I came across this verse of the Qur’an which instantly gave me goosebumps and I would like to share it to you. 😔
If you are currently going through something now, whether you are sad, feeling empty, or have symptoms of depression—try to ask yourself, have you turned away from the remembrance of Allaah?
This verse struck me like an arrow to the heart, because recently I have been struggling with myself and with life in general. This verse made me realize, that after a few weeks, if not months of me feeling empty—I was slowly turning away from the remembrance of Allaah. I have neglected the Qur’an, I have neglected dhik’r, I have neglected listening to lectures, and so much more. Not only that, I realized that all the while I was being sad and empty—I was getting attached to this dunya’s false promises. I was getting attached to the norms of the society, for short—I was distancing myself to Allaah.
All this time, I have been asking myself what is the cause of my sadness or emptiness. I am naive not to be able to realize that, Allaah does not distance Himself from you. But it is YOU that distances away from Allaah, and that is the main cause of your emptiness. SubḥānAllāh.
O dear reader, O dear striving muslim. Take my advice. If you ever start noticing that you are slowly losing emaan, slowing down in ibadah, and such. RECTIFY immediately, ask for His guidance immediately. Do not underestimate the power of Allaah to remove His guidance from you. In one blink, you can turn from a devoted pious muslim, to a neglectful and hypocrite person. Let us have our regrets in this dunya, so that our regret will be followed by action. Rather than choosing to regret in the afterlife, wherein it is too late—and Hellfire will be our eternal punishment.
May Allaah keep guiding us. 🥺

Fate and destiny.
The beauty of the blessings and rizq (sustenance) that God has given you—it was always meant for you. No matter how things would’ve turned out in your life, God, the best among Planners, has beautifully written the success and joys of your life.
To the souls who are beautifully broken, worry not. Glad tidings, comfort is near. To those who have their hearts disturbed, glad tidings—relief is near.
Your happiness will come and your time will come. For now, God wants you to endure in beautiful patience.
In times of strong winds and bad weather, you—a mere seedling, will once grow into a blooming sunflower. 🌻
Nothing is more poetic than seeing a struggling person’s life, grow to a beautiful story.

Now I know. 🌹
I have realized so many things lately, for the past few months Allāh has blessed me with hardship and misfortunes.
You may wonder why I use the word “blessed” to a thing that has become a misfortune to me. Well this is why, my realization from my past experiences is that Allāh wants me to realize that when I stumble and fall, that we should keep asking guidance from Him. One way to gain humility as muslims is that we do not get arrogant and get attached to this worldly life. Perhaps it’s Allāh’s way to remind us that during our hardships and trials, we turn back to none other but Him. This teaches us to humble ourselves, acknowledging the fact that Allāh is in control over things, and He knows what’s better for us. Slowly I’ve concluded that even if trials and problems stresses us, it actually makes us a better person. How you may say? The more problems Allāh gives us, the more we turn back to His aid.
So if you’re going through something right now, a misfortune, a trial, hardships, etc.
Perhaps it’s Allāh’s way to let you know that you have forgotten Him in your pursuit of this worldly life, and perhaps all He wants is for you to remember Him.
As Allāh (Subhanahu wa Taʿālā) says in the Qur’an,
“So remember Me, I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.”
Qur’an, Al Baqarah 152

The True Purpose.
I know it has been hard for you lately, all the struggle you’re going through... All the pressure that stresses you. The society’s high expectations from you—I see it has drained you.
Here’s a good tiding oh believer,
You are in this world only to please Allāh, nothing and no one else. If you get hurt from the negative comments of people towards you, if you get pressured by the criticism of people towards you—then please learn in your heart no matter how kind and sincere you are, you will not be able to please everybody.
Only Allāh will see your sincerity. Why does our human consciousness seek for approval from others when the only approval we need is from Allāh? Stop focusing and trying to please this worldly life, because no matter what you do, people will always find a reason to dislike and disapprove of you.
Even the most perfect human, The Prophet ﷺ with his utmost sincerity and him ﷺ being the role model for all goodness that there is, still had many people who revolted and went against him. Even his own family and kin disapproved of him. And here you are thinking that you are capable of pleasing everyone? Change your direction and purify your intentions.
In the Day of Judgement, only Allāh’s judgement and approval will determine for our hereafter. Oh believer, please the creator in this dunya, so that He will be pleased with you in the hereafter.
May Allāh keep us steadfast in His religion always.

