23 days. It’s been 23 days since Eunwoo started home isolation, and he’s at the end of his wits. So is his only companion in the little apartment they shared. 

Bin paced the living room like a caged animal. 

In about - Eunwoo glanced at his watch - in about 9 hours, Bin will literally become a caged animal. 

It’s that time again. When Eunwoo first encountered Bin’s wolf form, he had been shocked, in awe of the magnificent beast that stood before him. But now the transition has become part of their routine. It’s just something they dealt with, and they always made it work.

This time is a bit different though. Due to home isolation, Bin had a lot of extra energy that he wasn’t able to spend. Sure, he’s done his fair share of workout at home. But that’s not enough. Not nearly enough now that the transition period is bearing upon them. 

Also, there’s supposed to be a pink supermoon tonight, according to the news broadcaster. Bin had mumbled something in annoyance when he heard the news. Eunwoo figured it would probably affect his transition, but Bin won’t tell him what it is, even when he pressed him about it.

So all in all, Bin is more restless than he usually is before the transition, and Eunwoo is lost. He wants to help, but he doesn’t know how. Helplessness is a hollow feeling, and it’s sapping all of his energy. He is unprepared towards the difficult transition that he knows will be happening tonight, but he’s prepared to help. He’s always prepared to help Bin.

[12:04am] 

Eunwoo was woken up by sounds of heavy breathing…mixed with an animalistic growl. 

He sat up from bed as he rubbed his eyes, “Binnie? Why do you still have your clothes on? You know tonight is the transition.”
