster who was able to humiliate sukuna without getting so much as a scratch on him AND HE WAS JUST MESSING WITH HIM. He hardly puts any effort into fighting and is absolutely TERRIFYING when he is fighting seriously. His fight scene with miguel in jujutsu kaisen 0 is downright disrespectful.

Normally this would make him boring to watch but he is just such a goofball to watch that it more can make up for his power. He just emanates charisma and joy from his every action that you can't just help but enjoy scenes with him. He could easily kill every jujutsu sorcerer in the world but he just chooses to be goofy. He always holds back because it keeps him human. I really like these types of characters who have to refrain from letting their absurd power corrupt them.

Honestly i can get why younger people without a positive male role model flock to alpha male grifter like andrew tate, jordan peterson, the fresh and fit podcast crew and sneako. They don't have an positive male role model in their life and so idolize these toxic assholes who they see as real men but i also don't understand it because these alpha male grifters are MASSIVE FUCKING LOSERS.

Tate got bitchy at a teenage girl, got told his dick is small, threw a fit then got arrested by romanian authorities because of the fucking pizza he was eating.

Jordan peterson got on an all meat diet because of his daughter and ended up in a coma and nearly died due to drinking a bottle of apple cider on joe rogan.

Sneako was a tate dickrider who followed everything tate said until tate got rid of him. He is literally a cuck who watched multiple men fuck his girlfriend right in front of him and did nothing about it. So much for alpha masculinity.

Fresh and fit are just another alpha male podcast who only stand out due to being the biggest clowns in the circus. They are basically just punching bags for the likes of moistcritikal and hasanabi

What i'm saying is that these kids need a positive male role model who isn't a racist or misogynist or whatever. I promise you that the entire alpha manosphere would collapse if that happens.

You ever wonder what happened to Oli london? The british yakubian demon who got 300 thousand dollars worth of plastic surgery to look like a kpop idol? Yeah he ended up transitioning into a genderfluid trans woman (while trying to look like a blackpink member) then detransitioning and becoming a detrans grifter who whines about dylan mulvaney and "the trans agenda" to appeal to conservatives all day.

The greatest irony is that none of the doctors stopped him when he got all that plastic surgery or told him how stupid of an idea it was. They all just went along with it. Now i don't think your average trans woman who just wants estrogen would be quite as lucky.

My favourite genre of twitter user is "absolutely jacked japanese guy with the biggest pecs you have ever seen and abs made of diamond who's posts either have him looking like the embodiment of sex or are about pokemon or his pet hamster or some other goofy shit.". Guy's who looks like hercules post about their pet rabbit or some shit are my weakness

So twitter is making it official that only suckers who spend 8 dollars a month on twitter and people you already follow can get on the "for you" page (which is now hell on earth for any sane person to navigate) and limiting polls down to those same suckers who spend 8 dollars a month on twitter. These changes will be in effect on april 15th.

Now this will either fully destroy twitter as users finally get fed up with elon and leave to greener pastures OR users become isolated into little communities consisting of users and their mutuals and pre existing followers.

Now twitter getting destroyed by this would cause a massive migration of twitter users to 4chan, tumblr, reddit and instagram. This could cause some good in absolutely amazing artists and fanfic writers using other platforms but i do mean this when i say that the cons would far outweigh the pros. These twitter users are not sending their best, they're sending anitwit accounts, they're sending corporate accounts, they're sending gimmick accounts and some i assume are good people but this would make every other platform incredibly worse.

The stagnation option isn't much better as it would basically destroy an new accounts chances of making it big on twitter and would slowly suffocate existing big twitter accounts. Twitter would ironically become like tumblr where you have to find your own community and artists and fanfic accounts without an algorithm.

I know a lot of people laugh at the statement that conservatives make saying that "conservatism is the new punk" but i did a little thinking and this statement honestly shows just how much people misunderstand the idea of punk and ideology behind punk subculture.

The punk subculture is inherently built around the idea of rebellion. Rebellion against society. Rebellion against authority. Rebellion against the commodification of the human soul. There's a reason punk rock was popular among queer and trans people which led to queercore as a subgenre of punk rock. There's a reason it was popular among women as they sought out alternate form of gender expression. There's a reason the Clash which is one of the greatest punk rock and rock bands of all time was socialist band

Conservatives objectively cannot be "punk" because they ARE the system. Conservativism is an ideology that goes against the idea of punk. A trans woman flashing her dick at a cop during a trans rights protest is infinitely more punk than anything a conservative could do. An anarchist molotoving a police station is infinitely more punk than anything a conservative could do.

My favourite ship dynamic in fanfiction is "trans girl who is extremely insecure about her body and just wants to be loved and her strong and confident cis boyfriend who just sees her as a pretty girl and makes her accept herself for who she is".