The Greatest Investment. 💎
People talk, they show off their wealthy investments in business, real estate, and some other matters. They feel happy and secure because of the achievements they’ve made—I mean who wouldn’t? They’ve secured their lives, they have a house to live in, food to eat, cars to transport, and luxury for their comfort. They get so focused in getting themselves ready for this world, which has made them forget about the most important thing, their religion.
They do not realize that the investments they’re making will only last them for a couple decades—if they live that long. After their death their worldly investment will not be brought with them in the hereafter, and if they did not invest in their afterlife during their time of living in this world—such is the promise of Hellfire ready for them, for an eternity. The best investment we can make in this world is investing in the afterlife, investing our time and effort in worship, worship that will bring us the promise of Paradise.
Oh dear believer, where have you been investing in lately? Is your investment in life leading you to hellfire or paradise? Think deeply. If you are in the path of hellfire, it’s not too late. Rectify your actions and intentions, ask for forgiveness, ask for guidance—for none is impossible with the power of du’a and with the help of Allāh.
Want to be successful? Keep your eyes on your purpose in this world, to worship. If you are steadfast in your worship, the promise of Paradise awaits you.
May Allāh grant us the highest level of paradise.

You will get there.
Yes, I’m talking to you. The aspiring perfect muslim that you want to be—will eventually be you. Allāh recognizes your small baby steps. For He is the bestower of guidance, He very well knows this. He does not want you to overthink, He does not want you to be discouraged. All He wants is that you choose to walk upon the right path.
It does not matter how fast your transition to change is, what’s important is the direction that you’re going. At the end of the day, as long as you’re upon the right path, your destination will be the same.
Don’t be pressured, Allāh appreciates your efforts. He sees your pure intentions and counts it. Be firm with your change and don’t let trials and problems break you. Have patience and always ask Allāh for guidance
“Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account” — Qur’an 39:10 🤍

Why does Allāh want us to be patient in times of trial and problems? It’s because Allāh wants us to realize that everything will be better. Allāh wants us to realize that He is just testing us, and His trial is not a hindrance to us, rather it is a blessing. How beautiful would it be if every trial that Allāh gave us—we deal with it as what Allāh has commanded us to do,—with patience. Every moment that we deal with problems with beautiful patience is an act of worship. An act of worship that will surely be greatly rewarded in the hereafter. As Allāh has promised us in the Qur’an.
إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
“Indeed, the patient will be given their reward with account.”
إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
“Verily, with every hardship comes ease.”
May Allāh keep us steadfast in His deen.

People will believe in the law of attraction first, all while forgetting the power of du’a. Talk to your Lord first and He will listen. Stop claiming things, only Allāh holds your future. Having this mentality will only break your heart if you get attached to a worldly thing that you desire and end up not getting it. We have to understand that sometimes Allāh will not give us things we ask for, because He has a better plan for us. Law of attraction while letting everyone know your hopes and dreams? I’d rather be silent and make du’a with the Lord who has control over everything.
Tawakkul—Trust, reliance in Allāh.
He is the best of planners. 🤍

𝘼 𝘽𝙇𝙀𝙎𝙎𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙄𝙉 𝘿𝙄𝙎𝙂𝙐𝙄𝙎𝙀.
— an apparent misfortune that eventually has good results.
Sometimes when Allāh feels that we are going further away from Him, He afflicts us with trials and problems. The wisdom behind this? Allāh wants us to keep seeking His guidance. Trials and hardships are a big opportunity for us to ask help from the creator of the worlds Himself, Allāh. Doing this, not only the hardships that you’ve been through make you a better person, it also brings you closer to Allāh.
So if you ask me, which is a truer blessing?
The blessing that drives you away from Allāh?
or the problems that bring you closer to Allāh?
Ask yourself and reflect.

Someone asked me,
“What is your advice for success at our young age?”
Here is my short answer.
- Find inspiration and motivation for your success. Once you have identified this, set your goals. After all of this combined, you only have to act upon the dreams that you are chasing for.
- Surround yourself with good company. Influence is very heavy and critical especially at our young age. Our circle of friends define who we are too. Surrounding yourself with friends who are interested in making money, talking about business opportunities, etc. These types of friends are gold, their influence will motivate you very much. Positivity spreads fast, surrounding yourself with positivity will kill the negativity within you.
- Stay away from toxic people, they will only bring you down and do you no good. You aren’t obliged to please everyone, especially to those have only negative intention towards you.
- Discipline yourself, control your desires over worldly matters. Learn the difference of NEEDS and WANTS. Once you have the understood the wisdom of this, you would be able to control yourself from wasting money towards useless things as well as time from useless scenarios.
May Allāh make us successful in this dunya and the hereafter.
