the busy-ness of life and growing up

I am alive.  I always seem to be busy.  I've been getting signed up for school, working in the Lab, going to the gym (liar), learning Japanese (need to start over), and procrastinating about everything else.

You youngsters have it lucky.  Just wait until after high school when you have to start acting like an adult and paying your own bills.  It's not all its cracked up to be.

Oh well.  Peace out children.

Standing in the doorway still (and confused as all hell), Shamalan Grey stares (or glares in a certain persons case) at the people in the room.

"Ahem, so sorry.  Apparently I was so surprised that I stood her like a *weird* person.  Good evening back to you and on behalf of the Inn of the Black Sheep I would like to invite you to the grand opening."

She hands out flyers.  "Present these flyers when you come and you get your first meal free.  Now if you'll excuse me, I currently have no employees so I can't be away from the inn for long.  I look forward to seeing you there."

She turned and left in swirl of white apron and flip of brown hair.  "Bye bye."

Turning his attention from the rappig in his lap, the blond looks up towards the opening doors - fixing his eyes on the figure standing there.

*snort* "Whozzit?  Wha?"  Rubbing at her eyes, Shamalan looks up to see a rather scruffy guy standing at her bar.  "Ah!  A customer.  Welcome good sir."  She jumped to her feet and rubbed her hands together.  "How may I help you, lovely customer?"

In the not so new, not so quaint Inn of the Black Sheep, found in the back alley of the port city of Capua Torim, you can usually find the rather plump innkeeper busy cleaning up the inch thick layer of dust that resided over everything when she purchased the place....

Role-playing

So my sister is making fun of me for asking her about role-playing.  I point out that the last time I role-played anything was on MySpace.  I feel so old. Ah well, can't be helped.

Experiencing a new world...that's not new.

Have you ever been thrust into a world that seemed so alien that you felt lost just looking at it?  That's how I feel on tumblr (or any social networking site for that matter).  Oh well.  Computers are eventually going to take over the world anyway, so I'll use this as practice for when people no longer have physical interactions and it's all done through social networking and virtual reality.  We are well on our way.  Yay for paranoia and conspiracies!
