The thing about artificial intelligence… I thought it was awesome at first, when it was simple, just tools to help you with small things. I don't even know when AI developed to this extreme, honestly.

I first heard about it in early last winter… but after seeing how over-the-top and insane it has become! I mean… my God, it paints artworks, it changes people’s facial features, it writes pieces of novels for you, it even fakes video scenes! Can you believe that?!

I know there are people who support all of this, and with all due respect to them.

I'm just sharing my own opinion. The thing is, it all feels fake. There's no joy in it anymore. You’re not working for what you’re proudly posting, it’s just fake; it takes away the joy of being involved in something you care about.

That’s why, as soon as I learned about how crazy AI has become, I decided to distance myself from anything related to it. I think I’ll just stick to the traditional ways, before all this madness.

Apologies for my very late reply. I haven’t logged into Tumblr since autumn.

I’ve been a bit busy, but I’ve been browsing Instagram from time to time instead.

As for your question, I stopped putting oud in my mouth… since…. hmmm… I don’t know… I think it’s been about two years now.

I know how difficult it is to resist going back to smoking, maybe I slipped once in February this year.

I have to say, I didn’t even get through three drags of the cigarette. I coughed straight away, and to my surprise, I didn’t like the taste at all!! It was strange and bitter, completely unlike how I used to enjoy smoking ten years ago before I quit.

I put it out immediately, and then I remembered the blood-tinged sputum I had two years ago and all the lung tests they dragged me into, along with the stress I went through. I instantly regretted taking even those three drags.

I brushed my teeth right after… I don’t know why? Maybe I just wanted to erase any trace of what I’d done.

It took me a while to come to terms with the fact that people can slip up every now and then, and that it’s okay I wanted to try it again.

But now I’m truly grateful that I found the taste harsh and unpleasant. I haven’t thought about smoking since
