So my main fandoms are usually things that are more open ended- MHA and JJK are excellent examples because of the wide ranging, open power systems, that can allow one to create new interesting stories, or stick to the cannon!

Other special interests for me, at least now, are The Owl House, Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel (a bit more rare but if I get interested then sure!) and others I simply forget, so if you have any specific ones then go ahead!

Also, I only rp over on discord! Tumblr chat system is BLEH.

And one that rings in her head is a certain song- one nobody has heard before, a slow, gentle, comforting tune, clearly important to the corpse she borrows.. so, she wants to find the singer, layer of this song. Not even death will stop her!

Listening to music has inspired me!

Jack Stauber has a great collection of songs. But one from Jack Stauber’s Micropop named ‘Fighter’ has got my attention right now.

‘Call me Fighter! I’ll mop the Floor with you!’

‘Call me Lover! I’ll take you for a drink or two!’

‘You’ll get Older, and maybe you’ll feel some control!’

These lines really hit me, and obediently they got my attention, but what also got me was the mini song right AFTER this main chorus, kinda a typical love song with some other elements shoved into it that I love.

So this is giving me the idea for a traveling bard, with a deeper, darker depth to her. A normal looking girl..

But she isn’t normal at all, in fact, she’s a sort of monster shoved into a human’s skin. When this monsterous form was created, it needed a vessel.. the corpse of a woman did fine, her creator declared. After a fit of rage from this monster left her creator dead and ripped to shreds, she fled as fast as she could.

She was eventually picked up, after days of traveling alone, avoiding the law for the mysterious death of a mage, and surviving on her own in the forest around the region, she finally met up with a gang of traveling hard that picked her up, eventually helping her to learn her own instrument, the hand drum, and other sorts of drums!

But even after all this, this self improvement. This love, this care, she had this.. darkness inside her- her skin never felt right, itchy, painfully tight, WRONG. Now she lives her life trying to resist this urge to become the true monster she is, fighting that.. that is all she is, a deadly monster simply using a vessel to survive, when she wants to be so, so much more.

Yet another art post! Yaaayyyy...

OKAY, this one needs a little explaining- It's a very, very simple piece, but one that's helped me my entire life. Growing up, I faced a few hardships (I know, who hasn't, cry about it), but what always, ALWAYS helped me was an Image similar to this. The shattering of a glass like surface, focused around a beating pink heart. As the glass shatters and scatters, the life and color dies away into cold, dark black. Behind it reveals a glorious light, covered by the glass before.

Sadly, I don't have the skills to actually, ya know, make what I envision yet, but this is like a.. Hey, I'm trying kinda thing. Something I hope to look back at and say "WOW, I sucked, lets try again"

What this really means to me I.s the heart being, I guess You before an incident, the glass being you're life before it- The shattering the breaking of this life, this routine, from tragedy, upset, or something new- Only to reveal something new, positivity, a hidden beauty you never knew of.

UGH, sorry, this is cheesy, but I just wanted to post this to show I'm here, I'm trying, and who knows, maybe someone else will see this and get it, or feel it?

Another piece! I wanted to play around with the different line tools, but I cant figure out how to duplicate certain lines instead of just areas so.. maybe next time eh! I'm actually pretty proud of this one!

So.. It's rough. REAL Rough. My first attempt at digital art, just fun little ledge in front of a sunset- and yes, It looks like a kid drew a mountain, but hey, I'm trying! I know it'll take time... lots... of time, but I want to try my best to learn to REALLY draw, and really create, and I can't wait to see if I improve! Any tips on how to a start honing skills, like just practices to do. I would love to hear!

Shin, the lamia. Half snake half human, has red scales with sone black ones mixed in to add some variety. The scales end just above his waist, trailing off and turning into skin. He had a few patches on his arms to help guard against attacks. These scales are very strong against slashes, but weaker to piecing and smashing, like arrows and clubs and hammers.

Shin’s hair reflects his tail, red with a few black highlights in it, and one cowlick that stick right up! He has small scares all over his body, but the biggest one is actually write across his forehead, a deliberate, straight line, given to him by an old enemy.. now turned friend- more on him later?

He also has large fangs in order to inject into prey, and enemies. Which is a mild paralytic, maybe them weaker, slower, and number! If anyone has questions or anybting feel free to ask, I love to build upon my peeps!

Free time, yay! Before I head to work I’m gonna post about one of my very, very first OC’s, and very favorite!

Shin Ta’nuk (Tah-Nuke)

Shin is a Lamia, a half snake and half human man, who lives alone deep in the woods. Traditionally he’s played ina fantasy land, but, he can be in the normal realm as well, as a normal human huntsman.

Shin was born to two loving parents, but was dabbled upon by a god, having him be born as a Lamia.. but to everyone’s surprise, his parents didn’t actually.. mind! They took care of him, even if he had increased need for food and tough winters. And loved him as a normal child. Eventually, around the age of 16, he decided it was time to go on his own. He fights like a brute, fists and tail only with the occasional bite once his venom (A light paralytic) comes in.

At the age of 20, now a traveling mercenary known as the Red Tail (Really original I know), he takes a mission from a maiden- Akari Havenfield, a well known Nobleman’s daughter. Of course, he takes this well paying mission.. only for all it to end with him and her at an alter! How cute! Marriage!!

Time passes, by the age of 30 they’ve had their first daughter Olivia, and with another on the way, Shin has settled down in a nice quiet cottage, enough money to last and enough game to hunt to survive..

That is until after a hunting expedition goes long, he arrives to find his home burnt to a crisp, and no family to speak of, besides Olivia, badly injured and burned, with little memory of what happened..

Yaaay! Intro Post!

Hello there everyone! New user! Okay. Lets do this write! (Get it? I'm a writing blog? and right and write sound the same? Hahaha... ha...... ha)

Anyway! A little about me, you can call me Shadow! I prefer She/Her pronouns, but I don't mind all that much! I'm a very beginner artist, and a big time writer and roleplayer, enchanted by all sorts of stories, tropes, worlds, fantasies, and roleplays! Now, I am to have a few different tags on this blog, so I'll sort that out real quickly right now!

My Worlds: Posts about the different worlds I'm developing and building on, usually taking inspiration from media and such! I currently have a light hearted fantasy, a darker fantasy, and a mostly normal life world!

My Peeps: All my original characters I want to make and design, and let people interact with if there's a market for that sort of thing! Could be fun!
