                    ❦ ╾╾╾╾╾ If only the actor could see the brow raising, how in a swift moment the swordsman knew exactly what was happening- and was Kenshi's suspicions ever right. However, he wasn't going to let Cage have all the fun- maybe just lead him on a little to make it seem like he didn't know the dumpling was coming directly at him.

                    "I simply asked for the dumpling, and you have to go ahead and let your intrusive thoughts take over hm?"

                    Despite the words spoken, Kenshi found this very much amusing and was certainly having a good time. Though, he did indeed catch the food with his own chopsticks, a smirk to play along his features.

    His silence is surely going to expose his intentions,   for someone as loud and active as Johnny it was only concerning when he actually kept his mouth shut.   And over a very simple task of complying to a small request.   The actor had indeed almost moved to give him a dumpling,   only for the chopsticks in hand to remain stuck mid air as he found himself looking between the food and the man   ...   he shouldn't,   he shouldn't.   Kenshi was asking so politely,   don't do it Johnny,   don't let the intrusive thoughts win                     ❛❛   Screw it.   ❜❜       and there it goes,   flying in his direction.

                    ❦ ╾╾╾╾╾ It was certainly was an odd yet exciting new feeling that coursed through the swordsman, like a tingle that ran through his veins- deep into the bone. Something so hard to describe if one was to ask him too, but nonetheless a feeling that was both foreign, and delightful for Kenshi. However, as those soothing words hit his ears, the man couldn't help but to give a small smirk before his gaze fell deeper into those magical eyes- so warm, welcoming.

                    "It is not a terrible thing at all, more so a warmth that is hard to explain. Your eyes are so very welcoming, unique and certainly magical.. a small sparkle deep within them"

                    Yuri.. what a wonderful name, fit the other so very well like it was crafted just for him. It was almost impossible not to get lost within that voice, just Yuri as a whole- to a point where he had almost missed the next few words that left those lips.

                    "Truthfully I haven't known nor been around Lord Liu Kang for long, but the time that has been spent it's been very well. Worthy though? Not even close, but I do appreciate it"

【   ♔.   ⸻   &.𝐲𝐮𝐫𝐢.   】           since when did earthrealmers become so charming ? maybe not the case for them all, but this one most certainly was. ❛ is that so ? and who's to say that getting lost in them would be such a terrible thing ? maybe it's a sign to further explore them more and to see what treasures lie behind them ? ❜ & as far as first impressions, yuri was more than willing to allow the swordsman from the opposing realm see deeper. if mr. takahashi was indeed looking into those delightful irises as genuinely and beautifully as they've described, they could see a physical twinkle of them: like the smallest but most dazzling sparkler going off. oh there is most definitely something about kenshi that made them feel in the presence of good company. ❛ but where are my manners ? allow me to introduce myself. I'm yuri. I hope your arrival in outworld has been rather pleasing for you ... it certainly has been for me ~ ❜ a cordial bow followed by a playful wink, obviously in tune with the mutual interest that is blossoming between them. ❛ what an honor it must be to be within lord liu kang's closest party. you seem most worthy of it. ❜

                    ❦ ╾╾╾╾╾ As always the tea smelled absolutely delicious, something about the warmth it provided seemly helping the swordsman whine down after a long day- or weeks sometimes. Even more so in great company, though it had been quite sometime since they've last spoken. Not all to unfamiliar, but certainly it had been one of the longest times they have gone. It was truthfully nice to be in Fujin's presence again, sitting across from a old friend.

                    "I've been fairing well, keeping busy mostly though recently taken sometime to explore, travel. Nothing too exciting truthfully, though it's been nice. However, still very much aware and cautious of my surrounding's. How have you been?"

However, even as the puppet he was so long ago, stories always surfaced, whispers lingering in the wind for mere moments before disappearing completely from reality. This was how it worked, this is how it had always been- yet, as Noob stands before the other, as those words ring in his ears.. all the shadow could do was smirk.

                    Noob very much so knew who the woman was, the very daughter of the mad god himself- Shinnok. Oh how the universe loves to toy with them all, throw new obstacles in the way. A test really, but the wraith was far above this theory for his life has been nothing but tragedy after tragedy. Yet, as the mistress's patience wore thin, so did Noob's.

Although, the swordsman found himself wandering a little further away from all the talk, from the insufferable voice of Cage. Found himself in good company, like real good company it seemed.
