I’M BACK!! After practically a year of no posting I’m happy to say that THIS SEPTEMBER 1ST will be the official release date for chapter 1 of ZERO! From then it will be monthly uploads of the full 11 chapters, each posted on my own website (currently in the works) and likely on Tumblr and other platforms to be announced. I am incredibly happy to be working on this project again, as it’s been a labour of love in how long it’s taken me to create.
As the first chapter was drawn and inked last year, the chapters after this will have a dramatic change in style - i’m excited to experiment with it as the story continues!

In order of appearance from left to right:
Rose, Crypt, Ratticus, Hamish and Sameer! my favourite freak squad <3
In their attempt to navigate the city of Lochdridge they have become horribly, horribly lost: 2nd pic is what they're yapping about :)
All 5 of these guys are in class Z - the secondary class in ZERO, so they won't be focused on in the main story of year 1 sadly :( but fear not! They will show up eventually! I love them too much to exclude them entirely <3
In the next few weeks i'll be posting little oc lore dumps, and i'm sure some of these guys will show up in those :D! So look out for that!

I just noticed that if you find out the real meaning of Tequila Sunset while on a date with Lilienne and decide to reintroduce yourself as Harry (Disco Elysium spoilers incoming)…
She will call you Harry after the tribunal.
That is such a change from Idiot Doom Spiral, who expressly refuses to call us by our real name, even after we formally introduce ourselves.
In a way, then, I think Lilienne is our hope that we'll get better. A hope for a better future. Idiot Doom Spiral meanwhile, is the representation of what we were. What we can remain. What we can become, if we aren't careful.
And we can choose. We can tell people who we are. Harry, or Tequila Sunset, or we’re not really sure.
So though I must object to much of Mega Rich Light-Bending Guy's ideas, I have to agree with this:
Names can change the reading of a person.
They can change a person.
They can change us. Whether we try to reverse time, or end it, or push forward, despite everything.
Because remember: Our name means something.
It was meant to keep us safe.