I know it's just a regular m/f ship dynamic but with the girl being trans but there is just something so much more SPICY when she's trans. Probably because i want to be both simultaneously.

The pre-flood era in the Bible is interesting, cause everything was just fucked up. You got giants (Nephilims), fallen angels that copulated with humans, demons roaming the Earth, fallen angels that waged wars against God, such as Satanael, and humans who ate MEAT, god forbid. I love paradise lost by john milton. It's one of my favourite epic poems, it inspired my boy william blake who was objectively right about everything and lucifer in it was my first literary crush but my favourite part of it is the part where adam and eve have a hot steamy love making session then the archangel raphael comes down from heaven, exposits about the war in heaven then says "do not listen to or trust satan because he will deceive you" then adam basically asks him "hey do angel's have gay angel sex like me and eve have human sex" then raphael blushes then says "yes".

No seriously that actually happens and there is also the implication that milton says that angels can assume both sexes as a disguise. There's also my boy @destinyesque essay on here about why satan and beelzebub where definitely boning with actual citations

I just got done watching the full 3 hour cut of apocalypse now the other day. I think it made me a masochist because it was painful but i loved every moment of it. It was bizarre. It was tragic. It was even pro-war at times but the main theme i got out of it was how war causes Civilized men to regress into savages and animals.

We start out with captain willard slowly going insane in Saigon. He can only think about the jungle where the vietcong lurk. He can't adjust to civilization anymore. We never actually see Charlie eye for an eye. Charlie is always out there in the jungle, waiting.

Then he meets the crew of PBR street gang. They are just kids who haven't seen anything of war. He first meets colonel kilgore. An amoral warmonger who actively enjoys war yet with a strange sense of honour, A Cyclops who he must trick to gain access to the river styx. Then he meets the playboy bunnies, Sirens who he avoids falling into their temptation unlike his other soldiers.

When they bypass the last american outpost on the nung river then they start descending into madness. The further they go up the river, the more they regress into savages. They kill an innocent family on a sampo for no apparent reason other than their twitchiness. The youngest of the crew, clean, is killed by a Vietcong ambush. Then the leader of the crew is killed by a spear. The closer they get to kurtz the more they descend into hell then they meet the devil himself at the end of the nung river.

Kurtz has fully regressed into a savage who fights without restraint or limits. His methods are inhuman and beyond the pale but they work. The only problem is that kurtz let photos be taken of his methods. That is the true reason why the generals wanted him killed. He has realized that the true reason Charlie will win is because he doesn't fight with comforts or restriction. His only options are victory or defeat. When willard kills him. He and lance (the other survivor of PBR street gang) have fully regressed into animals outside of civilizations limits. They have become just like kurtz and his soldiers.

I honestly think that The 2022 batman film is the only batman film that really understands who batman is as a character and matt reeves batman is infinitely better than zach snyder's batman.

Batman is at his core someone who refuses in his heart refuses to kill even when it would be the most practical solution to a problem. He is someone who lost his parents when he was just a child and swore that it would never happen to anyone ever again. He is so fanatically devoted to his ideals that his inner voice refers to himself as batman. He is honestly just as much as a goodie two shoes as superman most of the time but he acts grumpy so people just see him as an anti hero.

Zach Snyder doesn't understand who batman is as a character just like he doesn't understand who superman is as a character. Snyder's batman is a murderer who uses guns to kill people which literally goes against everything that batman represents. He is also a hypocrite who swears vengeance against superman for killing his friend because killing is bad... by trying to kill him in return.

Robert pattinsons batman is infinitely better because he doesn't go against the fundamental ideals of batman and because he actually goes out of his way to save people. The batman is probably the only superhero film in recent memory where the hero personally saves people and it is definitely the only batman film i can think of where he is a symbol of hope.

I have a problem with how Zack Snyder and other such writers treat Superman/their superman rip off and how they treat the general character archetype of "Overpowered omnibenevolent idealist who just want's to help people" because a lot of them seem to think that you can only do Superman as an emotionless murderous alien demigod or as a goody two shoes boyscout narc with no inbetween.

I honestly believe that superman is at his best when he is interacting with normal humans or just being "human". Stuff like him saving that girl before she could kill herself in all star superman by grant morrison or how he always holds back because the world is like it's made of cardboard to him. Even stuff like his hair being too thick to cut by regular razors so he uses his laser vision to cut it make him more human and likeable.

Zack Snyder fails here because he never actually humanizes or develops superman. His superman is a boring emotionless demigod with no character development . The only thing he does is compare him to Jesus which is honestly offensive considering that superman was created by two jewish kids from Cleveland.

This honestly applies to a lot of overpowered characters. Nobody call Saitama from OPM boring because we can inherently relate with his boredom and every day life. Nobody calls Goku boring because he is inherently entertaining in his drive to fight. You can still write overpowered characters and have them be interesting
