another volunteer at the cat shelter was telling me that the trick to socializing feral kittens is not to look at them because "if you don't show them your eyes they don't feel threatened" and i couldn't help but think of angels interacting with humans in the same way

So going back and watching all previous Guardians of the Galaxy media, I finally realized why Nebula looked so different in GotGv3 and I can’t believe I didn’t clock it immediately.
The hardware around her eye is gone. When she said Rocket had given her some upgrades she meant more than just her new arm. He gave her the opportunity to be more like her old self before the Thanos modifications. Removing that implant allows her to be more emotive and I think that’s beautiful.
I also noticed that when her limbs all snap back into place she doesn’t seem to experience the level of pain and discomfort she did before. I like to think that’s also thanks to Rocket’s upgrades. I love their relationship so much. 🥹

Loki truly was offering Thor the throne at the end of The Dark World. He didn’t have to do it to seem like Odin. “Odin” could have refused Thor the throne or banished him and Thor wouldn’t exactly have been surprised.
So why would he do it, unless he actually wanted to let his brother have the throne if Thor wanted it?
Note: He was standing up in front of the throne when he asked Thor, and he didn’t sit down on it until Thor had been crystal clear about not wanting it.

Sorry if you've answered this before. I know that if you want to adopt a kitten, without another cat in the home, it's advised you get two so they can keep eachother entertained. My only cat is a senior (about 11 years old,) So I don't know if she'd be able (or willing) to keep up with a single kitten's energy/play needs. So in this situation even though there is a cat in the home, would it be recommended to adopt two kittens instead of one?
If I was in your situation I would get 2. I know that Sundew irritated the fuck out of my senior kitties.
