A guy from the train staff was removing a dead animal from the rails and put it in a trashbag. I followed him and looked into the bag after he left it near the trash bin and found out it was this most gorgeous buzzard. I took it home with me to photograph it in peace.. Autumn is coming..:>
EDIT: No it’s not a hawk, I live in the Netherlands and there are many Common Buzzards (Buteo buteo) here. Hawks look different here; Grey with stripes and they are smaller. I know Americans have different names for their birds.
Also please don’t assume everyone lives in America. We have laws on birds here too, but generally we are not strict when it comes to moving dead animals to take pictures of them.
